Hi. Me too!
I love your cup idea for your strips! I have saved mine but didn't think about having in front of me. Brilliant with the glitter ✨ Great cards!!
I am so happy for you and your family❣
spectacular!
THANKS. I just found your channel. I ❤ it. THANKS for using A5, cm etc not American. 😉🕊❤️. I love your cards and RUclipss. 😉🕊❤️🇩🇰
I love this tutorial and especially using scraps.
Your scraps make beautiful usable cards pieces!!
Absolutely stunning cards Sasha…and quite the lesson in the beauty of mixing colors we wouldn’t have otherwise chosen as well! I kept strips for awhile but found the task of gluing each on onto a card was tedious and messy…and now that you have shown us how to avoid that with double stick tape, I’m off to the kitchen to find a couple “SASHA JARS!” 🤣 Thank you so much for your time and best of luck with your construction project.
ha ha i LOVE my peanut butter jars, they are the most handy things ever!
Hey girl, it's margaritas for me! Been working on scrap cards the last couple of days. They never end!
Fun, economical, and beautiful, all at the same time!❣️
I loved your video, I am making one as I watch your videos.
Beautiful 😍 thank you for sharing Sasha, these are amazing for a quick make and using up scraps, will make few myself for sure ❤
Thank you Marta, been feeling inspired by your videos lately
@@SashaReade Thank you so much Sasha, so happy you like my tutorials 🥰🥰🥰

Once again…really fun!!
The colour combinations were so pretty.
How exciting about your new craft room!!
Sasha, these are gorgeous! Thanks so much for the great ideas!
I love the cards but I think what I love more is how cheerful and happy you sound!
Awe, Laura, you are so sweet, your comment put a smile on my face
I really like Sasha....easy to follow and l don't have to hear stories intertwined with dog stoies,, kid stories, construction stories stories
WOW!! Simply gorgeous cards Sasha, they seemply make my heart sing! TYSM
What fun!!! I will be saving my scraps!! Cheers from 🇨🇦Calgary, Alberta🇨🇦
yay, they are so handy you wont regret it
Pretty cards! I have my strips ready and rearing to go....lol.
Thanks from the US, Love the cards. Always looking for new ideas
Awesome video. Thank you so much. Love your cards, ideas and techniques. Amazing idea!
Thank you so much
Great cards, I love to use my saved strips too.
I do like to make cards with my scrap and enjoyed watching your. Thank you
Lovely cards Sasha, will make the most of my scraps from now on ☺️
what do you do if you have a cardboard box that is 9 inches x 18 inches x8 inches full of different sizes of scrapps. yes i always enjoy your videos they are very joyful.!!!!!!!!!!!
ha ha i then pull out sheets i want cards from and make strips! i usually take my left over scraps of foil and glitter card and make them into strips to put on projects! the rest i take my punches, punch into shapes and drop off at the local schools for crafts! Clears them out nicely
@@SashaReade thank you for the ideas
What an awesome way to use scraps! My hubby is always moaning telling me to throw my scraps in the bin
Cannot wait to see your new office and love the size of the pool x
Yes i hate tossing strips they are always beyond useful
Hi. Same here. Unfortunately I think I am a bit of a hoarder as it pains me even to throw out the remnants of the die cuts, there's little ziplock bags all over the place! 😆
I like to make panels like this and then emboss the. Very pretty. And I find that rubbing on glitter with the shiny side is easier on the fingers
You just said it's nine o'clock on Saturday night in the UK... I didn't realize you're that far ahead of us here in the states. Central time for me in Alabama is a little after 4 p.m Saturday afternoon. Sasha I hope you rest well tonight.
I have to tell you these cards are beautiful! It's been a little while since I've stopped to watch any RUclips videos, and I just have to say these are so nice. I love seeing you use up your scraps like this. Thanks for sharing these, someone is going to love receiving them. ❤️
Oh Wanda you have made my night, thank you for your lovely encouragement! I really appreciate you watching my video and also taking the time to leave me a lovely message. Thank you
Thank you for speeding up the process and not wasting time blabbering about your yard or dog or grocery store like some of these videos do!
