However, every time Mainoo puts in a really good performance you see him also getting through a lot of defensive work, in those games he always seems to put in some memorable important slide tackles and really affects the game on both sides of the ball. As he matures and becomes more consistent (and as the team improves) I think he could really come into his own in the deeper role, especially as United need a technical player in build up who can take the ball under pressure and play through the press.
I think a lot of people don't realize what Mainoo offers they are casual watchers that see him struggle and hes not good enough or he plays well and hes now a world beater. He came through the atlético youth team and has an affinity to the club. It is believed he has a minimum release clause of 100 million. This is not FIFA or Football Manager. This makes no sense.
Wing backs is key for me. I know it's tempting to look at results and say "all the players are crap" but the wing-backs not getting up the pitch is the root cause of the system not working and causing the entire team to malfunction.
Adam Wharton should be considered. Great playmaker and also young with premier league experience. Works well in cdm. But also if amorim doesn't work out, he can fit into another system for another manager. I would go with alvaro carreras for that lwb position. If amorim fails, he slots in as LB well. I love the suggestions you make. They are thought out properly. The thing people suggest amorim wants to achieve has been defended against easily. I think he needs to find more solutions coz minteh and Murphy shut that wingback overlap quite well coz they always stayed with the wing back
The issue is that Wharton is signed through 2028 at a premier league midtable club. Any attempt to sign him would likely be a 100M+ affair while crystal palace wouldn’t even be really interested in selling such a talent unless necessary
@telluricdeer7611 possibly true. This is one of the fears about such a deal it could be a difficult negotiation since palace have regained momentum despite their shaky start to the season. But they are still in a relegation battle. So fingers 🤞
@chiefnkosi7705 he is really good. Could fit in many set ups. Good at moving the ball and great short snd long pass. Along side a ball carrier like maino I believe u would have a great midfield partnership. Prior to ugarte purchase I thought him to be a great option for ten hag and was valued at 30mil by then
Completely agree about Wharton! I felt like of all the options they could do with someone who will definitely be fit and Whartons struggled this season
Nunes and Barrios i think have no chance of actually happening but Luiz and Ait Nouri i think could potentially happen, i'd like to see us try to loan Douglas Luiz from Juve this month cause he isn't settled there.
I think the problem with the Luiz deal is that he probably doesn't want to be far from Turin given his partner plays for Juve women. He and Lehmann both moved to Juve from Villa in the summer.
We need a LWB, and a left 10 this window. imo bruno is a bit slow for that position and his passing abilities will be utilised more alongside Ugarte. If Cunha is available, we should try for him. Adding a LWB, looks like it's gonna be Dorgu but Alvaro is also a great option would mean dalot can play on the RWB position where he could cross with his favoured foot. Then in the summer, we hopefully do a massive overhaul and build a squad suited to play Amorim's system
It’ll most likely be Dorgu and Nkunku. Would they be my first-choice options? Certainly not. I expect Nkunku to come in on loan, but their arrivals would provide much-needed depth in two positions where we are severely lacking both quality and squad options.
I think the UEFA registration for UEL/UCL/CL restricts clubs to only 3 new players/replacements. So we'd have to limit to 3 this window and have a proper rebuild in the summer. But either way that's a highly unrealistic window coz the cost would be too much
Imagine having Mount, Casemiro, Bruno, Eriksen, Ugarte, and Mainoo yet United still need more midfielders. Compare that to Liverpool that only has Chiesa as reinforcement this season. Chelsea and Man United literally have massive resources but they kept squandering it for nonsensical reason.
