@Sasha Reade • The idea I like best is using the tissue paper over printed paper. Unlike you, I don't consider ALL the papers in a pack "lovely." There are usually at least one or two that continually get passed over. The tissue paper overlay seems like a great way to finally use them.
I love the look of the gold pen, the metallic wax, and the mixed in mica powders. They gold is bold but the subtle shine of the other two are perfect for some backgrounds.

Love your ideas...just a note I have found that glue stick doesn't last. After a few months it lifts.

Isn’t it just typical!! You hold onto a whole lot of something, decided you’d had enough of it taking up space and, get rid of it. Then! a genius crafter named Sasha comes along with another brilliant idea and you are kicking yourself for getting rid of……….tissue paper 😠 🤬😡😤
Exactly! I kept thinking that it seemed like it corks be another form of rice paper
I use my xyron machine for this.
When you did the ink droppers (#4?) And had the one card front, I wondered how it would look if you did a base layer with ink on card and then mica colors on the tissue and then add the tissue to the card... did that make sense? Just wondered because wet tissue paper becomes transparent. Always good ideas! 😊

She actually used tissue paper from the dollar store...so yes cheap is just fine.
