Where I'm at, we take HESI's every semester for our finals. I know on them, we basically just use the Saunders book to review. I'm in my second semester and in Med/Surg 1. It's a 10 week semester with 135 clinical hours. Nobody really ever prepares for the work that is ahead for nursing school and not a lot of people understand. I just have to tell myself that it's only a year. I am so ready to have those letters attached to my name! I wish you the best of luck!

I graduated from FSU and was applying to UCF originally but this apparently was the most competitive semester yet and sadly i didn't get in. I am now applying to SCC/UCF for fall 2021 and i'm soooo excited! Your channel is awesome for me because i'm legit going through all the same things you did!! I have a 3.5 overall and prereq is 3.6, and I got an 85 on teas the first time I took it but im so anxious because of the competition and already getting rejected from UCF's absn and bsn programs. I might take it again but if i dont get in im gonna be devastated!!!

( 9:22 ) is done wrong and the patient is going to end up dead. because no proper CPR was done. Shoulders MUST be above hands and elbows MUST be in a locked position and the alignment between hands elbows and shoulders MUST be completely vertical. Elbows should NEVER be bent and your body MUST be positioned over the patient. You should NOT bounce on your feet as shown in this video. In the video you are 45° over the patient which will not give the patient proper CPR because all you are doing is bouncing and not doing actual CPR. Also your assistant banging the patient should have the patient's head straight and head tilted back 20° for proper bagging .

absolutely not! I actually had a nurse show me the appropriate way and this isn't helpful at all! You'll learn more during clinicals, hopefully the nurse will guide you along the way. You could go through the vein doing it this way! Hope this helps !

At 9:20 my School had those typa lungs displayed in the hall way. It was a smokers lung and a non smokers lung, and it stinks. The smell made me want to throw up. It was real pig lungs so it stank so bad. I wrote this before she talked about, oof.
