I feel like 2 days after Kenshi 2 launches, exploited 100 stat guides will be everywhere. Hopefully they will polish it well. Inability to max out dex without cheesy tactics kills my desire to play. Can't wait for the next game
I love this idea. Be sure to get that Suspicious Settler's Pup, he has higher health than the standard bonedog and cant be killed from bandits looting its meat. It would make a great alpha dog. Save before talking to the Suspicious Settler, I think you can lock yourself out of buying it if you choose the wrong dialogue. He's located in a small town west of Mongrel.
When someone running to catch and beat you up you can hold RMB to run into the distance and then press R. This will cause your enemies to stop temporarily, giving you chance to escape.
I got a pack of 5 bonedogs to elder, their stats all above 30s and 40s. They actually fight well. Their attack speed is ridiculous and they will just rip limbs off of even HN guys. Starving bandits? In my bonedogs stomachs.
John's initial athletics was 5. Let me tell you, a young dog can run fast. Depending on the breed, they don't need special training, they are lightning out of the box. (I understand for gameplay purposes). Liked.
Still planning on making a base 'the dog farm', with loads of bonedogs and train / feed them with the bandit raids in beautiful Shem. Anyone did something like this?
hold on arent animals able to eat straight from someone's backpack for as long as they are in the same squad and within a certain distance? why didnt you use that? is that not default settings?
I started yesterday and named him Boner. Bought a house in the first city I encountered to leave him there for awhile, because he already died one time so I had do load a save file. Now I’m scared for him to die again. Hope this video helps me to get him stronger.
17:10 I know a better and much faster method, spam "r" while holding the left mouse button, the "r" key cancels all actions your character is doing, in this case running, this will cause any enemy chasing you to play their attack animation, but as you are holding the left mouse key you character instantly resumes running, this is so fast that you basically run just as fast as running normally, I can go in the fog islands at x5 speed and the fogman never catch up to me, but this doesn't work if your enemies are much faster that you, so if you have a wounded leg this will not help as you can't get enough distance between their strikes and you
Most of my guys run at over 22 mph by hulling copper or iron. The other guys (and animals) just "follow" the hulling guy. I train strength the same way. Everything is automated. With sandals, they run 24 mph which is faster than the fog princes early on in the game. There is no need to do any trick. LOL
@@trumplostlol3007 This trick work on day 1 without training or any equipment, if you want a fast character just steal some scout legs and you will go at 50mph, you don't need sandals or strength training
@@alessandroraso3602 By day 10, I already have 18 team members. I need to mass train my team in everything. By Day 30, I already have an armor guy with armor lvl 80 who can produce specialist grade leather armors and properties in 4 major cities and two bases, an unwalled one in Squin and a walled one near a Holy Farm. We are playing a different game. LOL
I have the mod where I can recruit captives and I did a similar thing with a gorillo and a pack of beak things, I trained their toughness by STR training martial arts on them to around 100 before taming them and by god, animals are op with high stats.
Most fun thing that I know from kenshi is that goat spawn with random damage, and they could get the damage of a meitou katana. So imagine finding the right goat and train them like in this video. Actual menace
Nah, go to Skinner's Roam, find a pack of 40 hungry bandits, sneak up and attack the rear-most bandit, then run away until he rejoins the group. Now, activate sneak mode and follow the group closely. Since attacking the bandit marks the whole group as hostile instead of neutral, you get way more XP for sneaking around them. You'll have 80 stealth in about five minutes at max speed.
Ive killed Cat-Lon with my bonedog. Its not a big deal. Bonedogs are flat out overpowered if you micro them a little. Of the two, id say Cat-Lon was the bigger prize, considering that he wears **some** armor. Buggy would get bitten once or twice and lose a limb or get knocked out. The problem with training animals is always the same - how to give them more dexterity and attack without killing the training dummy. The only answer i came up with is: 1. Have a LOT of training dummies. 2. Have a full staff with nurses, surgeons and doctors at the ready, to prevent the dummies from bleeding out. 3. Make sure the dummies can be realistically obtained. Grabbing King is post Cat-Lon content. Id suggest elder beak things. The next question is - is it worth it? Is it worth it to spend so much time training a bonedog, just so he can kill one of the bosses? And the sad answer is - no. Two crossbowmen will do the same shit for, comparably, cheap. On top of that, bonedogs are ludicrously slow. They go like 19mph? When average speed of your squad would be at around 22-23mph. Everywhere you could ever get with a bonedog would be quicker, had you not taken it with you. Someone will say "why not carry it?". The same can be said about crabs. "Just carry them into battle!"... yeah, nah. Too much hassle. Animals are excellent in the early game. Bulls win you battles you would otherwise lose. Dogs can hit way above their weight, allowing the rest of your squad to rest easy, as theyre lying about, knocked out - the bonedog will keep you safe, if you micro it. But then you reach mid game... and... you drop the bonedog at your outpost, and your bull is relegated to following the last guy in your squad of 10. If youre not taking part in some e-peen contest, animals aint worth it, other than utility. Keep a bull around, though. It can both fight and lug shit for you. Bonedog is far more limited (and limiting). EDIT: for the record - i didnt use the toughness trick. My dog had a mere 47 or so toughness when it took down Cat-Lon. Micro. Not brute force.
I wish they made it impossible to pause the game for 5 seconds when attempt to steel fails. Removed attack clickbait when running away so the AI logic is based on speed difference and their attack speed and weapon reach. Hope they will give all characters voices, at least important ones
This is what happens when Nintendo doesn't make good Pokemon games in a while
Bug catcher Bugmaster would like to battle!
Go! Houndoom John!
Imma add Bethesda to this
@@howardyoo4070Bethesda doesn't make Pokemon games
John Wick except the dog avenges his master
Don't mess with my feeder of yummy stuff, you just got John Woofed
I can't get over your Bonedog's name being "John". Next to "Kihaku", it looks funny as fuck
😂
This is honestly so sick i will be trying this in my games now

