Hi Brett, got a kick out of your comment, re cheaper travelling than living in NYC. I'm in LA, where mid level income types living in their cars, since the average rent for a 1 bdr apt is now $2500. Phil is a treasure and a great option for even younger Americans. In San Diego Cal (also high), some Americans living across the border in Tijuana.
$100 can give you 5264 Php., great amount for shopping or eating in a nice restaurant like Max's Friend Chicken. Philippines is a wonderful place, one of the most fun and happiest places on Earth.
I’m really happy for Brett. I remember he barely had any Subscribers and his views were pretty low too. He had RUclipsr friends in NYC that were doing way better-than him already. I remember thinking, “I Like Brett but he’ll never catch up to his friends with this YT stuff. He’s working his ass off and living kind of minimalistic to try And make it as a Vlogger.” And look at him now. He obviously still has a long ways up to go but he’s living life the way he worked hard to do so. I’m really proud of him and it has been incredible to watch.

yeah. an hes too smart to not know to detail the quality of stitching etc. 🤷 so that leaves us with an integrity failure. which shows us this point of failure exists. which shades the rest of his "teachings" in a different color.
For those wondering about the first accommodation he went it, it's a dorm style accommodation and of course it's CHEAP and since it is cheap, don't expect anything a normal dorm could not reach. As for the second one, the air-con doesn't work maybe because he paid for the fan. We own a little tourist inn and our rooms both have an air-con and a fan. If they paid for the fan (a bit cheaper than AC) we will turn the AC off (that's how it works)and based on the price $14 (700 pesos), normally it is for fan rooms. For those Filos that are complaining about the prices of those rip offs, it's normal in here (it's expensive coz El Nido is a tourists spot) those prices goes for everyone tho, locals or not. For those who's going to visit El Nido, I hope you'll enjoy your stay here but please take care of your belongings and especially your trash properly. We are ✈️ plastic free here😊

Thank you for featuring such a wonderful island of the Philippines. I'm a Filipino. Thank you for not complaining about things and understanding it instead. This is your first video that I've watched and without a doubt I would love to say that I LOVE IT! Hope you come back to the Philippines soon!
Enjoy Brett..Love from Philippines💕💕
❤
So cool of you!! Not complaining for the simple problem in the hostel.. A must have attitude of a real traveler..
I went to the philipines 2 years ago and I miss it so much.
I’ve been 2 the Philipine this year & I think that this is the country that I want 2 retire other then my own country (Vietnam)
really brother
Why though?
You are welcome here viet daddy
Vietnam is a very cheap place already and it is a really good country as well, so why leave?
if you think it's cheap there then go to Manila it's hella lot cheaper. although it's hella lot traffic too 😂
my friend is an american she is soooooooooooo rich you know how many she got from christmas.....

100% would stay in that Hostel!!! Loving this series! I need to travel more!!!
You could stay at my place in ph 😁
@@michaeljakeusman wth.. you probably had good intentions but that didn't sound good. Hahaha
@@roserry1165 haha if she's vlogging, i just want to be in someone else's vlog.
Whatever the intention was. it definitely sounded wrong AF
100% want to have faith in humanity that someone wouldn't be a pig to somebody as beautiful as yourself there.... but my gut instinct tells,Me that 7 people in a cheap hostel most likely being guys with you is a bad idea... Just saying. Get the hotel lol. (:
Finn is the best!
i like how you say the brands as if they arent knock offs lmao
Shannon Luciano xD
yeah. an hes too smart to not know to detail the quality of stitching etc. 🤷 so that leaves us with an integrity failure. which shows us this point of failure exists. which shades the rest of his "teachings" in a different color.
You give information and back it up by facts. You are excellent at your job. I like that you show prices.
Those glasses are way cheaper if you’re not a foreigner
Yeah. The best way to get it cheaper is to look and act Filipino.
I'd say wtf I'm willipino
Start saying words in Tagalog
these peeps sucks, in palawan the prices in there especially near the tourists spots are expensive. Try to go in there
Of course prices is different from divesoria or baclaran.
3 dollars is NOT CHEAP FOR US
I agree
It cost SOO much money you can buy allot of food to be honest
@@xxthat_gurbrookexx6881 really bro??
@@FUB. ye
Ofc not but this vid is probably for foreigners planning to visit the Philippines, and not filipinos
We are ✈️ plastic free here😊
Because of your video, I'm planning on going to El Nido soon that it's good to go. Thank s man..
There’s another whole world out there. Live your best life before you can’t!
Never considered visiting the Philippines but now I will.
Amazing place and the people can speak english
Cool.
SuperSwedishStar that’s the best thing about philippines, you can literally just ask anybody because in philippines schools we learn a little bit of english.
@@dracosai3530 dude not just a little bit, all of the best Customer service reps are from the Philippines. Now think about that, talking to Americans and solving their problems everyday, and getting those spectacular feedbacks from them. So it's particularly not a little bit :)

Sakto maganda pag christmas dito haha
Malamig doon pero ako hindi nalalamigan
Mas malamig sa pinangalingan nya haha
I love Baguio. We live in Laguna, but spend 2-3 months in Baguio every year. Best strawberry ice cream you’ll try.
Your $100 goes a long, long way, considering the beautiful Palawan! You can actually help the vendors to their livelihood, so don't hesitate to help the locals.
I truly enjoy the details of your budget - what is richer here is your experience with the genuine Pinoy smiles & hospitality and the paradise that brings your viewers overseas salivate. Finn here is so payat pa! Look him today, he is bit taba na the face - his gorgeous Pinay girlfriend is gorgeous talaga! Tourists, should not mind buying those vendors items, because you are helping the country that you visited. There is joy in giving that your $$$ can't buy - the feeling good of giving is amazing.
1$ =50>pesos
Hey bro nice video! But negotiate with them it’s essential in Asia! I traveled with a 100$ around 5 days and I had a blast!
I have started watching your videos very recently, well i am enjoying these a lot. Great content and crisp editing.