Liverpool spent over 100 million on their midfield the summer before, and they had a better squad already. I'll agree that the money spent on Casemiro and wages on Eriksen were a mistake, United needed to be building for the future, not spending big money for declining veterans
It's easy to spend cash if clubs don't rip you off like they do with United Feyenoord and Fenerbahce are the only clubs that didn't scam us when we signed Malacia and Bayindir
Not disputing United have bought poorly but I don't think this comment is entirely fair. 1. Bruno has always been a 10. He's played midfield, but he's a forward, so he shouldn't be in this conversation. 2. Mount is injured. Perhaps the medical department should have picked it up I don't know but whatever money they spent on him is essentially in the bin. Lucky escape for Liverpool who also wanted him. 3. Ugarte. He's playing. A midfielder is needed to complement him. 4. Mainoo. 19 years old. Can't be expected to play every game. 5. Erikson was a veteran brought in on a free. It was a tidy little signing and he's done fine given the overall outlay and he'll leave in the summer. 5. Casemiro. Yes fair point. Insane amount of money in terms of transfer fee and wages on a player of his age and profile but he should hopefully leave this summer if not this January. So tl;dr I don't think United needing one more, young, central midfielder is actually all that big a deal.
I know he's not young, but Goretzka is physical, technical, vocal on the pitch, and undoubtedly would be a huge upgrade in the squad. He's won the Champions League and a ton of League Titles. Think he could make a HUGE impact. To top it off, Bayern are desperate to sell him to promote Pavlovic and get his salary off the books, so he'd be relatively cheap.
After much thought, and also considering its the January transfer, here what they'll need most. 1. A left wingback. Mazraoui will be fine for now on the right, with Dalot filling in when needed. But we can't have both of them playing at the same time. Gotta have room to rotate and injury breathing room 2. Someone who can play as a 10 to swap with Fernandes when needed, but most importantly who can also play along side Ugarte. Someone in the comments made this suggestion, and honestly i like this most. Also prevents over reliance on Mainoo when he's still developing. 3. Either another center back or a center forward. This is just extra. Preferably an experienced forward.
think the next midfield signing really has to be someone who can progress the ball from deep, because we struggle to do that centrally as it stands with Mainoo/Ugarte. One of the more fun suggestions ive seen is Stuttgart's Angelo Stiller
@@gluestix17 De Jong has everything this system needs, tho. You can play with 2 wide center backs and De Jong in a CB / CDM position in front of it. He has played there in his Ajax time too shortly and with Barcelona too. You have a Box-to-Box player in Maino, an ugarte in defensive position and a playmaker in De Jong. Your suggestion aint bad either but that is future.
I don’t think Barios would leave Athletico. He’s already at a club in the champions league, & regularly competing for titles *edit * Also not mentioning Wharton, & then mentioning a Man City outcast is the opposite of sensible 🤯
Good video, good picks. I agree with midfield as the team desperately needs more legs and physicality as well as quality in these positions. Maybe I’d be greedy & ask for another lwb option beyond expensive (now in this window anyway) premiership based option.
United is like a stagnant pond, while City is like a flowing stream, gaining more strength as it moves forward with time. Savinho, Vitor Reis, Khusanov, Echeverri, Doku, Gvardiol, Lewis, Bobb, and McAtee. Not one of them is older than 22. Then there’s Haaland and Foden, who are just 24, yet already superstars. City is building a team that might not fall off for years, maybe even decades.
Forgot to mention MLS talents Cavan Sullivan and Christian McFarlane, who's already one of the fastest players in the World at 17 Not only them but Another good Centre back aswell in Juma Bah City's cooking while United hasn't even switched on the stove
Could you do a specific analytical video of Isak? Maybe something like ”Is Alexander Isak the real deal?” Maybe comparing how he fits in the current system in Newcastle, if he is overperforming or if this is his real level, and how he would fit in some other teams?
Like some others have said, United need to be careful of falling down the “buy players the manager has worked with before” hole like they did with ETH. The club has run on short term solutions for way too long. Having said that, a Nunes loan until the end of the season could be beneficial to all parties involved. I like Kobe but I agree with JJ, he needs to be higher up the pitch. He doesn’t have the engine and physicality to cover the ground like Ugarte but he’s great in tight spaces. Honestly, our priority needs to be a LWB. Dalot is doing his best but it’s not great and Malacia/Shaw are unlikely to be fit/confident any time soon.
