I got to go to Vietnam for the first time last year, I loved it! I can’t wait for this whole coronavirus lockdown to be over. I’m so itching to travel around Vietnam again.

8:00 "What do you think of Bing?"
"That man was crazy, in the best way possible of course"
Real Vietnamese people: "No, he's crazy."
i kinda think bing was kinda cool though
I love Bing
I think the right way to spell his name is Bình
Chikachika I know, but most foreigners don't understand the difference between 'ing' and 'inh', not to mention the intonation.
Minimum Min I thought that was the case too, but just wanted to add for extra info 😊
OMG Bing was so cool! Loved how happy he was to have you guys over. Ah, love special travel moments like that :)
actually his name is Bình not Bing
Do 100 dollars in Monaco, you’ll only get to breathe and that’s about it😂
Thanks everybody who liked💙
In Monaco you gotta put it all on red and let it ride.
Hammett175 go big or go home 😂😂

same with costarica 😂
Imagine doing it in Dubai, you would die in an instant :)
That wasn’t his house, it was a shop and he invited you so he could sell you stuff. A disappointed face when you left says everything 😂
Hahhaah
Yes, this things there was no really kind of art, was looking more cheap. And this room look kind of wealthy, nobody would put in his private room cheap stuff like this
Drgnfli yes this. Doesn’t matter if you are at home or abroad. Stay safe. Stay away from stranger danger.
A lot of houses look like this. I don't think it was a shop. But yes, a bit risky going there
When I was in China people would constantly come up to you and try to sell you fake designer.
Who else was impressed with Bing’s collection?!
Bing is the 🐐 no 🧢
It was awesome and he was so cool
Dude I wanna chill with Bing soo bad right now
Bing was trying to add two new ones to his collection
rookies hahahahha did you see the way they cut the video. He was going to pressure them into buying something after accepting a drink with him
careful out there kids
this is the first time I watch your video , it is so positive and insteresting that the reason why i follow it right now , i believe that your video will be further development in the future.
The meeting with Binh seriously frightened me, it had nothing to do with the gentleman personally just from a NA perspective it's a shocking thing to do. I was a quarter sure you'd wake up in an icebath but he just wanted some company and to show off his art collection.
I commend your openness and agreeability.
It’s very common in foreign countries for strangers to invite you over and just serve you tea and welcome you to their hometown
Aaah. Don't worry too much. Binh is not afraid of strangers coming to his house. Both parties are strangers to each other. Live a little. Enjoy a lot. Hehehe
@@SmeMaHu yeah I suppose, I've never had any interest in actual travel, all the entertainment I need is at my desk and all the supplies I could ever want are within walking distance so all this is alien to me. I congratulate these men on their exploration, especially on successfully monetizing it.
Binh gave me strong creep vibes.
I couldn’t recommend Vietnam enough when this pandemic has levelled out. It’s perfect for backpackers of all experience and age 👍
when was this video filmed? Wasn't it during the pandemic, no masks, no social distancing, no sickness?
@@BRandomFishing Well this was film before the 1st Vietnamese outbreak so it's fine
The best part of travelling is staying away from touristy areas and finding places where there are no tourists and only locals. You will have the best experience this way.
Bro recently I hve discovered your Chanel and i found it awesome. You're making awesome videos. At last you're a awesome guy.
The Bing part was gold, glad you guys went through with it 😂

The best thing you missed is street food.
True, but their western stomachs might not be able to handle it
Bánh mì 🤤
Depends when you go for Banh mi. Went at night and did not have a good experience in Saigon. Got some sausage that was sitting out in the sun all day and it did not sit well with my stomach. Other street food was fine for me.

