My one regret with my C7 was not getting museum delivery. If I get a C8 I will definitely do it. Seeing your car vs. the torch red vert I think the yellow was a good idea, the contrasting calipers & stitching give the car some character.

I have been on my local dealers list for some time now, but my number has not been pulled yet. I plan the exact spec as yours just in a different color. I can't believe Austin is driving all the way back. While I considered this, I thought varying RPM would be problematic. I dread letting it sit in a hotel parking lot overnight. And he's driving back in winter!! Hat's off to you Austin. Be careful on your drive back. I bought my 19 C7 in November. Pleasant journey, Austin.
I always assumed that would be a good breaking but idk. Im w/ you on leaving it outside in a motel, I'd probably sleep in it .
@@richardmorris7063 I only had less than 500 from where I purchased. Had to keep it in manual mode, while periodically going up one or two gears, then back down one or two gears. Just back n forth all the way back. Not every minute, but always aware of it. I live with cruise control, so that's just me. Yeah, parking it over night? With those wheels? Maybe he will sleep in it! 😀
At least the temp was in the 70s last week when he got it delivered. That was a blessing.

SP!! There’s nothing like a Museum Delivery of Corvette. Did ours last Nov 28th. 684 Days from order to delivery… felt like years but have had so much fun with the Ray! Enjoy your ride home. Going through Georgia we pull off on Hwy 35 (?) a windy twister through the hills of N Georgia…. What a great driving experience! Great Post!!

Ive owned a few vettes in my life, my fav was my C7 ZR1. Ive moved on to Porsches and just picked up my 2023 911 Turbo S....I watch Speeds videos not because I love the car per se, but because he is so kind, happy and enthusiastic. Seems like a great young man. Congrats to you.
I have wanted a 911 Turbo S for a long time but every dealership in Chicago has quite a markup except one dealership and they have a 3 year wait list.

@@Christine-shield Getting a PTS is great. I was trying to find that color on Rennlist. From what I understand RB is a shade lighter than Shark Blue. We have a Miami Blue and Voodoo Blue for sale nearby. Both Turbo S’s.

AUSTIN: On the carbon fiber inside and out use 3m clear bra to prevent scratches! Love your color choices and add-ons and feature choices! I’ll pattern mine after yours! 3m your headlights to!