Dream signings would be Alan Varela, Adam Wharton or Ederson for that LCDM role. Diogo costa,Unai Simon or Gregor Kobel for GK. Kerkez, Nuno Mendes, Ait Nouri, Udogie, Gutierrez, Kadioglu or Alvaro carreras for LWB Sesko, Gyokeres or Osimhen for ST. Obviously we wont get all straight away but they would improve us now definitely and for the future
He isn't half that bad as it might seem, it just reflects whatever is happening before him. He has made a lot of very impressive saves, don't let that last error fool you.
Onana was the best keeper in the CL when he was at inter, I don’t think it’s a coincidence his form drops when he’s playing with a team that concedes 30 shots per game at times
@@Wittttte107 Should I let the catalogue of other errors he's made fool me? Or perhaps the fact that he just hoofs the ball out of play half the time with his kicks, despite allegedly being bought because of his ability with the ball at his feet? Literally the only thing he's good at are reaction saves. He was, at best, a £50m sidegrade from De Gea. And that's late-stage De Gea, once the rot had set in. He's not fit to lace peak De Gea's boots.
Guys who're watching this should watch the last podcast by the Tifo Podcast channel. They explained pretty well the costs and opportunity costs of Ruben Amorim and Manchester United. Great podcast that is and it's criminal that there's only small amount of subs there. Please do subscribe that. Love Tifo & The Athletic. Great journalism. Specially hats off too David Ornstein, doing God's work in the transfer market. He's like a beacon of truth in sea of lies. Altogether great stuff
I can see United getting Malick Fofana. Super talented dribbler and crosser, suits Amorim’s system and will probably move to a bigger club this season or next season due to OL’s financial issues.
His statement points out that Mainoo struggles defensively but then highlights Luiz and Nunes as alternatives, despite the stats provided showing that they also face similar defensive challenges.
I personally think that United should sign Ruben Loftus-cheek and Dough Luis if they do get to sell Erickson and Casemiro because they are both perfect box-to-box midfielders and Ugarte compensates for them defensively. For an attack, I obviously want Gyokers but if not I think that John Duran who be an amazing for United. Strong fast and powerful shot, he reminds me so much of Danny Wellbeck. for the lb/lm role I think Antone robinson who do perfect on that role but if heis too much I do think kadioglu would be amazing. He had an amazing start at Brighton. If United then sell, anotony, shaw , Casemiro, erickson and linedelof. i think that would be fair. I wouldnt want to sell malacia as I think he is still young and injury-prone but he could do so much better in the future and has ton of potential. i would want rashford to go becuase althought he is good, its not consistent and some recent clips of him and amiron and doing the club well. I think dalot, garnacho malaria, leny toro, de light, amad mainoo and hoyjund should stay and im very 50/50 with zirkee but honestly he should proably go to but i would give him one year. So Thats what I would do if I was Ruben amiron. Sorry if it is too long but i feel that this would fix united and ruben has amazing tactics and formations.
United make themselves an easy target to dunk on, but there's still the skeleton of a good team in there. Defense is definitely solid for the team as well as its depth so I wouldn't change much there. But the midfield depth is scarce aside from Ugarte and Mainoo. The attackers are where the team is suffering the most and need a full clear out. Højlund needs a loan, Zirkzee needs to build his confidence back up, and we need new wingers to help out Amad.
Honorable mentions for CM: Kenneth Taylor, Quentin timber, both who have CL and European cup experience, Gabriel Sara I know he’s at galatasaray rn but at Norwich he was good. And I hate it when big clubs steal from little clubs. And this is also based on where Nottingham Forest finish. But I think Gibbs-white is an ELITE CM/CAM and can fit that role well. He has that dog in him.
