Great video, but Ronnie, always add wet to dry. No lumps that way. Make a hollow in the dry mix, pour some wet into it and mix. When that is incorporated, do it again. Its the official pro way of doing things lol.
There's something cool about watching an outdoorsman cooking in the outdoors... but, moreso, taking it seriously to make it a bit intricate and delish.
Hay Ronnie great stuff man just a tip always add your wet to the dry mix this make a past then add more wet mix doing it this way stops you getting lumps of flour
Awesome vids Ronny! I love cooking and camping cooking is just something else. I got 2 tips for anyone cooking out there. 1. If can use butter - i usually take lurpak spreadable, it's in a box, taste great, can use in cooking or on toast 2. when cooking and you getting swarmed by flies, just scramble 1-2 eggs and throw it out (I am sorry for throwing food) say half a meter from where you cooking, most flies will go to that while you cook , eat in peace. Only done it once by accident when missus flip the plate with eggs on it.. had to remake her brekkie but all flies around us went to the eggs on the ground.... im yet to confirm this theory... Having meals preped / precut at home is absolutely best thing you can do.
Hey :) I made your Bush Potato Omelette but I forgot to put in some corn, peas, salt and pepper. Anyway, it was very tasty! :D This meal was the first meal that I made so fast - I saw it in the internet and I did it! :)
Ronny absolutely loved your video fantastic food. Absolutely lost it with the cordless drill and the chainsaw. Thanks for everything mate. Had a you beaut sleep last night in my new Ryebuck swag thanks to your video cheers mate
My first comment here on your channel. Although I do not own a truck or anything that big, I wish to own one, one day. I tried the first dish you made and boy the folks at home loved it. Instead of whole potato, I sliced the potatoes used the slices as the base. Also just before putting in the sausages, I applied a bit of butter on the potato slices. Used 4 eggs. Love your Rig. We just have the Toyota Fortuner here from that stable. India is not a country of very big vehicles. Mostly hatches and sedans.
proper breakies to set you up for the day. just a small tip for the flies, leave a bit of what you're eating just away from you. the flies soon get bored of you swatting them and head for the bit you have left to the side, worked for me. thanks for the video
Love the meals. they are great and give me ideas. Why ot make your own flat bread for the raps? Simple and easy to do especially with the premix bottle idea.
Hello from Canada! We would never dump water from potatoes onto the ground. Bears have an amazing sense of smell, and they will come check out any new food smells. Great food, have fun!
Bashed out the omelette and the wraps on a recent trip in lane pool reserve along the fawcett track. Definite crowd pleasers, top work mate, glad to hear you'll be focusing 100% on the channel too. Already love it so where do we go from here?!?!
Love these videos mate! They remind me of videos made by the late and great Malcolm Douglas. He was the king of the bush! Can't wait to get over to WA and explore that beautiful countryside. Thanks for the video mate!
I would use left over fire baked potatoes from the previous night for the eggs and sausage. Carrying fresh potatoes cuts down on tin and water weight and reduces pack out trash.
Did you not warm the tortillas? Do that before you make a breakfast burrito, you'll be thankful. I just use the same pan I cooked the meal in and a few seconds on each side makes them soft and chewy and are less likely to crack and split. I just make them at home and wrap them in foil for the trip. Stick them on a skillet for a few minutes each side and done! (I'm lazy in the morning)
watching it in a middle of the night is not so fun at all cuz your foods is yummy Ronny, 2 thumbs up for an excellence work mate (Y) (Y) Besides that it could be better if you could do it in a proper meals for 2-3 days trip like what to have on breakfast then lunch then dinner. Cheers
Good simple meal to make is anything foil packeted really. Especially fish. Just season it in the foil, wrap it up, bury it in the coals and let it cook.
Cracking video once more! Got a lid for my pan, don't see many pans with lids it seems. Most people pass comment when they see it but it works a treat. I'm normally cooking on an open fire so keeping ash and stuff out of my food is necessary. Quick note to folks who might not of cooked on an open fire, stuff cooks bloody fast. I'm also a big fan of self raising flour with cinnamon in my pancakes and bring a pot of squeezy honey ;-)
Meal 1 : Add Sopp / mushrooms. Meal 2 : Danish - Kardemomme. English is spelled Cardamom. Good to see you supporting the Danish dairy industry. What next ?? Tulip bacon and Gammel Dansk ? Meal 3 : Add Challotte / Spring onion and or hvitløk '/ garlic. And Jarlsberg cheese.
Ronny! Great vid. Reason I'm commenting is because I have the same cooker, but on a recent 9 day trip for the life of me I couldn't get the LPG hose that came in the box to let gas through. It didn't seem to fit into the cookers regulator adapter properly. How on earth have you got it rigged up? I was fortunate enough to have a mate with me with plenty of Butane!! Keep up the good work mate!
+Weekend Warrior we use an adapter to step down from the bigger fitting down to the smaller one. $5 part. The steel hose goes into the side as if you are using the disposable cans but the rubber hose goes into that and to the adapter then to the bottle. Does that answer your question? Will be doing a review on it sometime soon as well which might help you.
Gotta add this Ronnie... A mate told me about his friend in their group they used to call "Backfatter". When asked why... they said that when he went away on camping trips, he always came back fatter! LMFAO!!!!
I have regularly used eggs on their own up to 2 weeks old when camping in the heat, and that’s un-refrigerated. Over 3 weeks old and they can go through you so that’ll be an indicator they’re not so good anymore.
Hey RonnyD, Ive never brought precracked eggs on the trail before. Any issues even if you are keeping them in the cooler? Also, Ive done the breakfast omelet with tater tots instead of potatoes and included peppers too, awesome breakfast. Definitely, whatever you can pre-prepare is a huuuuge timesaver. Great vid!
Had me laughing at your mixer, as my dad done the same with an more powerful electric cord drill with an new paint mixer to make an large batch of peanut butter cookies then burning up the mixer.
Very nice Ronny. I'm more of an all day breakfast kinda bloak myself when out in the woods camping. Wife hates having baked beans for breakfast, lol.

