- It's been ages since I uploaded anything other than WW2 so I thought I'd edit my favourite scene from any James Bond movie, the epic naval crews breakout from the holds of The Liparus in 'The Spy Who Loved Me' (1977).

Ah, I've been expecting you Mr Forster! No I don't want you to talk, I expect you to DIEEEEE! (evil laugh) Well that left me quite shaken, but not stirred, OK puns over. Yes a very hot action sequence, lots of hot young men in tight red boiler suits running around shooting sub machine guns and getting riddled with bullets, What 'MOORE' can we ask for? I loved it when the camera panned up the metal stairway with all the dead bodies strewn everywhere, so hot! I must get one of those boiler suits, the one where all the little bullet holes suddenly appear. Thanks for posting bud, you gotta love Bond. YESSSHHH! oh that was Connery, OPPS! ;-)
LOL! Yes, those Stromberg crew uniforms are very 1970s (orange/red for one thing lol) but they do have a certain something about them, especially when seen in action like this! I'm not a huge Bond fan but this is one movie I really did enjoy and I think it was Moore's best outing by far as JB, and the closest he ever got to matching Connery (and perhaps he surpassed him in this one?). You gotta love those sailor boys in soldier-like action eh, giving those goons a good going over and more?! Many thanks for the comment again bud, puns 'n' all (which I love!). I am beaming here still!
@@foreverblueclassics My favourite Bond action theme , it has the real funky 1970's groove. ruclips.net/video/PGvk2DXxIGE/видео.html
@@BREENEY Cool! The Carly Simon theme is in my top 3 Bond themes, 2nd only to 'You Only Live Twice' and just ahead of 'Goldfinger'.
@@foreverblueclassics The Carly Simon theme is my favourite, followed by you only live twice and the instrumental On her Majesty's secret service. I'm also a big fan of composer John Barry. BTW the young officer who said "Leave it to me sir!" he and his men took their bullets well ;-)
@@BREENEY Yes, 'OHMSS' is a great theme, and the movie's not bad either. John Barry was a fabulous composer with the theme from 'The Persuaders' my favourite. The Lt and his men sure did take their doze of hot lead spectacularly well, and so good of the officer to be wearing a white shirt for the occasion lol.
The Liparus submarine pen is one of the coolest sets in any Bond movie.
Indeed it is! Great movie too!
The volcano lair is a great one aswell
Wonder how many stuntmen/extras were U.S/British/Soviet crew members and Liparus troops. Superb set and sequence.
For me this and the Fort Knox battle in 'Goldfinger' are the best. Also the prison break in 'Goldeneye'
@@foreverblueclassics I love GoldenEye intro too.
Sean Bean/006 and Pierce Brosnan/007 are a great pair: ruclips.net/video/dLF3XDHKm9Y/видео.html
Yes, it's an excellent film, and by far the best of the Brosnan movies.
Ahh the yellow mini moke, perhaps the least threatening henchmen’s vehicle of all time
😁
Hopefully your video will be online for a long time: mine version was blocked. So much action in that movie. James Bond old style! Thank you.
Thank you Gary! Yes, it is a test to see if it remains. To be honest I'm past caring with RUclips and they can do what they want. I like this scene so I posted it :-)
My favourite bond scene along with Goldfinger Fort Knox.
Those are my two favourite scenes also!
Something else important 3:54 in and onwards. In the background you see the sailors take surrendering Liparus troops alive and march them away like Prisoners of War. Rules of war being observed there.
Of course. British and American (and probably Russian) military men would not shoot surrendering prisoners, though I'm aware it has happened at times when taking prisoners is not possible.
Stromberg needs to take a page from Hank Scorpio's playbook.
😁
Sean Bury is the handsome man that says Leave it to me sir. He was in Friends 1971 and sequel Paul and Michelle. Great actor! Friends was written and directed by Lewis Gilbert! Lewis also directed three Bond movies! Spy Who Loved Me being one !
The guy who says "leave it to me sir" is Kim Fortune, but Sean Bury was indeed in this movie as one of the Ranger crewmen.
mmmm bene video😀Roger moor per sempre😉😉😉😉😉
Yes, he is sadly missed!
Americans, British and Soviets teaming up together to fight a common foe, when did this last happen? 🤣🤣
WW2?!

6:19 Did he survive?
No, he's toast!
How did he keep quiet whilst on fire? My husband said he would of been screaming.
@@gina7288 Probably excess shock! Sometimes the body is so shocked 😲 that it goes into "lockdown" like the brain 🧠 shuts off!
@@tanktank3874 Your probably right I had to look away when he was on fire and expected a "Aaaaaarrrrrgh" but my husband screamed for him he just said he would of been screaming if he was on fire another one that made me cringe was the sailor @2:07 getting riddled with bullets..... Poor lad.
@@gina7288 Ummm, did you feel sorry for the bad guys lol?
Hi ! How are you?
I am OK, and I hope you are too!
foreverblueclassics Thank for your reply . I’m fine too and most of Cambodian people are fine. We have only 114 cases .

Classic Tanker War Scene in The Spy Who Loved Me with Roger Moore / Shane Rimmer / Kim Fortune
This scene and the attack on Fort Knox in 'Goldfinger' are my two favourite action scenes in any Bond movie. Also the prison escape in 'Goldeneye'.
@@foreverblueclassics What about the volcano attack base in You Only Live Twice?
@@ouissam2502 Yes, that's pretty good too!
