Schecter absolutely delivers when it comes to quality and tone. The reason the guitar is so well protected is because most manufacturers end up damaging their products during delivery. BC Rich for example, had to postpone a recent series launch because the guitars they planned to model were too beat up upon arrival, with some even breaking their necks. Schecter is the one company that I have never had an issue with and I applaud their innovative work ethic.
Oh man, that bad boy's a hell of a beast to hear and look at 😍 Never really been a huge Schecter guy aside from Synyster Gates' custom but damn I want that 7 string so bad!
"Nobody uses tone knobs", I reckon you do a video where you write a song with only one amp tone, and any clean or crunchy or lead bits have to be done with just the pickup selector and tone knob!
But there was more complicated tone circuit, completely different than standard, created just for those pickups. Standard tone circuit is just "with highs or without highs", nothing more.
Goddamn y'all took a joke too seriously. Lol. Saying Pete is a terrible player just because he doesn't use a tone knob. Seriously? Also you can still do plenty on a guitar with no tone knob. I always remove the tone knob out of my circuit to completely remove it's effect, and I still get plenty of sounds out of it. Different pickup selections, rolling the volume knobs back, changing the dynamics of your playing etc... In my opinion it's just another knob and wire that can get in the way, both physically and tonally.
@@agropsychonaut "Soon as i heard him play i realized he is someone who doesn't have a honed enough ear to heard the intricacies of tone," You assumed "he is someone who doesn't have a honed enough ear to heard the intricacies of tone," because he said "nobody uses tone knobs. I've been wanting to try a new schecter guitar for a while and I think this video put me over the edge where I have to go get one now. Great video my dude.
Thank you for melodic solo that isnt full of a billion notes, but rather notes I can count and notes that actually speak and share feeling. Right on brother great video just like you do !!!!!!
Thank you for this video, brand new to your channel. Very cool playing too. I have seen this model in different colors at several different Guitar Centers and a Sam Ash. Out of all of the Schecters that I have seen in the last 10 plus years, this model is exceptional. Will be budgeting some money to buy one some day.
I got me a Schecter last year and it's my number one and will be there for a long time. It's got the Sustainiac in the neck and a SD Full Shred in the bridge. Real Floyd trem, locking tuners, ebony fretboard...it is also in a Sweetwater exclusive finish called Aquaburst. Just gorgeous. It was the best $1200 I have ever spent on a guitar. This one is just a badass. I love that finish. Looks like it's playing metal without being played.
Looks incredible! Pickups sound a bit muddy for my taste, but some aftermarket pickups will have that sorted in no time. Hoping to see this guitar in another vid sometime soon!
I really like the pickups in this, they have some bite to them but they’re not super modern. I’ll definitely be using it again in more videos. Thanks for watching! :)
Beautiful playing on the main song. Had to scroll comments to learn the name of the song. Utterly beautiful. Very great guitar. Ordered a toxic venom colored one (green) due to arrive soon.
I do use the tone knob. To go from a tight chugging tone to a sludge doom tone is a matter of rolling the tone knob down and switching to the neck pickup on the same amp settings.
