instead of pausing you can just spam R to cause enemies to stop to attack you. You have to hold your move down while you do this.
You can press R on the keyboard which stops you as well. You can also do it while the play button is active. If you so choose. This exploit can also be used in conjunction with disengaging from combat to avoid getting hit. Then reengaging to attack. This won't level melee defense, but it will level your melee attack. Find a wandering assassin or something with high stats and can get your melee as close to their stats as you want.
I've the Gorilla in bed method. If you like, you can download a mod that gives you advanced medical sleeping bags. I believe they are x16 healing. Which is quite fast.
Damn, this really does make that exploit very juicy. running away from beak things at 4x is now possible. Great shout.
Beds are very slow to heal but for me that mod feels to much like breaking what the base game wanted. I say that while having a really modded game
@@FredRoberts1 it can feel that way for an exploit. I’ve only used the bed like that once. But waiting for an eternity for my guys to heal in town with vanilla beds got old after so many playthroughs.
You can also walk into horde of starving bandits at skinners roam if i remember correctly hit defend, grind defence and when knocked out keep trying to get up, lvl 80 in few seconds
Use the red hive King on repair bed for weapon exp, he will loose heatlh but he got a lot share, or a cleanser machine. I'm just not sure we can pick them up
tested cleanser, no pick up sadly. I found the mega raptor is one of their biggest things you could pick up. If I could do this with a leviathan I would have been very happy
You get xp from dealing damage, more damage=more xp. I used the bed trick using south hive attacker, give them armor so they can survive longer but get less xp
Recently I experimented with using the megaraptor as it has 1000 hp on its limbs. The more animals you have the less you have to wait for them to heal up

Ever try the instant ally faction exploit?
Bring 1 bounty to a jail. Hand em over. Boom. +5 respect.. but. If you get in range to talk. But are running away at the same time you talk.
You move out of range before they can take the bounty from you.
Then you can just keep doing this as you gain the respect anyway, but they dont exchange the prisoner.
It works even better when there is a table. As they path around the table.
I did a 5 man full skeleton start, recruited a green lander. Allied with holy nation day 1.
Rock up to dust bandit lair with 3 merc groups. Grab the dust king. Leg it.
Apparently you can break someone out of jail, and hand them over. But, I never got it to work
I have heard a little bit, I know with that method you can ally with gutters and make beak things friendly. its cool for doing roleplay games as a dust bandit and such.
@@FredRoberts1 wasnt the ally with gutters exploit something like, get him abducted by slavers, then buy him back repeatedly..
As he doesnt have enemies you can turn in for bounties.
Maybe it was, keep healing him in a peeler machine. Idk.

hi fred, how do you train melee defense?
off the top of my head its about taking hits from better opponents and alot of hits. This is where having high toughness is really important, since you take less damage the higher your toughness.
bascially just wear super heavy armor + high toughness, then capture a really strong person and equipment with a trashy sword. Should level up that defence in no time

I don't get Kenshi exploits. Just use cheats or mods at that point lol
Cheating and cheesing do not allow you to enjoy the game. In fact, they ruin your game. Trust me.
