Excellent message, not one I’ve heard in a very long time. Today’s Church is so apostate, that it has no resemblance to the church Jesus died for. The church today feeds people, entertains them, provides friendship, has many programs, but the people are starving. Time to take responsibility for your own soul!

I second the same, not an issue at all for such reverence in a sermon. This is what the church has lost, this kinda reverence, this abundant fear of an almighty God. The humility of this man blows my cap right off almost fighting for breath and with every word blasts the truth with all he has, amazing!

Great sermon, "repented of what we are" had to give a lot of thought to this, it is deep.

Hi , wasn't it our LORD that said the harvest is plentiful but then laborers are few. Pray therefore that the lord of the harvest sends out laborers.

Understanding this as a new believer was huge! I had a wonderful mentor who had lots of time to teach and disciple. I never learned this growing up in church. I thought it was just the deeds we did. But Jesus said it's "out of the heart", which is why we need to be born-again. To be made a new creation in Christ Jesus.(2 Cor 5:17)

2 Ti 4:2-5 Preach the word; be instant in season, out of season; reprove, rebuke, exhort with all longsuffering and doctrine. For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but after their own lusts shall they heap to themselves teachers, having itching ears; And they shall turn away their ears from the truth, and shall be turned unto fables. But watch thou in all things, endure afflictions, do the work of an evangelist, make full proof of thy ministry.
I class Richard Ownes in the style of A.W Tozer - among others, who still today allow the Holy Spirit to work through them, regardless of delivering offense in the preachings. Rather listen to these kinds of sermons, what hurts now may just save your life from eternal damnation. Don't settle for soothers and pleasers.

I have never been convicted of my root since as I have been from hearing this Godly man giving The Word of God. So many preachers and teachers wash over sin instead of handing the people to dig the root out. Glory to God.

This describes my “ Christian” life to a T. I finally realized it. Though I have repented 10 years, I have no forgiveness. I really was saved 50 years ago, but I was rebellious and my eyes were blind. I deeply desire to be w Jesus and apparently there is a point too far where God does turn away. I have deeply repented and am broken hearted for how I treated our precious Lord. All I have now is shame, regret, deep depression and anxiety. It hurts SO deeply I can hardly bare it. And I know all I have now is to look towards death and hell. Don’t let this happen to any of you!

Romans 10:9-10 That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.

I’m sorry you are wrong. You’re trusting your feelings trust the word of God. God‘s hand is reaching out to you right that is very moment. The fact that you feel the way you do is clearly indication that God is wanting to call you to continuous, consistent obedience, and
God bless you, strengthen you keep your eyes fixed on him, Prayer and the word and walking in obedience, we worship and spirit and in truth 🙏

Spiritually dead people don’t think the things you think. They’re not concerned with the things of God. Jesus turns away no one who comes to Him.

The reason for the decline of the sensitivity of the hearts of people in church is as follows.
The words spoken by Jesus Christ Himself are not just words but His commands for us to follow. This is not my opinion. This is His opinion in John chapter 12 verses 47 and 48. And also supported by Acts chapter 3 verses 22 and 23, no one can be saved outside of Jesus spoken commands.
There is a Satanic cult within the church, called dispensationalism, which denies Christ’s spoken commands and calls Saul of Tarsus an apostle when he’s not, and indirectly their saviour when he’s not.

no. This Richard Owen Roberts is not even of the same denomination. He began as a Congregationalist. Oral Roberts was Pentecostal. His son 'Richard (Lee) Roberts' is currently age 74. The fellow preaching in this audio is well into his 80's, possibly close to 90 now as this recording was made many years ago in 2014.