Another very beautiful cards, great tutorial 🥰
AMAZING! I have sooooo many scraps and die cut left-overs. I need to spend a week just using what's ready to go. I just enjoy playing with sparkly colorful products! 🤣😁 TFS
you should take your scraps and trim them in to strips! then you can crack on with some of these. I often do that with my specialty card- like glitter and foil
Love how you used prism glitter to hide the spaces!!
Beautiful cards Sacha 🥰 such a fun technique! And so fast recorded and edited 😅 Your garden must be full now having a trampolina and a pool in it 🤪
and we got some raised garden beds! We are loving our new house and backyard
Another great video to watch with my morning coffee! While I have used glitter to fill in my oopsies with strips - I've never thought about deliberately leaving gaps. Thank you. And enjoy (the after!) Of your renovations. It will be worth the inconvenience. I'm off to share your video with my card group.
It's a very handy little trick as im not a very perfect crafter :) Thank you loads for sharing my videos!
Wow Sasha, these are all so beautiful. I love making cards with scraps -- it makes me feel so very frugal. Thanks so much. 😊
Fabulous use of strips, you are so inventive. Thanks for passing on your ideas x Great pool too!
Very nice cards! I do the same... keep my scraps (in a drawer, but still accessible) and use them to make cards. I don't have a lot of shiny cardstock or glitter... something I might have to remedy. Thank you for taking the time out of your evening to share crafting with us.
I absolutely love my strips scraps. I started collecting them about 2 years ago, and i love them
Hi. I have just started to make an investment in some fancier cardstock on the strength of Sasha's videos. I've started to put a piece of copy paper over the shinier side and I find it helps a little to prevent scuffs and scratches.
@@deballen7031 Thank you for that tip! I'll remember that when I get some.
Please we’re did you get the extra wide tape ??? Xx
Oh gosh, i actually got it from a craft fair in the uk. That's the only place ive seen it. I wish I could give you a link but i cant even remember the store name :(
Just google 6" wide double sided tape...there's bound to be links to stock in your area. Good luck.
New subbie. Hello from Texas. Brilliant. Really enjoyed your video. TFS
Love your videos!!
Beautiful cards! I love saving/using my strips too. And in the US, what I do when I want to make a square card,I just mail it in a rectangular envelope.🙂❤️
Hi. Now that's what I call using smart thinking!😊
Yes someone else just suggested that, clever way of beating the system!
Love all of these! Like the scrap circles the best ❤
Thank you so much for your lovely scraps ideas...I love using strip's...
Wonderful designs. I took save my strips and di similar designs with them...but yours are even prettier ❤
Cute. Loved this style, nice job, you made me laugh, big thumbs up. Xx
New to your channel, looks like I found a scrapsoulmate :) Subscribing immediately, I love doing scrapstripecards :)
You`re actually my first birthday present this year, finding this gem of a channel :) Happy birthday to me, happy monday to you :)
Great ideas! Problem is, glitter is NOT recyclable!!
Awesome cards!
I just found you and I like your channel already! 😊
I enjoy making square cards, too, and the way I get around the extra postage is to make them no larger than 5 inches. (I'm from Iowa. ) That way it can be mailed in a 5x7 envelope at the standard rate.
Looking forward to watching more of your videos!😊
Love your square cards!!! I made my first square card today!!!
Scrappy strip cards are the best way to use up scraps in a hurry! On a rectangular envelope, I believe US postal machines look at the top right/lower left for the stamp, so on a square envelope they cannot do that. I do not work at the USPS, so this is a guess. 😄
Your strip cards always look great. Mine, not so much. You must have a high class jar of strips. Lol. I'm going to try again. Thanks.
New sub. Your scrap cards are so pretty! I'm in the US, recently cost .88 to send a 5x5 card (before the post office increase!). I used to keep scraps that are an inch or so, I'll keep the tiny ones now! Thanks a bunch :)
First time watching and I enjoyed . Thank you for sharing looking forward to seeing more episodes
The one thing that bugged me was the 1+ inch strip of tape that you crumpled up.😬 I always try to conserve my wide double sided tape, and plan how to lay it on my paper. But, thanks for reminding me to use copy paper instead of cardstock for that step! No sense wasting that, or making my card weigh more than necessary.
