Thank you! I've been looking for a video of this plane in the bulkhead seats. That is where I'm sitting when we fly to Paris in a week and I was getting nervous the tv screen was up high on the wall.
Hahaha, no, there are screens in the armrest, don’t worry 🤣 The screen on the wall is just for the safety video because you obviously can’t use the armrest screens until you’re up in the air 🛫 Enjoy your trip! (:
Very well done. Two years ago I flew Air France IAD-CDG-ABJ. On the outbound on the now retired A380, and to ABJ and back on the 787-9. The latter very nice indeed similar to the A350. Air France is doing a nice job these days.
Currently scheduled for Sunday March 28, 2021 However, I doubt that’s set in stone. It all depends how the Covid-19 situation develops over the next few months 🤷♂️
I didn’t fly round trip. If you check out my other Trip Reports (I’ve only uploaded half of them so far), you should be able to piece together my itinerary 🙂
From a blog I found on this: "What’s really interesting is that in normal Economy, your seat physically reclines backwards, giving the person behind you less space. In Premium Economy, your seat actually slides forward, and a foot rest pops up, allowing you to recline while having your legs supported. There is no leg support in normal Economy. Honestly, I wasn’t too impressed with the reclining seat at all. It didn’t really improve my ability to sleep on a plane the way I hoped it would. It was just a different way of reclining, but not necessarily better."
Will be flying on this beautiful bird in February 2021. Do u recommend premium ecomomy. If yes then do you think the last row has the same recline as the others ? 🙈. Flew to paris in business it was amazing.
I think it depends on circumstances: Do you need to get through the airport quicker? Premium economy helps as you get skypriority Do you want lounge access? You don’t get it with Premium Economy Do you want a quieter and more intimate cabin? Premium Economy delivers As for recline - I’m not sure, I didn’t look. But from what I’ve seen online, it seems like the last row does indeed have the same recline as the other seats - but I can’t guarantee that.
My hubby and I fly every two years to Germany. We’ve always used Delta in all our flying except where Delta don’t go. We never had a bad experience so far and hope we don’t. This past May we were suppose to go back to Europe but the virus stopped us. We rescheduled for April 2021 and hope we can make it! I love traveling through time differences but definitely not the jet lag. Great video!!!!!
Its a nice Video. May I suggest to give a little more detailled Seattour the next Time? That would be great. I was so curious how the new Preco Seats will look on the A350 of Air France.
The seats were extremely comfortable, with plenty of legroom, especially in the bulkhead seat that I had. As for recline, I don’t know exactly how many inches you get, but it’s certainly much more than economy.
In general, no. The only way to access the lounge free of charge as an economy (or premium economy) passenger is by having Flying Blue Gold or Platinum status, or SkyTeam Elite Plus status. The lounge is free, though, for all business class and La Première (first class) passengers.
@@flsal27 according to someone working at Air France, passengers have been complaining a lot about the downgrades you mentioned and the service in premium eco is supposed to go back to what it was next month (when they roll out their new 777 cabin)
The video is great, but I had to watch it in 0,5x because I was not able to read the subtitles so fast. :/ for example between 13:45 and 14:05 the text switches 7 times in just 20 seconds!
Why does the aircraft report not start until we’ll past half way through the review. The real pros know people look at these films to check out the airlines, not escalators at Heathrow.
I’m not here to copy anyone. I edit the videos in the style I like depending on what footage I have for each flight. Also, the ground experience is often a big differentiating factor between airlines, so wouldn’t it be weird for me to leave that out? Finally, this was my first ever trip report, so of course it’s not perfect. p.s. None of this video was in Heathrow. If you’re gonna leave shitty comments, at least make sure they’re relevant…
More please, Alex. 50 Euro for not very much. Was there a notice at the door saying "Mugs Enter Here"? Mug being an English, and maybe more, term for gullible people with more money than sense. My wife and I have had bad experiences with Air France and their Premium Economy product. Never again. Business class does not look great - every other seat isn't next to a window, they should charge less for them. Rant over, keep it going Alex. A fresh perspective, well done.
There’s more coming, don’t worry 🙂 And I agree that €50 is a bit much, especially for a Premium Economy passenger. I think Premium Economy should get discounted entry. But the thing is, I imagine the lounge is always well used, so they probably don’t mind if people pay for it or not, it’s just incremental revenue. As for the onboard product, I actually think it was quite good! The new cabins on the A350 I believe are a lot nicer than the 777 or 787 (although I haven’t tried either, just based on what I’ve seen others say). Business Class is all direct aisle access on this plane too, so it’s an improvement on some of Air France’s planes.
@@AviationAlexYT Premium Economy passengers get 25% discount on entry to AF lounges if booked in advance up until the day before departure (though now 60 euros so 45 with discount). Given prices in airports and the fact they have self serve branded champagne we are fully intending to try on our next trip which will be the first time we fly PE with AF! I imagine 3 glasses will cover the entry cost.
Thanks for showing bulkhead seat and power and video with headphone jack. I have been trying to find these details for hours!

