Doei Chris and Marianne. Well done for persevering. That tea road in Turkey was a piece of cake compared to this. Time to get my anxiety level down as well.... ha ha! I particularly love the drone footage at the end, well worth that harrowing drive.
Gees. I took exactly the same route today with my rental Prius. Until 5.8km away from Ushiguli the road became daunting with all the rainwater running down, the road was black and the shear drop on the roadside was also black. I am glad I gave up just in time.
My word - Marianne you deserve an award for being the world’s best, most patient driver. Don’t drive at night! And people were overtaking!! the tea road in Turkey was a piece of cake. This is an adventure but not for the faint hearted. Well done Trudy xxx stay safe 🙏🙏🙏
I was at the edge of my seat watching you drive through those dangerous wet, muddy and unfinished roads. If I were you I would not listen to anyone who sent you to these remote mountain areas. Lucky Mariann is a good driver, but you guys have to be careful. God bless. Gloria and Dacia from New York.
This video is about Georgia and it's so cute.I'm from Georgia too and i'm enjoying that you are interested in georgia too. Thanks for travelling in my country because Georgia is very beautiful country with so many beautiful places and nature and in culture stuff.Keep recording interesting videos we like that tourists are enjoying Georgia.
Chris and Marriane, I am sure you will never ever try such adventurous journey again any countries. You both must have so much courage to do that. Please return Turkey safely.
WOW Marianne what a driving 🤩🤩🤩Even we Georgians are not brave enough to go to Ushguli without 4×4. Love your attitude 🥰🥰 Hope you are enjoying my country 🇬🇪🇬🇪🇬🇪
Flipping Eck... Scary or what. Trudes did great and Marianne drove brilliant. Chris was brave. Great to see you guys exploring another country in true TtG style.
My heart was pounding when you were driving up that mountain, well done Marianne for being such a calm driver and to Trudy for making it through that....I hope the village was worth it!...👍
OMG Guys!!! Watching this one in my bed, so I'm not on the edge of my seat😀. Crazy roads & a Crazy day!!! I am hoping you didn't have to go back the same way? Imagining it in the winter, oh no way!!!! Safe travels Guys☘🥰💐.
Hello ambassadors Maryanne has nerves of steel. Chris, thanks for the nice video shots on those mountainus roads. Cliffs were scary though. What I liked the most in this video is that you showed us a unique and a rare beautiful location. I loved the nature that surrounded this place. Drive safe and eat an extra slice from that bread, will you guys! Love always❤️❤️❤️
This video was killing me when you were driving through the hair pin mountain roads with the drop offs! I would have had a heart attack if I had been with you! It is a miracle that Trudy made it through all those water patches! The town is beautiful. Thank goodness you made it there and back safely!
Going back to my comment the other day about 4x4s and 8x8s... who needs them eh? Just take care if it rains as I think you got away with it today.. cracking driving Marianne.. you win driver of the day award
You both must have been exhausted after that drive! Thank Goodness Trudi handled the crazy road. Marianne, nerves of steel is a gross understatement! Kudos!
Hi Marianne Chris well you said take a look and I did it was fantastic well done Marianne for driving such a bad road first class driving it was a fantastic trip along this road so glad I went back to watch it ,I don’t understand how I missed this ,till next time take care keep safe, John 🌹🍻🍻🙏👏👏🥰✅✅
Thank you! 😃 - It is a very busy world of videos on RUclips and sometimes things get lost 👍 Thanks for watching and there are more adventures to follow !! 🌺
I watched this entire video with my jaw dropped! 😮😮😯😯😱😱 On a rainy day I don't think you would have gotten to the top. And those rock overhangs that went past vertical!!! So scary! What that "road" must look like in winter! I don't know if I'll be able to relax until I know you made it down safely! 😉😉❤❤😎👍xx
Hi - Mr/s P sorry if we gave you jaw ache - we actually felt like we had been to the gym after being so tense 😂😀No way we were doing those roads in the rain !! We are back down and yes we had to take the same road - few more jaw aches in the next video !
It takes some guts to drive to Ushguli. We were in the hands of a very experienced driver and it was still petrifying. But what a place - it should be on everyone's list who visit Georgia. Lovely to revisit these places with you.
That was a crazy road. I couldn't believe when you went through those last few puddles. However, the views were so stunning. That village and the mountains were so beautiful.
Hey hey, my lovely van lifers. Thanks for making my evening once again, you both always put a smile on my face. Keep up exploring and stay safe! 🙏 All the best 🌷
I would have turned around about one-third into the trek. I would have been worried about the underside of my car and damaging underneath. We have several roads here in Pennsylvania where you have to drive through a stream and sometime have to wait until a single file of ducks pass, but at least they close off the road after rain and is closed all winter due to icing. You're a legend Marianne to smile the entire way. You looked very confident. I have a feeling you can do anything. Best to you and Chris, Jane, Philadelphia
Watching your drive to Ushguli was frightening. I wanted to swim through the water in the road. You are both brave explorers. Sally, the older Mrs. Peatow.
Thanks a ton 😍 I literally love getting messages from your family !! We love adventure and we love to share so knowing you are enjoying it too .... makes it just wonderful !! Thank you - love to the family xx
congratulations on reaching another milestone . 60,000 subscribers.wow!!! great driving by the way. who needs a 4 x 4 when you have Trudy.... spectacular views. it must be cold a night with all those snow capped mountain tops. cannot wait for your next vlog, please keep safe. best wishes from Middlesex
LOL !! That is hilarious ... I wish I had some too !! Thanks for coming on the adventure with us and as you know ... there is a lot more madness to follow xx
WOW guys, you are so brave travelers!!!.I hope one day to see you here in Canada from Banff and Jasper in Alberta through Kelowna and Vancouver in British Columbia. At least you won't need to concentrate SO MUCH on the road and all concentration will be on the beauty of the mountains.Like famous Russian song writer and singer Vladimir Visotsky said in one of his song."Better than mountains can be only other mountains where you haven't been yet" .May God bless you both and keep you safe.

It's like that everywhere, and it's not necessary, but the companies care only about their bottom lines, not about tourism and scenic views or quality of life for the people living there (my rant, thank you very much).

@@TREADtheglobe I know, but don't you get tired of the "it's cheaper" excuse? We have that here, and I am sick to death of it. I love a country that allows that - it tells you a lot, and it's all good!

😱 those were some very scary roads. Chris you stressed me more than the roads😂🤣 Marianne has nerves of steel. Did you have to come back down those roads?
OMG, it was crazy. Marianne deserves an award for her driving, cant believed it. My wife could not see and it was hard to watch. Well, i would suggest not to take such risk coz you can damage dear Trode as well and stuck somewhere. Still well done 😍
Challenging nice trip! Nice village! Someday , maybe you can visit villages up in Our mountains . I got trips like that too when I tried to visit it. I just close my eyes pretending im asleep, hahaha.

I love that you two are ready to tackle just about anything. I think those views, food and the dog were worth the drive. How do those people survive in the Winter? See you Sunday, take care.