Just wish I knew what to use for my gaps. I don't think glitter would like right on a quilt card.😏
Glitter is not my thing, but I would put some gilding flakes in between and see how that works. Excited to try. My carding friends think I'm crazy for all of the strip cards I do.
I love the cards. They are so colorful 😍 💕
Need to try that🥰
One way of getting around the extra postage thing in the States is to have your square card fit into a standard sized envelope. I think I learned that from Jennifer McGuire.
Wonderful ideas...such pretty cards!
Wow, such great cards... New here
Thanks for the ideas
Hey u I am a newbie to ur channel and I am going to subscribe to it too, I have been crafting for a few years now but I don't think am that good at it so I love to watch tutorials on anything to do with card making, scrapbooking really anything paper craft I will give it a go, I am so happy I came across thing clip now I have subscribed and happy that ur from the UK to as there r loads and loads of American crafter's and they do crafts from the doller tree and Michaels and we don't have them so I am hoping that I can get loads of inspiration from some of ur videos as I will now watch and work through them and what ever takes my fancy I will give it a go and write the description on the making of the cards then I will take note in one of many of my books of techniques, thanks so much for give up some of ur time to do these videos for us to have a look at and craft along to xx
Really enjoyed this tutorial such fun ❤
Where did you get your large double size tape
Love this idea! Where did you find the wide roll of double sided tape? I can’t find it anywhere. 😢
Lovely cards as always. Glad you and your family had a good time today. X
Thank you Sandra
Beautiful thank you for sharing ways to use my scraps
EXCELLENT CARDS!!♥️🙏🏻🇺🇸🦅🎉
The black on the orange would look too halloweenish
Those cards are fabulous! Love the trick with the glitter. The mirror card stock you have saved up in strips is wonderful on those card panels. I love your channel. You are so talented and so "you" and you have a great sense of humor. Keep on crafting. I'll be right there with you with my own glass of wine.
Oh Roxanne, it's comments like this that keep me going! You are so kind and loving. Thank you
These are beautiful!
Can you do this on a 12 x 12 and then cut it into the sizes you want
Where and what is the roll of adhesive this is a great technique and that tape makes it simpler
Re
Where did you get your large double size tapl
Where did you get that double sided tape?
I like the speeded up video with your voice over. Very nice use of scraps.
My videos would be so long if i talked through them and you'd get bored watching something simple like laying strips. I get bored watching videos like that ha ha
I love the cards where did you get those cute little owls
Wow great ideas and lots of embelishment
I've never used dies to cut out elements, pretty cool 😎.
This is so cute, I'm tempted to go make some scrap strips ❤😂
Wow these are so colorful & pretty. I love them all. I have a strips jar too so need to get busy & creat something. I am in Arkansas USA & it has been hot, hot, hot here. High 90’s & low 100’s (Fahrenheit);🥵🥵🥵. Your pool looked so refreshing. Have a great weekend Sasha & enjoy your weather.
gosh keep cool! Lots of ice drinks for the both of us i think
Really enjoyed this technique tfs
I love these cards, thanks for sharing.
Can't wait to use up strips. Thank you
Love them where did you get owls?
Such a great lesson. Thank you!
Thank you for sharing your videos ❤
Wow! Superb! Thanks! 💕
Beautiful cards and a stash buster too, tfs
Can you do the measurements in inches ?
They looked Amazing!
DIdn’t think to do a frame around the circle to hide when the die cuts embosses the cardstock unintentionally. Can’t wait to start using that tip! And always love the stunning cards you share with us! :)
it really helps to draw your eye in. So pleased you liked it
I’m going to try and send a picture, cross your fingers.. lol!
It didn’t work, sorry!
Hi. I'm so glad that I'm not alone in not being able to get the hang of all this technology. I find it a right struggle, too many options and jargon! 😊
