  • At this time 10 years ago we had just released our flagship study, Behold Your God: Rethinking God Biblically. To celebrate a decade of the Lord’s blessing on this study, we are releasing the complete interviews from the project. Some men sat down with us for slightly over 30 minutes. Richard Owen Roberts gave us nearly two hours of his time.
Because we have such a wealth of answers from him, we are presenting to you part two of our interview with him. During this segment, we ask him questions regarding the use of Scripture to gain a clear understanding of Christ and our holiness, and how we can pursue holiness in our day.

I heard a guy yesterday say that God understands that telling a lie is necessary. I told him that God hates lying and will always hate it, etc. Then I lied to a woman to get her to take her medication because she was refusing earlier. I realized how unprepared I am. I love this interview that reminds me to go to the Bible to be that witness not remain this hypocrite. Love this channel and the content!

    Very powerful message! Thank you!
This brings to mind the verse: Ephesians 5:14 “Wherefore he says, Awake you that sleep, and arise from the dead, and Christ shall give you light.”

What a beautiful opening, the story of your first meeting with Mr. Roberts!
In a sense, we are so blessed in this evil age to be able to have at our fingertips, such Godly men from the past to learn from.

I absolutely agree with you sir, it is so difficult to have a biblical intellectual conversation with so many people that profess to know God.

Wow, just refreshing I must say! The essential presence of God, The manifest presence of God, and The cultivate presence of God. The modern mega churches doesn’t know anything about this which’s so necessary, because without a proper understanding of the God of the Bible there’s just the Santa Claus God which’s so prevalent in most of Christianity today.

That is too true. But that has been the case for a long time. We can see evidence of these things in the Old Testament people of Israel as well. It is a strategy the enemy has used to great effect. We pray for a true revival, a drawing near of God's presence to our lives, our nation, and our world.
