Please note: the cord lengths in the description will prevent wasted cord. The video says 400cm but you can use 400cm only on the outer 8 cords for the pattern and 350cm for the centre to save some cord. I hope that makes sense :)

❤
pink
I'm from India I'd like a natural
Love this. Defo going to give it a go.
Could you show a picture of your workspace set up please. I am a newbie and finding working flat difficult. Thanks in advance ❤
Thanks Lisa :)
Yes working flat is really hard on your back!
I use an easel and you can see this in my video studio.ruclips.net/user/video1daVd9vZnxA/edit
The good ones can be quite expensive so keep an eye out for specials. I got mine from Aldi ... it was originally I think about $130 AU and they discounted it a couple of times and I got it for $29.95 ... best bargain ever!
The reason you need to get a good one is that they are heavy, so wont fall over, they are adjustable and have caster wheels. If you get a cheap one you will probably regret it and end up getting a good one later.
I hope that helps :)
@@macramewithlilly thank you that 8s really helpful.

Muchas gracias por compartir esto :) Me alegra saber que te gusta :)
My bag is not stiff enough to be straight at the top.
Not bothered about the couloir just love the bag
Lucky we don't have to choose and can have them all! :)
Me gustaría ver más tuturiales
Sí, yo también :)
Thank you for your video. Could you tell me the dimension of the bag at the end? Thank you again.
You are welcome. The finished bag should be 8-9 inches wide and 7-8 inches high depending on the cord you use and the tension. That's 20-22cm wide and 18-20cm high. I hope that helps 😊
Gorgeous bags😍
Thank you so much! 😊
will certainly try this
Thanks for watching :)
Could you tell me the size of the bag?
I wanna know how much space will be present

Hi. Thank you for the tutorial. However can you please clarify if it is 450 cms or 400cms. Description says 350 and caption says 400.
Hi, apologies for the confusion. I originally said 400cm .. and can't change the caption on the video ... someone complained that there is too much wasted cord so I amended it to 350cm in the description. I will pin a post to try to make it clearer for viewers. Thanks for the comment :)
I made it, i really love to made it ❤
Thank you so much for telling me 🥰🤗
@@macramewithlilly I want to give you one challenge. To made macrame cradle .
@@user-xt7no2xy6b Do you mean for a baby?
@@macramewithlilly yes
I made this bag, and it turned out beautifully. However, in spite of increasing the length of the bag and also adding to the front flap design, there was a lot of cord wasted in the end as small cuttings. Cord lengths need to be much smaller than defined...
Thanks for the comment. I will make another one and revise the cord length accordingly
Thankyou. I'm sure it will help other beginners😊
Hi. So how much should be the deduction from the original length?
May I know the size of the yarn? This is so pretty 🥰😍😍
Thank you so much! The cord is 4mm and all the lengths are in the description :)
@@macramewithlilly thank you so much 💕 will be grabbing materials today 🥰🥰
What yarn and size are you using? Thanks.
100% twisted cotton macrame cord in 4mm 😊
Love it and like
Can you please tell me how much mètres the whole bag needs?
It's about 92 meters all together so a 100 meter or 109 yard roll will be enough :)
@@macramewithlilly thank you so much 😊 I’m gonna make it now …. Beautiful bags
In which order all the 20 cord have to insert in 180 cm cord?
4 x 400cm then 12 x 350cm then 4 x 400cm. The 400cm cords are on the outside for the pattern. Thanks for the question :)
How much macrame cord do you need to make this and what length do you cut the cords?
The cord lengths are in the description
Hermoso ❤️
Gracias 🥰
Thank you so much for the tutorial mam. How to choose the right macrame for different projects mam like twisted or single thread etc. New subscriber from India❤
Hi there, thanks for the comment. I personally like to use single thread for anything I want to fray and comb like tassels and twisted for more structured projects. Single thread will often be softer but not always. I prefer 100% cotton. I hope that helps. Thanks for watching :)
I meant how much cord in meters ? Thank you 🙏
Length of the final strap plz
The length of mine is 120cm or 1 1/3 yards but you should do it to suit you. I suggest measuring you favourite handbag strap length and go by that. Thanks for watching :)
My bag is not enough stiff to be be straight at the top.
Did you use 4mm cotton cord? If so, your tension may be too loose
What is the name of this thread
I'm sorry, I tried google translate but don't understand the question. Can you re-phrase?
What is the name of this thread
@@Priyanka______chauhan It is 100% cotton 4mm macrame cord. 3 strand. But you should be able to use any 4mm macrame cord you like. Check out the links to buy cord on Amazon :)
