Yes I wanted metallic purple ..Im still waiting I put deposit down in Sept 2021 for a 2022 now they just wrote me and said another 2 months before they call me for options for my 2023 C8 ... so im not getting a 2022 and getting jacked 3k since prices went up 3k on all models so getting jacked for my patience , I heard they had 2 new colors so was hoping metallic purple but of course not at least that would've ben a cancelation prize for waiting

Great exterior, no black accents - PERFECT - rear with car color vents and top vent for the engine - Classy Ordered mine in Silver Flare - with out the black accents that break up the lines - No spoiler or wing either - am not buying a race or Track car - I rather the European Lambo look -

One day I was trying to merge into stopped traffic. My tint is so dark I rolled my window down and waved to get the attention of the drivers to ask nicely if they’d let me merge over. Again the traffic was at a complete stop but there was room for me to go; I just wanted to make sure I had the attention of the other drivers and permission. This woman in a pickup truck waved me in. I waved at her back to thank her. As I merged in, she accelerated!!!!!!! 😡 She ran right into my car. The police came as normal to write the report. I had 3 witnesses who told the cop they saw her wave me in and saw me ask. The cop told me I was at fault. I am an insurance adjuster so I know a cop does not determine liability. He didn’t take witness statements though and I ended up being placed at fault by my insurance. My front bumper had to be replaced. 😡 When I got out of my car after the accident this woman just sat there staring straight ahead as in a daze. I was yelling, “Why did you hit my car? I just bought this car! You said I could go!!!” I was irate so maybe that’s why she ignored me. She didn’t apologize. Didn’t look at me or say a word. I have no idea if she did it intentionally but from that day on when people wave for me to go NO MATTER WHAT, I do not go. I refuse to go unless it’s legally my turn. She didn’t claim any damage on her truck but mine was sure in the shop for a while. I was sooooo upset. Reading your comment, I had a flash back of this and my “baby!” I never thought maybe she was jealous but she did wave me and then purposely hit me-even had witnesses. So be careful. My car was paid off and I had insurance paid off in advance. I was so happy for being able to purchase my Covette but boy did this lady really mess it all up for me. Even though it got fixed, it’s still sticks in my head how weird people can be!!!
@@giao2380 there are so many envious people in the world, I’m glad you’re okay. Personally, I never ask for permission when merging into a lane as it will only bring unwanted attention, especially since I’m a woman in a nice car. But what I do get, is people following and stalking me as I’m doing my daily business in the car. They’re always crazy lowlife men curbing me in the middle of a highway and risking my life just to get my attention. And sadly, I don’t get to put the convertible down because of them.

That’s why you do your homework on the car, pay cash and you’re able to negotiate a better price. You will have warranty because the car is new. Full coverage insurance of course ( and if you pay your insurance upfront you get a discount too ). If you’re buying used, bring a certified mechanic with you to fully inspect the car and someone who owns a Vet who can check out the car for you.
