I owned a 100% CIB snes collection. Every poster, reg card, etc. 300ish sealed games.
After sitting on it for over a decade I sold most of it. No regrets. It felt amazing unloading it.
Your perspective on collecting is healthy. Enjoy the hunt and organizing your gameroom. If you decide you don’t need over 1,000 games, you’ll be able to get your money back and possibly make a profit.
Nice video. And great quote at the end!

If you can't sell the games, you are either asking too much, or you aren't trying hard to sell them. You could easily take your collection to almost any retro game store, and they would buy them, or post them for sale yourself on Ebay, Facebook Marketplace, Offer Up, or any of the other selling platforms.

The Switch has become my favorite console of all time. I’m 40 and I’ve played since I was 6, and although it’s hard to argue with nostalgia, the amount of games I’ve played and enjoyed on the Switch has probably doubled what I’ve played on older consoles. Yes, some of my favorite games of all time are on other consoles, but the Switch has like 30+ games I own that have been amazing. The Xenoblade series alone has become my favorite series of all time. This collection is awesome to see, and obviously dwarfs my collection of like 40 games lol.

Y fíjate del momento que saca directamente juegos de la estantería y saco Fate Samurai o el Deadly Premoniton… los tengo, sentí que mi colección es más grande 😂

I'm so glad you posted this video and the algorithm picked it up and brought me to your channel. As a Switch collector myself, I really like watching collection videos, but the vast majority of them are just people holding up their games one by one into the camera and saying either "great game, really enjoyed it" or "I'll get to it one day" for an hour, then the video ends. I really liked how you talked about your collecting journey as a whole, your goals, collecting preferences and overall feelings about the Switch as a console. I would've really liked to have seen more highlights from your collection, like your favourite games or genres or games that you acquired in a memorable way, kind of like how Metal Jesus did his Switch collection video 3 years ago, but hey - maybe that can be an idea for another day. Thanks for sharing and all the best with your collection 🙂

All the switch is really missing is an achievement system. I know there are some sort of collection system in many various games but it should be an achievement system attached to your Nintendo account aswell.

I have been wanting to buy a Switch for forever, but my financial situation prevented me from doing so. I'm looking to change that soon, even with a potential Switch 2 on the horizon. 😂 Videos like these help me decide on what games there are available. Sick collection!

It is funny that we share the same choice for the best system in our heart, the n64, and the real best system ever so far, the switch.
PS: I love snipper clips too. So funny multi players game. So underrated.

Collecting games is addictive... like you don't want to miss any one game. You just want to have a 'complete' list. The only problem about collecting games is you really need to have a very large space to store every game. Sometimes you will take all the room space that you don't know where to store them. I stopped collecting after I ran out of cupboard space. Can only buy selective game...only can buy those block busters or 5 stars games. No longer buying all games.

Great collection! I’ve also found the Switch to be one of the best consoles to collect for. So many unique titles and great games you’ll never find anywhere else.
I’m currently at 1140. Don’t worry I’ll never post a RUclips video. I do have almost all the Super Rare and Limited Run stuff. I’ve found that those can go crazy $$ if you miss the wrong one. Looks like you’ve got a lot more boxed/collectors editions though.
Just like you, I wish I had more time to play them all.

Absolutely inspiring. You've put into words the joy of collecting that a lot of people just don't really understand. You can enjoy your collection in more ways than just playing the games. (but it's nice to be able to do that too)

I grew up w/ my original NES and I LOVE my Switch. I'm primarily a PC gamer these days, but the Switch is the only console that I currently have and I'm constantly finding GREAT games to play... I don't count my X Box One S because that's my 4k DVD player... Awesome video and great insight into the console!

I have a large switch collection also. I have just over half of your wall. I haven't played every game yet either. I am also getting a lot of hate from my pictures of my collection. No one has personally seen my collection.
Most people I know trade in their systems and games for new systems and games. I just say whatever. To each its own. When I feel like playing my old games, I have them to play. I am not wishing that I didn't sale my old consoles and games like a lot of people who are in full regret that they sold their old games and consoles.
I have all of my consoles and games from the Atari 2600 all the way through up to now except I had my Sega Genesis games only stolen from a storage unit. I didn't know they were in there until I started looking for them. About 20 other units were also broken into but, all I had was clothes and furniture in my unit and the games.
I haven't tried to recollect the Genesis games. At the time that I was going to try, they were just way too expensive. I don't know about today. This happened 20 years ago. I swear that I will never rent another storage unit. Everything now is in my house. Losing my Sega games was devastating. Never trusting another storage unit facility again.
They did nothing about the stolen property from 21 different storage units and neither did the police. They told everbody that there was nothing they could about it. They could not identify the thieves. Never renting another storage unit again.

Nintendo went from having a system with almost no games (Wii U) to a system with a library so large that RUclipsrs are competing with each other to see who has the biggest collection

I know of a few collections bigger than this (I myself am sitting on 1500+ switch games), but I think you can fairly claim the biggest collection on youtube. I fell in love with the switch library from the start - no other console comes close in terms of physical indie releases, and re-releases of hidden gems from previous generations.

The Switch is such a fun system to collect for because there is such a huge amount of games for it and they are essentially all good quality games. Unlike Wii which was a bunch of shovelware.

Usually I think this sort of collections are illogical to have but in your case at least you own a gaming store so you always have that option to turn it into inventory for your store in the event you want to clear out some space in your home.