For LWB we don't really have to spend that much we should bring alvaro Fernandez for just 20 mill using buy back clause and get chilwell for the loan and onligation to buy till the end of season
In my opinion the smartest thing United can do is snap Chelseas hand off if they offer over £50m for Garnacho, because he isn't worth anywhere near that much and they can use that fee to bring in 2-3 players that immediately improve their starting line up. I understand that United are often marked up a bit extra on fees because clubs know that traditionally they've had more money than sense, but there are more and more release clauses in football nowadays (in Spain it's literally a rule that all players have to have release clauses) so there's lots of potential to take advantage of those where you can't be price gouged. This United squad is so void of talent its actually kind of scary. The biggest problem they have though, more than the players, manager, directors or board is the fans - I just don't see their fans being able to stomach a rebuild, even though they might be saying that's what they want right now. I mean there's already a minority of fans talking about getting rid of Amorim because results haven't instantly improved. Things are going to get worse at United before they get better, that's the unfortunate reality for them and their fans need to get very comfortable with that.
Problem with Luiz and Barrios are that neither of them are really press-breaking, dribbling midfielders. Nunes is, but yeah, him being at City is a problem, just logistically. Mainoo is also that player, but his age means he can physically sometimes get overpowered, nor last the whole game covering the whole pitch.
Kerkez would be my 1st pick at LWB, think club should also target Alphonso Davies for the summer, sell/loan Malacia. Shaw can fill LWB or LCB slot when needed (when and if fit) Midfield we need a technical physical player with enough defensive nous, that would be Douglas Luiz, he can spray the passes to find the runs. Barrios could be the option in the summer, Luiz available on a loan now. Jonathan David on a precontract for the summer. I don't think the club has money to do anything big now or the summer without sales, free transfers, loans etc will be needed
@@samuelschonenberger Facts. They just don't make sensible transfer vids anymore 💔 It was so cool back then, when they pulled out a dm from the Russian league for United. Just very interesting compared to now.
@@Mainzeption That's true, those were more about shocasing super unknown players and what we can learn about it. The modern Interpretation of sensible transfers are more about, who would more realistically fit, which will lead to more obvious and less interesting players being mentioned. I think if you did sensible transfers for smaller clubs that would be more interesting since they don't have the money for the obviously good players that everybody knows and thus we wpuld get more interesting choices. Like in France they bring in players from the most random places, you almost have more space for creativity with less resources
The hardest part is offloading. Evans, Lindelof & Eriksen all likely leaving on end of contracts, clubs PSR issues well known so will continue to get low balled by clubs for players that we’d be better off keeping really, whilst the ones we need to shift nobody will really want.
always wondered how RUclips tacticos overlooked Ait Nouri and they would mention unrealistic targets like Alphonso and Mendez when there’s one of the best left wingbacks in the league in Ait Nouri with a year left on his contract and just 23 years old, he goes pass 2-3 players with so much ease also has play everywhere on that left side; Lcb, Lb, Lwb, Lam even Ram.
I genuinely believe United should be looking at Angelo Stiller from Stuttgart. That would be a revolutionary signing with Mainoo and Amad in the 2 10s.
"They have 2 good goalkeepers and 3 decent centre backs" um no, they're all utterly dreadful. De Ligt is the slowest player I've ever seen and Onana will cost a team 15 points per season.
Only thing about the Nunes wildcard (which I can see happening) is the “problem” ETH had with signing ex players, so utd should just sign players Amorim had at sporting?
atletico madrid had this situation before with a talented young home grown midfielder and sold him to city for him to win the ballon dor years later, they’ve learned from their mistakes and will not even consider barrios for sale.
We have to look into Spain born mid fielders. They are all rounded playmakers, especially ball carriers. Someone comfortable with a ball on his feet, a dribbler, goo passer between tight spots
Why'd you discount Carlos Baleba? 21 yr old all action midfielder that excels in covering ground and progressive carries. Maybe a bit cheaper than Barrios too
hasn't malacia been fit basically all season since september or so but just didn't get a chance? because i think he'd fit perfectly into that lwb position...