This was the first start I did for Kenshi and I still think its perfect. If you can make it out of Bast and to the Fishing village you're golden.
The spider play w the paladins was dope
for real
Your videos are really good man, hope you keep uploading
Love the video! My dream of training a wolfpack can finally be achieved.

Holy I never knew how much loot was in Narkos trap

the bugmaster vs the dogmaster
I was royally amused, good video
honestly i thought you repaired the robot spider just to unleash it into the dust king his tower xD
THIS IS THAT NEW TECH

fyi: those guards are special, as in they detect stealth MUCH better. Sneaks ;)
i also used the spiders lol. such fun
Loved the vid
Tell me you play a lot of Kenshi without telling me you play a lot of Kenshi 😂
dark souls dog transformation
cool video man
A quicker way to bait the attack to outrun anything is by spamming R while keeping the right click pressed to have the character keep walking
Dogs WILL eat from your bag, but only after their hunger drops to 225. At 240 they will eat any food off the floor. At 275 they will "Play Limbs".
But you need to remember to enable the food sharing from the settings?
Imagine what a horde of these mutant trained dogs can do !
oh that ragdoll animation gets me
I always assumed the dog was an emergency meal

So u gave him a skeleton spider plushie lol
And then fed him to the fogmen lol that got dark

I’ve always wanted to see an animal army play through. With a 256 mod you could probably beat Catlon with animals if you do cheese training
i cant believe john can defeat cat long...... insane....

It is, a lot of kenshi players just don’t look through the ai settings

instead of clicking on the fogmen you can just press r. it does the same thing but is way more convenient
This is what happrns when you mix high amount of attacks and a lotta stats

Pokemon playthrough.
Start to finish.
Only 1 crab allowed.
Cool thanks
Getting toughness 100 might be a grind.
I'm doing this
That's a good boy
Like, share, comment, you're too good to be this small a channel!
17:00 just drop the dog and run. Fogmen dont hunt animals, he can catch up just fine. Also dogs have bonus to stealth, just in case
Whahahah! Genius abuses!
Best way to train stealth is to sneak to mongrel and back.

i do this but with elder beak things in catun to train martial arts and other stuff on some of my characters
Wow
cool
For some reason my bonding pup can’t attack robot in bed
Sounds like maybe you didn’t do the part at 13:00 where you pick it up after letting it wake up. If you don’t, you won’t be able to attack it in bed.
sham's kebab method
I did it with king and managed to get my bonedog to 114 dex
Well now I know the next place to go to get myself some AI Cores. I've been desperately trying to get some and I don't want to import the game.
This may just get me back into kenshi