great report! Im also going on that route soon and will also post a report! great seeing it being covered beforehand and mastered by you!
Great report Alex, keep going. Wishing you a lot of subscribers. Cheers from Slovakia
Thanks buddy 🙂
Great trip report lad...the landing was so smooth that i didnt even notice when the aircraft touched down😂😂

My experiences with Air France have been great! Much better than my home airline of BA...
Great report, that plane looks like a very nice upgrade over their older planes.
Thank you :)
What about the seats?
Do u know when they will bring it to DC?
Currently scheduled for Sunday March 28, 2021
However, I doubt that’s set in stone. It all depends how the Covid-19 situation develops over the next few months 🤷♂️
Aviation Alex I saw that they said it will come June 5th 2020 but it hasn’t Air France doesn’t come to Dulles yet
@@mohamedelhadjsidi9885 The A350 launch was pushed back because of Covid-19
Awesome view of the engine/wing. :)
Wing views are the best!
Great inflight product, specially on board the 350 👍✅..
How did you record the route from Flightradar24? Really nice to see the route flown
I screen recorded from the FR24 app on my iPad 🙂
Thanks. Hope you enjoyed your experience on board the AF A350. Did you fly back n business ?

Very nice video! What camera did you record it with?
GoPro Hero 7 Black :)
Some seats was empty and now this year it will be 10 years as I haven't flown Air France and I don't to fly with them again.
So this was filmed Last November, Why wait so long to upload it??
I was too nervous. I didn’t think anyone would watch 🥺

I've heard good things about Delta, not sure when I'll get to fly them though! XD
Thank you! Does the bulkhead also have the foot rest or just the leg rest? The other prem eco seats seem to have both
It's been a while since I took this flight, but if my memory serves me right, then yes I believe they do have foot rests.

Great work brother keep it up
Thanks 🙂
All this is nice but cannot see how comfortable the seats are, or not! And how much do they recline. All the gadgets are just gadgets…

Lounge access is NOT included in premium economy
3:26 Forget the flight. The fact of got to see Willie Dynamite in person is worth the ticket!
im taking the cdg yyz flight too wednesday in an airbus a350-900 in premium economy too
am just asking if you know the music
Not off the top of my head, no. And I’m not home right now so can’t find out yet, sorry
Yes, that’s the one!

What a smooth landing!
They reduced the meal service in Premium Economy, if I compare to my last month trip Detroit to Paris
Oh really?? That’s so annoying because it was one of the best parts about it! So what do you get now??
@@AviationAlexYT No more “glass” glass, cutlery was in wood. Basically, the same service as in Economy.

great trip report! The meals look delicious. However, I think the choices of food in the lounge is so few, it didn't worth the money you paid
I agree, the lounge was disappointing considering the high price
Noooo fast forwarding and music whhhhyyyyyy? Great video otherwise and even better ride