I think the 3 biggest problems in the current United setup are 1) Dalot 2) Mainoo and 3) Hojlund/Zirkzee. All three are simply not good enough and destroy Amorim's patterns of play. They should go for 1) Davies from Bayern on a free transfer in the summer 2) Matheus Cunha from Wolves right now and 3) Gyorkeres/ Osimhen in the summer. It would significantly improve the team. Then go for the next phase in 25/26 by signing a class CB - Huijsen from Bournemouth, a RWB who is better than Dalot/ Mazraoui (Frimpong, Dumfries) and a replacement for Bruno. Money can be raised by selling Garnacho, Rashford, Sancho (already agreed with Chelsea), Zirkzee and Maino (who is a terrible fit for AMorim'S system).
honestly uniteds starting 11 is pretty good, they just need a better goalie, cbs, wingbacks, holding midfielder, midfielders, wingers and striker

@telluricdeer7611 possibly true. This is one of the fears about such a deal it could be a difficult negotiation since palace have regained momentum despite their shaky start to the season. But they are still in a relegation battle. So fingers 🤞
That kid will be a good midfielder. His technical qualities are incredible
Spat out my water when JJ said "they have 2 good goalkeepers"
LOL Jude Bellingham fits that midfield profile
He fits in every team bar City and Barca
Or Leon Goretzka. Or Valverde
@@BigSmoke2.20Barca play with a 10 under Flick. He would be perfect for a muller role under flick.
@@MISSINGSITTERS Goretzka isn't technical enough. They need a ball player next to Ugarte.
Malik Tillman could also be a good shout👌
This is why i keep coming to this channel, these picks are outstanding. Fantastic work on this video.
Nice to see Sensible Transfers back. Best start to the day. Please keep putting out this kind of content reguarly.
Great comment. Completely agree mate
Swap deals never really seem to happen but swapping Garnacho for Cunha would be a fantasic move imo.
out of all the comments, I like this idea the most. not sure who's the best for that left 10 position, but it would be neat step forward.
It’ll most likely be Dorgu and Nkunku. Would they be my first-choice options? Certainly not. I expect Nkunku to come in on loan, but their arrivals would provide much-needed depth in two positions where we are severely lacking both quality and squad options.
Two good goalkeepers…. JJ been drinking HEAVILY
If you merged them you would have 3/4 of a good keeper for sure.
I'm impressed he didn't flinch when he said that. Very professional 😂
Onana is soooo bad, most inconsistent GK i have ever seen at United
Onana is a good keeper like he has all the attributes but his blunders happens way too often
@ I rather have a consistent and reliable shot-stopper to a ball playing GK. He’s ball playing ability for the past year hasnt been impressive at all.
Nunes is a wild shout but omg it actually makes so much sense and i love it
Super overdue! What they been having you do JJ!
Was this filmed before the brighton game per chance?
Maybe before Barrios got a straight red card against Leverkusen
@@josec8814 Yes because players that get 1 red card can never be good.
😂😂 Lemme guess, cos of Onana?
Buy a load of lads who play positions they won't have when they inevitably fire Amorim and stop playing 3-4-3.
Ederson of Atlanta would be best for a midfield double pivot.
Utd should go for Gyokeres, Inacio, Dorgu and Ederson
Ederson is great and is used to the 3421 system. As an Atalanta fan hate to see him go, but he is class.
Only dorgu and mby inacio would leave for united
I think the UEFA registration for UEL/UCL/CL restricts clubs to only 3 new players/replacements. So we'd have to limit to 3 this window and have a proper rebuild in the summer. But either way that's a highly unrealistic window coz the cost would be too much
@ bro..i was talking about summer window..only Dorgu transfer could be possible this window but that too looks thin.
Fernandez instead of Dorgu
Chris wood, every position, easy peasy
I like Barrios but he's not exactly tall, which was one of your main criteria. United need an imposing presence in the middle.
It's easy to spend cash if clubs don't rip you off like they do with United
Feyenoord and Fenerbahce are the only clubs that didn't scam us when we signed Malacia and Bayindir
Technically only four have legs.
@@DavidC-fk2wgfunny how y'all blame poor Mainoo on "playing every game" when Bellingham was playing every game at that age
Classic AFC.....Love that shirt pal........ respect.👍
Casemiro 2.0
yea this is why normal people aren't scouts
After much thought, and also considering its the January transfer, here what they'll need most.
