I made one this spring. "Garden Party" I call it. Made with many thrift store scrap fabrics. Many pretty fabrics. I'm doing another one that is extremely scrappy! Marion
Sounds like my kind of quilt, Marion! Floral fabrics are a favorite of mine - the scrappier the better. Thanks so much for watching! Happy Quilting, Lea Louise
You have definitely inspired me! I have to make a quick quilt for a baby shower and I think this web perfect! I always enjoy your videos! Your tutorials are always easy to follow! Thank you for sharing!❤
Absolutely, Kirby! The advantage of using lots of different fabrics in a quilt is how versatile it can be. Depending on the fabrics you include changes its look so much. Have fun making your own! Happy Quilting, Lea Louise
Thanks so much, Glenda! The best part is I'm creating more scraps for my stash as I make a quilt like this. It's a bit of a creative circle of quilting! Sure appreciate you watching. Happy Quilting, Lea Louise
They are such fun to make, Lisa! I love quilt with lots going on that you don't even know where to look first. 😊😂🤣 Thanks for watching! Happy Quilting, Lea Louise
That's the fun of sharing quilts, Kim! Fabric is the inspiration for making a quilt and it gets me too excited not to completely enjoy it together. For me quilting is about color. Explaining how it works in fabrics helps us all be more creative with our quilting. Thanks for watching! Happy Quilting, Lea Louise
Cutting multiple layers of fabric to then mix up isn't a method for everyone. I share this as it's a favorite way of mine to combine lots of fabrics in a quilt and achieve some balance throughout. It's definitely not for everyone as it depends on your personal quilting style. Thanks so much for watching! Happy Quilting, Lea Louise
You're right, Cecilia. That's why quilting is fun for so many different individuals! We can all do our own thing yet also appreciate what others do, too. Creativity is a beautiful thing! Thanks so much for watching. Happy Quilting, Lea Louise
Love this idea perfect for the charity lap quilts I'm doing!!!
Yay MS Lea you are awesome!!🙏🙏❤

Great pattern. Anxious to make this quilt. Great donation quilt
A great idea for a charity quilt, especially to burn through some mismatched fabrics or make "I Spy" for kids

That was really confusing.
The demo on how to mix the fabric to make it scappy? Not everyone's style works for everyone 😊😉

Watch it twice or more, then it starts to make sense.
