Congratulations! I've been watching you for a while. I just finished AGNP school in May of this year. From my experience, NP school was definitely worth it! I may not make the best pay, but the benefits and my sanity outweigh all of that. I work in Sexual Health. I diagnose and treat STDs and non-STD-related infections, and I do STD/HIV prevention through Doxy-PEP and PrEP. I work for my local county health department, which is considered a state office, so I get state benefits. No weekends, no call. I'm off EVERY holiday. I love what I do! I'm happy to go to work everyday! I don't regret it AT ALL!
@@lesliegardner9717 I make the same as I did working PRN as an RN. However, when I was working PRN as an RN, I had no benefits. I make the same, but I have benefits now 😂
@kensfaithnfitness6583 I love working at the health department. As I mentioned earlier, the benefits are great. I also have great coworkers and a supportive work environment. The only con is that the processes of the state move slowly, and all the paperwork you have to fill out for certain things like travel. Other than that, all pros for me.
@ thank you for replying I'm currently in school for my AGPCNP what do u think is the best route to making the most money and satisfaction from this Nurse practitioner degree ?
I’m in nursing school and still getting the hang of giving a good nurse report and i get so anxious. I couldn’t IMAGINE having to do the entire head to toe plan of care presentation for multiple patients for rounds??? Ohhhh my gosh ! Lol. But you did that!! Congratulations! I’m very excited for you !
I just got through my 1 semester of nurse school and you inspire me in so many ways, I’ve been watching you since you finished nursing school and I hope in the future I can be a NP as well. Hope you have the best year next year.
I've been watching since nursing school. I graduated in may 2020 and went straight into the nicu. I'm about to start my 3rd semester of NNP school in a full time (2yr program) and still working full time nights. I'm soo proud of you. You are such an inspiration to me!!! Please never change and don't quit making videos about the NNP life. I'll be watching. You're amazing!!!! Congratulations!!! 🎉🎉
Congrats, Alexis!! I’ve also been watching you since you graduated nursing school and it’s been so amazing watching you on this journey! I also just graduated with my MSN for my PNP and I’m so excited for this new NP journey!! Wishing you the best of luck!! 🥰

Thank you for all your nursing advice throughout the many years I have subscribed to your channel. 💕
Congratulations!!! I agree, Clinicals are brutal 😢 I am almost done with my adult-gerontology nurse practitioner program and let me tell you, the clinicals are STRESSFUL!! It shows you how much you don’t know 😅 my first clinical I use to cry on my drive the way to the clinic!! However it is worth it!!
Thank you for posting! I’ve been following you since before you switched to NICU! Im a 2 year NICU nurse and want to take the same path - so I can’t wait to see your posts about practicing as an NNP!!! Congratulations 🎊
I’m soooooo happy for you !!!!! Congratulations 🎉🎊!! You’ve helped me when I was getting my ADN and to see how far you came just fills my heart with joy ! God bless youuuuuuuuuu ❤

I’m so proud of you! Congratulations Nicole! ☺️I’ve seen you since day one I can’t imagine you doing anything else! Happy holidays and safe new years🎉❤
Thanks for sharing. I'm currently in school to get my FNP, and I completed my first clinical rotation last semester. It was a rough semester to get through, and It's nice to see someone who can relate to how I've been feeling. I finish my program later this year so wish me luck.
Congratulations!! I'm currently in my NP program and have decided to go the DNP route. I totally agree, the beginning of the program is way more digestible.
Congratulations!!! I was an ER nurse finished FNP in 12/23. Passed boards AANP 4/2024, decided I was going to travel for a bit to pay down debt and paid off 33K in 9 months. Now I'm finally in the job market for FNP and I'm getting a little discouraged because of pay and hours. I really don't want to work 5 days a week and I can't afford a pay cut. I've been an RN for 10 years, so I did pretty well when it comes to salary and now I feel like I have to start all over. Felling a little lost any words of encouragement would be much appreciated.
Congratulations! I’ve been following you since you were in nursing school ❤ You’re such an inspiration & thank you for bringing us along with you on your journey 🩺

I watched you since nursing school . I am an ER nurse almost 2 years in and it’s a crazy , stressful environment but I have learned so much and I have applied all this knowledge that I learned in nursing school to my real life duties as an RN . I also want to became a NICU nurse because I was a NICU mom and I really admire all those humans who work with babies . I would like to obtain my MSN in education and hopefully in a couple of years be ready to precept all the young nurses coming in .
You’re so pretty and hardworking I’m so proud of you and love seeing women enter into their bad bitch eras May god continue to bless u! Would you state that you need to have more experience before going to NP school? I was going to aim for two before I started. What’s youre opinion?
I haven't watched your videos in a long time. I started in 2018-19 when I was trying to get into nursing. Now I'm a qualified nurse, trying to get into medicine 💊. Slowly but surely

Are there any NICU hospital tech jobs that don’t require a certificate? Like a PCA at a NICU?
Congratulations

This is why you need 2 years of experience before you go to grad school.
I want to do the pmhnp certificate but it’s too stressful to think of going back
same. Im still undergraduate but I’ve always known that i want to stay in psych. Everyone says its over saturated though which discourages me at time.
congrats nurse nook!!!
What’s the name of the song or instrumental you used in the beginning?
Thanks for sharing! How did you know you wanted to be a neonatal NP even before going to nursing school?