1. A left wingback. Mazraoui will be fine for now on the right, with Dalot filling in when needed. But we can't have both of them playing at the same time. Gotta have room to rotate and injury breathing room
So, we needs Krychowiak
It’s the year of old poles coming out of retirement. Maybe they could also sign Piątek as an improvement over Hojlund?
Amorim is also singing I need you Rodri.
so mctominay wouldve been perfect
Absolutely not… he would have been decent, but never had the passing range needed for the CM role in Amorims system
Nice Aberdeen top.
think the next midfield signing really has to be someone who can progress the ball from deep, because we struggle to do that centrally as it stands with Mainoo/Ugarte. One of the more fun suggestions ive seen is Stuttgart's Angelo Stiller
Frenkie de Jong?
@tim3440 we're not doing this again 💀💀
@ did we do this before?
@tim3440 go after De Jong? yes 😭😭
not worth the chase with age (kinda), wage demands, likely fee and other minor issues
He’s already at a club in the champions league, & regularly competing for titles
*edit *
Also not mentioning Wharton, & then mentioning a Man City outcast is the opposite of sensible 🤯
City is building a team that might not fall off for years, maybe even decades.
that's where cheating for years gets you. compared to the stealing, rat owners of united
Forgot to mention MLS talents Cavan Sullivan and Christian McFarlane, who's already one of the fastest players in the World at 17
Not only them but Another good Centre back aswell in Juma Bah
City's cooking while United hasn't even switched on the stove
@@Noone-m3swe've actually started making such smart signings too.
JJ Bull, patron saint of football
Could you do a specific analytical video of Isak? Maybe something like ”Is Alexander Isak the real deal?”
Maybe comparing how he fits in the current system in Newcastle, if he is overperforming or if this is his real level, and how he would fit in some other teams?
solid options, united need to find rejects/discounts like they did with mazrawi de ligt ugarte
If they are actually good and performs good, then no issues
Dream signings would be Alan Varela, Adam Wharton or Ederson for that LCDM role.
Diogo costa,Unai Simon or Gregor Kobel for GK.
Kerkez, Nuno Mendes, Ait Nouri, Udogie, Gutierrez, Kadioglu or Alvaro carreras for LWB
Sesko, Gyokeres or Osimhen for ST.
Obviously we wont get all straight away but they would improve us now definitely and for the future
Have you seen Onana play?
Top quality video JJ!
5:52 THIS IS EXACTLY THE PLAYER MAN UNITED NEEDS! i think the suggestion is great he would thrive under amorim (i’m a city fan)
Very good point about Nunes!
I've been saying Matheus Nunes ever since Amorim got appointed. It just makes sense. For both clubs!
Been waiting for this
Honorable mentions for CM:
Kenneth Taylor, Quentin timber, both who have CL and European cup experience, Gabriel Sara I know he’s at galatasaray rn but at Norwich he was good. And I hate it when big clubs steal from little clubs. And this is also based on where Nottingham Forest finish. But I think Gibbs-white is an ELITE CM/CAM and can fit that role well. He has that dog in him.
Douglas Luiz is a very smart shout. Think he could really fit the system
Fran Garcia from Real Madrid would work so well in the left wing back role
For LWB we don't really have to spend that much we should bring alvaro Fernandez for just 20 mill using buy back clause and get chilwell for the loan and onligation to buy till the end of season
Ait-Nouri is a good shout.
I was screaming for us to sign him before he went to Wolves.
Man, you hit the nail on the head perfectly. Are you a carpenter?
@@TJW-YT why would we sell to rival club for under his value? Any other European club would quote 70 / 80 million for young talent like Garnacho
Why aren't yanited following this sound advice? (I am being 100% serious, great content as always)
Ladislav Krejci (left footed cb)
Salvatore Esposito (centre midfielder)
Alvaro Fernandes/Leif Davis/Alfie Doughty
Yeremay Hernandez (Winger/Attacking midfielder)
Malcom/Sarabia/Trincao all sensible left footed options to backup/challenge Amad
That nunez volley against chelsea when he was in wolves still hurts me
I am true blue❤
LWB: Ait Nouri / Carreras
CF: not much options out there we must spend heavily (Cunha/ Sesko / Vlahovic..)