Loved traveling through Vietnam! Cheap, beautiful, and so much fun! We vlogged our entire trip there and all the crazy adventures we got into!
I travelled to Vietnam in 2002 from how long bay, Hanoi to ho,chi Minh city and spent $900 Canadian in 28 days and stayed in best accommodations and had great food and rented scooters with friends. The best country to travel in and the locals were super nice.
I just discovered your channel today and loving your videos!
I went to Hanoi, Vietnam last December and it's so funny seeing you go-to places where I have been too.
The worst coffee i ever had was at Starbucks
Our coffee can be considered the best in world, and people get really creative with the coffee taste so yes, just go have some 20-25k VND which is around 1$
yeah, but i dont understand why there are so many people prefer this kinda coffee while they totally can get some better :)
Andrew Petersen i love Starbuck coffee
@@tphuonganhh856 as the Starbucks are very expensive for Vietnammeses, i ithink some people only want to show their richesse by having coffee there, on my Facebook i see very often photos of starbucks cup taking by my friends lol, It's like mcdonald's, they take photos whenever they go there
I really dont understand why every american compares real coffee with fuking starbucks... Its like comparing Mcdonald's with an high end Restaurant.
Y’all sayin he over paid but it’s still not even close to U.S prices🤣
you meant all of it? oh wow ! what's the standard price for going around like that? i rly want to know..
Tuấn Nguyễn the example will be the outfit he bought. It would go for at leas $70
The extrinsic value we see in $1.00 USD is not the same for Vietnamese money.
No what we mean is that restaurants and other locations hand out different menus to foreigners than they do natives, foreigners pay more for the same service in locations but don't complain as its still cheaper than what id comparable in their home country
@@TuanNguyen-bc1pe that beer would be about $2 a cup. So minimum 10 times higher. The price of room would be about $40-$60 a day if he does AirBNB in a dangerous poverty neighborhood. Also if some american said come to my home ... well the video wouldn't have been uploaded
Crossing the road in Vietnam is quite an experience! We would wait for a local to cross and then cling to them for dear life 😅
Thank you for coming to Vietnam and promoting Vietnam
Love your country. ❤
Imagine trying to get to work and some knob is sitting in a chair in the middle of the road
ikr like bro wth r u doing-
I thought that too but if ya look close when bing walks up hes like right on the curb just a good angle
Wherever you go, “Cheap country” is not the respectful phrase to use, the country may have low cost of living but it is not a cheap country. In fact the land renting or buying in Vietnam, especially in the central areas is not cheap at all.
Agree
Agree "Cheap country" sounds insulting
Yes u r right a more respectable phrase low cost travel.. and entertainment.. right on
Same opinion
Totally agree
I like when tourists decently haggle to get the right prices. It helps keep prices affordable for local people.
I lived there for 6 months
the crossing the street part is hilariously true lol
The design of the road is so weird and dangerous though.
They may have overpaid for everything but they are still happy.

Some of the top countries I look foward to going to when I’m older consist of Vietnam, the Philippines, Taiwan, Thailand, Malaysia, and japan! I’m from Yemen btw!
There is a story about a young boy from Yemen all he wanted for Christmas was a new AK-47
years and years ago on CBS TV show called "60 minutes" they featured a small arab muslim town where there was no gun laws or restrictions of any kind ...and the entire industry of the population were highly skilled gunsmiths of 100's and 100's of gun shops literally from door to door of craftsman who for a very modest price could and would hand built you an exact
copy of any known fire arm from any known brand of any countries popular models ..from simple small caliber hand guns to exotic large caliber revolver , semi-auto , full-auto and same for sub-machine guns to all types of military assault rifles with selective fire of single burst of 3 full auto...same for shot guns, sniper rifles , and all types of turret mounted light machine guns of ammo boxed belt fed of 1000's of rounds at a time of wwi wwii and modern mini guns of 3000rds/minute fire rates ...and "60 minutes went in to interview the Craftsman of the gunsmiths and they were using hand tools two hand drill and rifle the barrels of their guns with same accuracy and machining tolerances of The Originals. To see what they were doing with what they had to work with move me beyond words as I was a machinist Apprentice at one time which would allow you to appreciate their skills beyond what I ever accomplished as the whole town where specialized with what machinist tools they had as some shops had no electricity and other shops would have a lathe in a Mill and did everything by hand from that from the simple aesthetic of an original and Beyond exotic engraving in artistry of collector guns but the one main thing the whole town had in common was the fact there was Zero crime imagine that is this place I'm talking of sounds familiar to you was it in Yemen I was so intrigued by the machine work alone I can't remember the name of the country or the town. And these people were busy at work building all these parts from memory there was no plans or blueprints or specifications they were just working hard like a blacksmith Who would know from generation to generation how to maintain the tackle and shoeing a horse they were all just busy at their work benches cutting out Parts like a machine pre-programmed without any reference but that was the whole point of the 60 Minutes interview was the zero crime as everyone was armed to the teeth with anything that shoots bullets and this was the era in the United States of around the 1980s when the first major restrictions of gun laws hit us all pretty hard

I stayed ( full expenses paid ) in Viet Nam for a year in the 1960's. Times have changed a little, but not as much as many think.
Thanks for doing this video guys. I am impressed by the amount of English speaking Vietnamese people you got to meet. Since it use to be a colony of France. Life is full of surprises.
We kicked them out since the WW II. We refused to be assimilated! Our people speak French and Russian as well as their 2nd languages just like people around the world. What are you surprised about? You sounded like Amerikkkan?
What a great & educational video! I went to Thailand for over a month- It was so amazing, beautiful, clean, hot place- it was so hard to explain how cheap everything was. How much fun my friend & I had! Would love to do it again.

20 cents for a beer, meanwhile we're paying 10 cents just for the bottle.
