Hey Josh!! great as always ordered my Short Rail T-Shirt Monday, cant wait to rock it at my next ANTI-PLAYERS-ASSOCIATION league night! also going to get a few more so I can wear in Vegas in August.
@briandavis2783 thanks, Brian! I appreciate the order. I would love to see a few short rail shirts in apa Vegas.. I've actually thought about trying to get a booth out there 😂
I missed a few games, lil Timsterino! Due to being out of town because of the hurricane. 8:55 10-ball in the side with draw. The 7 stops you and draw into the pack. Re-arrange the furniture and keep shootin' 👍
Nice break and run and overall match! I swear, Valley and Diamonds seem like two totally different games. Lot of small finesse movements with the Aramith balls and Simonis cloth on Diamonds and Valleys, I gotta really smack into that oversized cue ball and cloth thats like grass (at least the ones I always play on 😂)
I say the same thing about Valleys! I usually play on 💎’s I was wondering if Jeff didn’t feather that because it’s a Valley… I don’t think I would on an unknown table, but it’s 100% the shot if that 2 goes!
@@Amateur_Pool That would be nice. The Valleys around my area are trash with the big magnetic cue ball. Our diamonds are Simonis tho with the Cyclop balls, I like those much better.
@@drewvonporte The only somewhat advantage I've noticed with playing on the Valley tables is that the corner pockets are MUCH more forgiving. Our local Diamonds have the 4.25" pockets and that deep shelf. But on the flip side of that, playing those tougher tables is what forces you to play a better game and become a stronger player 💪🏻😎
Oversize cue balls are ridiculous. Throws off the entire game. Like hitting a marble with a bowling ball. Better to switch in your own all-white same size cue ball. If there is a scratch, just pop in the quarters. Always have plenty of quarters at the ready. Use an M&M's mini container (perfect size for quarters).
At minute 13:35 he should have hit with inside spin and get a straight line so that he hits the 2 ball into the 12 ball to throw the 2 ball into the corner pocket … then after the stun he would have had the 8 ball open for the bottom corner
Hey Josh! Just started watching your channel. I'm just getting back into shooting after a 5 year hiatus and I'm trying to remember what English i used to break hitting the second ball back in 8 ball. Do you use any English when you hit the second ball back?
Welcome back to the dark side! LOL... Thanks for watching my channel. I'm glad you found it! I made a short video on how I do my 8 Ball break (2nd ball break). Here it is... Enjoy! ruclips.net/user/shortscmQMv10y3x8?si=qKQyhJVurr-OFeGi
@@Amateur_Pool thank you and thank you. I've only had 1 run out in 9 ball since returning and 2 on the break. Haven't had any 8's on the break or runs yet, but I'm getting closer. I love the game and see the take well, but the speed is getting me right now. Thanks again and love your videos!
@drewvonporte thanks, dvp!.. you don't need weight. I carry enough weight for us both, bro! 🤣... also, I'd never give weight to any pirate, lol (eye patch joke. I know, I know, lame)
Broooo at 16:25 after all that deliberation and you try the highest margin of error safety. Why didn't you just go top short rail and back down to the 14? 😮 would have had two blocker balls and cue ball on the other side of the table.
Wearing the same Tee right now! (these Tees are friggin nice, by the way!)
Thank you bro! I wanted to use a quality tee. I can't stand the cheap tee shirts! I'm so happy that you like it. Thanks for buying one!

@procrastinator6902 most of the valleys we play on are kept up. Some have simonis. We always use a red dot cueball also.

Hey Josh, I have a team mate on the 8ball league that hates when I do the 2nd ball break LOL. I agree with you though on a 7' it is the best option.
@jkittelsen lol.. if it works, it works

What's with the coins under the rails?
They are used to keep score. When you win a game, you move it out to the first diamond. Win another game, you move it to the second diamond, etc.

That break was a tough one! It's pretty much luck at that point.