CM: Luiz (loan with option) /Baleba /
Problem with Luiz and Barrios are that neither of them are really press-breaking, dribbling midfielders. Nunes is, but yeah, him being at City is a problem, just logistically. Mainoo is also that player, but his age means he can physically sometimes get overpowered, nor last the whole game covering the whole pitch.
Kerkez would be my 1st pick at LWB, think club should also target Alphonso Davies for the summer, sell/loan Malacia. Shaw can fill LWB or LCB slot when needed (when and if fit)
Midfield we need a technical physical player with enough defensive nous, that would be Douglas Luiz, he can spray the passes to find the runs. Barrios could be the option in the summer, Luiz available on a loan now.
Jonathan David on a precontract for the summer.
I don't think the club has money to do anything big now or the summer without sales, free transfers, loans etc will be needed
davies signed with bayern already
@pepeefirat Then Kerkez and Ait Nouri as 2nd option. Not a fan of Ait Nouri defensively.
I would play Martinez alongside Ugarte, he's a formidable ballwinner and his passing is better than most.
This series was sooooo much better back when you got the videos illustrated and overdubbed. But great video nothing the less.
Tifo football is still making videos like that
@@samuelschonenberger Facts.
@ 100% agree. Clubs like Leeds & Ipswitch have 0 budget but huge following. Would be so sick if they did more content in that lane as well.
Would love to see Hugo Larsson at Utd, interested to hear why he was included in the “unrealistic” list
I feel like Utd need speedier centerbacks not to relegate mainoo to the bench
It’s insane how every year the sensible transfers for United always comes in a moment of crisis or the squads is disarray.
"They have 2 good goalkeepers and 3 decent centre backs" um no, they're all utterly dreadful. De Ligt is the slowest player I've ever seen and Onana will cost a team 15 points per season.
Ederson, stiller, baleba...nunes is a great shout
Two words that I never expected to come together but here we are
Really wish they’d make this kind of video on smaller clubs in the league
JJ, Newcastle require your input. Tell me ma where we can improve the squad please.
Great video
I was going to scream Douglas Luiz, then you mentioned him. Another CM i would consider is Richard Rios. At the wingback Alphonso Davies please.
Davies??? 😂😂. Not even in your dreams
Two good goal keepers.
Only thing about the Nunes wildcard (which I can see happening) is the “problem” ETH had with signing ex players, so utd should just sign players Amorim had at sporting?
Not just. But finding a good midield option in the winter is actually REALLY difficult.
atletico madrid had this situation before with a talented young home grown midfielder and sold him to city for him to win the ballon dor years later, they’ve learned from their mistakes and will not even consider barrios for sale.
Have a look at ardon jashari as a prospect for the future for the first transfer suggestion
2:27 i like this suggestion (lewis cook)... maybe united gotta focus on solid players instead of high profile players.
We have to look into Spain born mid fielders. They are all rounded playmakers, especially ball carriers. Someone comfortable with a ball on his feet, a dribbler, goo passer between tight spots
Was Javi Guerra of Valencia considered for that midfield position?
Rocking that Aberdeen 1983 top…the year we beat Real Madrid to win the ECWC 👌
Great shirt
Any serie a insights incoming ?
Why'd you discount Carlos Baleba? 21 yr old all action midfielder that excels in covering ground and progressive carries. Maybe a bit cheaper than Barrios too
So you've looked at the clubs in 1st, 2nd, 5th and 13th. Any danger Forest will get one of these videos or will Chelsea be the final one?
hasn't malacia been fit basically all season since september or so but just didn't get a chance? because i think he'd fit perfectly into that lwb position...
Money can be raised by selling Garnacho, Rashford, Sancho (already agreed with Chelsea), Zirkzee and Maino (who is a terrible fit for AMorim'S system).
how about Antoine Semenyo for left wing back?