I love the egg in a bottle trick. Very cool. Cheers Moose.
With that much food I'd go with a cast iron griddle/grill, but the foil does work pretty good. Love the recipes!
Head over to @onshore_offshore for more camp cook action!
Never even thought about baby potatoes in a can for camping! The old Weet-bix can only go so far when on long trips. Keep up the good work Ronny.
Great video, but Ronnie, always add wet to dry. No lumps that way.
Make a hollow in the dry mix, pour some wet into it and mix. When that is incorporated, do it again. Its the official pro way of doing things lol.
nothing beats a cooked brekky. and I like the idea of the potato with the omlet. make it more filling.
Like the idea of pre-mixing eggs before setting out. Square bottles take up less room than round ones in the fridge.
There's something cool about watching an outdoorsman cooking in the outdoors... but, moreso, taking it seriously to make it a bit intricate and delish.
I can recommend if you wanted a bit more flavour add a small amount of sweet chilli to the omelette mix.
MrUltguy good idea, but it should be hot New Mexico Red or Green Chile. Sweet chilli/chili is just paprika...no use man. lol
MrUltguy peppers are an awesome way to season food in the bush, and you don’t have to worry about bring bottles back home
Hay Ronnie great stuff man just a tip always add your wet to the dry mix this make a past then add more wet mix doing it this way stops you getting lumps of flour

..and then a black bear found the eggs you threw on the ground and ate your entire family. The end.
Leave it to an Aussie to find a way to have beer in his breakfast.
Hey :)

Nice Lurpak butter, my dad used to make that when he was still living in Denmark.
Ronny absolutely loved your video fantastic food. Absolutely lost it with the cordless drill and the chainsaw. Thanks for everything mate. Had a you beaut sleep last night in my new Ryebuck swag thanks to your video cheers mate

+Shobhit Mathur nice glad to hear you tried it. The pan cakes are even better 😉
Ronny Dahl, yes the third dish tonight for dinner.

That plastic box foil dispenser is cool - got the details of it - small things amuse small minds lol
Thankyou for the egg bottle idea!
I thought it was cool as well...
Thanks Ronny! Another top quality camping video. Now I'm starving for some breakfast :)

Hello from Canada! We would never dump water from potatoes onto the ground. Bears have an amazing sense of smell, and they will come check out any new food smells. Great food, have fun!
That's something you don't think about in Australia. No predators in the bush here (mainly wearing suits in the city)!
Great job Ronny, will definitely be trying those!
Head over to @onshore_offshore for more camp cook action!
Turn it out on to a plate then slide back into ur pan topside down and the will do the tope for u, thank for sharing it tips, stay safe xx

Yeah Malcolm was great. There was an old bush artist named Jack Absolom who did similar stuff back in the 80s too.
I would use left over fire baked potatoes from the previous night for the eggs and sausage. Carrying fresh potatoes cuts down on tin and water weight and reduces pack out trash.
Pre mixed at home, eggs and baked beans, goes well in frypan or jaffle.

Mmmm!! Gonna have to try the last one even though I don't go camping!! LOL!!
Your taste testers are enthusiastic 😳
I do love your content. Can I ask where did u get that spoon. Did u cut out the slots or buy it like that.

How long do the eggs last once you bottle them and put them in the fridge please?

Ronny I lost my shit when the chainsaw came out to cut the sausage....good one man XD
Meal 1 : Add Sopp / mushrooms.

AWESOME VIDEOS GUYS! Oh and where do you guys buy your hats? Can you put a link for them?

Gotta add this Ronnie... A mate told me about his friend in their group they used to call "Backfatter". When asked why... they said that when he went away on camping trips, he always came back fatter! LMFAO!!!!
I know this is a bit off topic but, what drone do you use?
What stove is that? Looks very flash.
How long can eggs stay good in the bottle if you go camping?
6 days is the longest I've left them so far
I have regularly used eggs on their own up to 2 weeks old when camping in the heat, and that’s un-refrigerated. Over 3 weeks old and they can go through you so that’ll be an indicator they’re not so good anymore.
I saw you in Albany yesterday ronny, rig looking mean, great stuff!
Shitposting extreme

The banana looks amazing Ronny! More cooking vids please 😀😀😀😀

This is basically real cooking just in the outdoors.
