    Honestly, seeing that you made this video over two years ago, and *then* seeing the “BSN, RN” in your name just motivated me so much. I can’t wait to finish 😭

    Love how you organize for the day! Definately going to learn and utilize that day sheet you created (identifying your RNs, pts, etc)! THANK YOU!

    Hi, what are the hours of day shifts as a pca and do the days you work vary?

    • @nurse_krizia
      @nurse_krizia  3 года назад

      Hey! When I worked it was per diem. It was a 12 hour shift 7AM-7PM. I also chose my own days and each month had to work at least a weekend

    Hi Krizia, thank you so much for making this video, it was so helpful! Did you need to get specific licenses to become a PCA? And did you get orientation before you started working?

    • @nurse_krizia
      @nurse_krizia  4 года назад +2

      Angela Do hey! The job requirements are listed when you apply. It’ll say that a nursing semester is required so all they would need is your transcripts. And yes I got ten 12 hour shifts of orientation before stating on my own.

    • @angelado8332
      @angelado8332 4 года назад

      @@nurse_krizia Oh okay that's great. So far, alot of them require a CNA license but I don't have time to do that. Would it just be a course of FUNDS or MedSurg 1?

    • @nurse_krizia
      @nurse_krizia  4 года назад +1

      Angela Do yes! After you take the first semester, you can also just take the CNA certification test, no classes required.
