Honestly, seeing that you made this video over two years ago, and *then* seeing the “BSN, RN” in your name just motivated me so much. I can’t wait to finish 😭

Hi Krizia, thank you so much for making this video, it was so helpful! Did you need to get specific licenses to become a PCA? And did you get orientation before you started working?
Angela Do hey! The job requirements are listed when you apply. It’ll say that a nursing semester is required so all they would need is your transcripts. And yes I got ten 12 hour shifts of orientation before stating on my own.
@@nurse_krizia Oh okay that's great. So far, alot of them require a CNA license but I don't have time to do that. Would it just be a course of FUNDS or MedSurg 1?

Love how you organize for the day! Definately going to learn and utilize that day sheet you created (identifying your RNs, pts, etc)! THANK YOU!
So informative thank you so much! I start as PCT at a hospital in one month for the first time and your video gave me great tips.
Congrats! I hope you’re enjoying it so far!
So helpful!
Good job baby
Do you have to be vaccinated?
Biggest challenges?
PCA is so much different on the floor than when I was a PCT in the ER before I was a RN
So true! I worked MedSurg as a PCT and now work in the ER and starting in the ER as an RN in June!
this was SO informative and helpful, thank you so much for sharing!!

Im a patient transport and I'll be a pca soon 😌
How are you able to go to school and work per diem? My bills could never 😩
Hi, what are the hours of day shifts as a pca and do the days you work vary?
Hey! When I worked it was per diem. It was a 12 hour shift 7AM-7PM. I also chose my own days and each month had to work at least a weekend
Great informative video! Question… is PCT the same as a CNA? I feel like your describing my job duties as a CNA
Thank you
what type of loan did you get to get started? I'm kind of lost. Thank you
Omg my nurses have up to 6 to 8 patients as a pct I get 11
Do you ever go to the nicu floor? Or is that the same as women and baby?
Great

Angela Do yes! After you take the first semester, you can also just take the CNA certification test, no classes required.
@@nurse_krizia ooh okay yay! thanks so much Krizia!
