Don't normally listen with headphones but I'd recommend it for this track - plenty of stuff going on in the mix. G. Trevino I salute you. Due to this track I have forced myself to become a better guitarist particularly with my Schecter Omen 7. This wasn't easy given I was stuck in a rut but I am slowly getting there. Thank you for inspiring me. I continue to listen to this track every few days.

I bought this guitar from eBay. It was totally fucked on arrival. I had it one year and had put 15 minutes playing time.
Instead of hocking it, I reset it. Re strung it. Cleaned and finished every nook and cranny . Eliminated all dead frets and it plays like a DREAM.
If have the means pick one of these guitars up I do recommend it

I believe it's a 2012, but I'll have to check on that. Not sure, but I couldn't imagine them being too different!

Awesome track my dude! I’m buying my own electric guitar (been borrowing a friends for about 8 months or so, not a complete noob haha) and I’m debating whether or not to go for a 7 string Schecter like this one, a 6 string Schecter or ESP LTD specifically the EC or MH models. I’m left handed so finding guitars with models I like is a pain but all of the above do have left handed models that actually look decent. I play a lot of metal/heavy metal, bands like Alpha Wolf, The Amity Afflcition, Wage War and such. What do you think?
Edit: my friends guitar is a 6 string Yamaha Rev so I haven’t actually played a 7 string before but a lot of the songs I want to learn require me to have a 7 string.

Not to mention, they're one of the only guitar companies that offers many options for left handed players like yourself! The Omen-7 was the first 7-string I ever owned and I loved it dearly! Nice! It really depends if you have the active or passive version of this guitar. The one I'm using in the video is the passive version, but I did have to shave down the cavity for the hum buckers to get some Seymour Duncans to fit in there. I hope that helps! I got one with an active set of PUs. Love it. Which strings do you usually use? I got used to EBs 10-62, but recently set up a 10-56 DR set and it sounds better in my chain, though costs a half from EBs. Dunno why, don't ask, simply liked DRs better.
p.s. another proof HD500 offers a complete b*t instead of a cab sim. Had id, sold it, would buy again for $100 max for stages (which I guess I will never ever climb again, oh my sweet 2k14), I'd better spend $1.5k or even less on a used Kemper/Axe.
I use Elixir Optiwebs or Polywebs because they last a really long time. I don’t have to change them for about a year unless they break which is uncommon.
For my 7 string I use Ernie Ball Regular Slinky (.10 - .46) with a .62 for the 7th string!

Yes, the stock pickups that came with the Omen-7 were actually quite good! I'm not a huge fan of EMGs but I do like Seymour Duncans quite a bit and I LOVE the Fishman Fluence stuff.

hey! i own the schecter demon-7. the 2014 model with the duncans. i've tried the hellraiser c-7 as well. if you're playing metal, please get the hellraiser! it has the best quality, feel, and highest count of options out of all of them.
if you're looking to spend less than $900USD, i highly suggest my model with the duncans. these pickups are stellar actives, and i'm not even a fan of actives! the modern demons with the black and new pickups are really high quality as well, don't hesitate to go check those out. before you buy one, i hope you get to try them in person and get a feel. you can't go wrong with the selection at hand.

No, the Omen-7 that I got is a passive model. There's a bit of a learning curve, at least for me that is. I usually play it in Drop A, I can make my way around it much easier that way.
