Game Night Movie Description:
Max and Annie's weekly game night gets kicked up a notch when Max's brother Brooks arranges a murder mystery party -- complete with fake thugs and federal agents. So when Brooks gets kidnapped, it's all supposed to be part of the game. As the competitors set out to solve the case, they start to learn that neither the game nor Brooks are what they seem to be. The friends soon find themselves in over their heads as each twist leads to another unexpected turn over the course of one chaotic night.
Game Night is a 2018 American action comedy film directed by John Francis Daley and Jonathan Goldstein and written by Mark Perez. It stars Jason Bateman and Rachel McAdams and follows a group of friends whose game night turns into a real-life mystery after one of them is kidnapped. The film's supporting cast includes Billy Magnussen, Sharon Horgan, Lamorne Morris, Kylie Bunbury, Jesse Plemons, Michael C. Hall, and Kyle Chandler.
Warner Bros. Pictures released the film on February 23, 2018. It was a commercial and critical success, grossing $117 million worldwide and receiving praise for its originality, humor, script, and performances. Plemons was nominated for the Detroit Film Critics Society Award for Best Supporting Actor.

in the binge ive gone on since then this dude has watched soooo many movies that just take me back to memories of a different time in my life. from my damn near childhood like scary movie. i mean, scary movie 1 came out a few months after i turned 10 lol. (ps that movie just turned 24 years old on july 7th wtf did the time go)
My son and I saw this in the theater and we were completely alone. We kicked our feet up, laughed as loud as we wanted, and had a great time.
The homage to Pulp Fiction absolutely killed both of us.

Before that he was in Six Feet Under which his family runs a funeral home in LA.
As for him being a vampire he was sort of one in Justice League: Gods & Monsters from the DC animated films.

My current favorite game is Here to Slay. It’s a fantasy card game where the goal is to either get one of each kind of character in your party (ranger, fighter, wizard, etc.) or kill 3 monsters before the other players. All of the characters are adorable animals. Ex: Fighters are bears, wizards are rabbits.

This was the first movie I saw Jesse Plemons (Gary) in. He played this character so creepy but so well. Anytime I see him in another film, I can not help but think of this character. But he is truly a great actor, I can't wait to see him in "Killers of The Flower Moon."
I love this movie. Another good movie that follows this kinda of wacky shenanigans is Date Night with Steve Carell & Tina Fey

Dexter is a serial killer with a certain set of rules that he kills by, it’s a very good show & they even have a new show
Some other comedies you should check out that deserve more attention are Blockers (John Cena is hilarious in it), This is Where I leave(Very heart felt and the cast is impressive), Me, Myself and Irene (Jim Carrey movie), and Mike and Dave Need Wedding Dates (Adam Devine and Zac Efron are a hilarious duo). There also a few really good horror comedies like The Blackening, Little Shop of Horrors, Dead Alive, Gremlins and Gremlins 2, and Killer Klowns from Outer Space
I’d also recommend Chronicle. Pretty interesting thriller if you like found footage

I haven’t seen anyone else react to this & this is one of my favorites that I initially didn’t expect to make me laugh as hard as I did. TAG is another fun watch based on a real group of friends.
You have to watch Loki season 2. It is amazing. You will love it and people will love to watch you watch it. It is somehow way better than the first season even thought the first season was amazing. Do you think you will watch it, you could do it as a quick marathon now that it is all out?

I don't really do game nights or play non-verbal games anymore but I have loved Cards Against Humanity. You really get to know people, especially your friends parents. LOL
Favorite boad for game night: Pandemic. The game is co-op, so you're not playing against each other, you're playing against the game itself. The reason it works so well is that you can modulate the difficulty based on the number of Outbreak cards there are in the deck. As well, since it's co-op, that one guy who isn't competitive (Every group has at least one of these guys), they don't have just do random crap, and for players who aren't as good at the game, the rest of the players can help them without taking away from the game itself.

I had to drag my hubby to this movie (I'm the board gamer in the family) and he was shocked at how funny it was. We watch it annually now. :)
