I was just searching the internet around recently for some nice analog polysynth after reminiscing my old Korg Poly61. and suddently there's this! I think I will have to seriously consider this when released 😃

Nice to finally see and hear a demo of the Pro 800 from someone, who knows what he is doing! This thing seems to be a steal, but for me personally, it doesn't offer enough additional features to sell my vintage JX-3P for it. Granted, it has two envelopes, but I would miss having a high-pass filter.
@@spotlight-kyd I agree, but it also depends on individual needs for sounds. Each device helps you write music differently, unless you just dial presets. But I fully understand in more choices reducing your ability to just work.

Great as always @Behringer should use your VID as a PROMO Videos. So what's your opinion, is it better/worst than you thought ? Also, do you think is gonna blend nicely with the rest of the "family" PRO1 or Model D ? :)
I normally slag off Behringher for their practice of "copying old stuff but removing the soul" ... but this sounds great in it's own right and the price is right on 👍

This is how synth demos are done. I want to hear if the thing has musicality to it as opposed to a box that just make buzzing noises. Mine is backordered so it's just a matter of time.
@@intriguedviewer501 Nobody has them in stock, but Sweetwater in the U.S., Anderson in the U.K, and Thomann in Germany and a few other music shops have had them on pre-order for a month or so. the next pre-order stock in due around now or in a few weeks. but if you want one you have pre-order and wait until the next batch is due in another month or two's time.
HI, nice demo 😉 The POLY-MODE of Pro 800 the destination PW A is not present on the panel, it's limit for Pro 800 ? Is possible anyway emulate Prophet 5 sound without PW A destination or not ?
Interesting, when you're adjusting things it looks like the parameters are 0-1000 not 0-127, is this right? I noticed in the manual some of the cc commands have coarse and fine, this makes sense now. That's great if so, wishing I'd pre ordered now!
Awesome! How do you use an expression pedal with it (to control something like cutoff for instance)? My midi keyboard has an expression pedal input, but the pro 800 just treats it as a sustain pedal, same case when I connect the exp pedal to the footswitch input on the pro 800 itself
I will for sure keep my Rev2. It has double the voices, can be made binaural, and covers looooads of more ground than this. But I will add this to my collection for sure. For under 400, it is a no-brainer!
The only reason to sell a Tev 2 for this is if you don’t non ow how to program and take advantage of the modulation capabilities in the Rev 2. It blows the doors off the 800. Not to mention the bi-timbrality, layering and sequencing of the Rev. 2. The price point and feature set of the 800 are still a great value. Just ordered one and I think it’ll fit nicely next to the Rev 2.😊
@@Systemv1 I just saw another video of a guy cycling thru patches playing with the tuning. I don't have one yet but it looks like more demos are popping up here.
