Hi Fab Rats, do you guys send Merch to Australia?
You know it's really easy to change out that Ugly YJ Grill and put Real Jeep head lights in it. Lol. Great build
@@paulrogers1536 yes we do ship to Australia.
You need some sort of merch with Grandma Lolly's ditch on it. 😂
@@jilliansadventures4679 😆
The best 2 channel's on RUclips Fab Rat's 🐀 & Matt's Off Road Recovery 👌 👌🏼👍🏼👍🏼
Paul & Matt should be a comedy act 🤣 🤣
This ain't a comedy channel? I must have missed something somewhere. ; )
For a fact!!
Project Farm, there is another great one. Not about farming, product testing.
@@may2888 so true 👍
They aren't???
"Guaranteed to work until it doesn't", is the EBS. Eventual Breaking System...
That makes me want to take my wife out to the shop and play name that part! That’s hilarious I love those little bits of the show!
“How do you do that?” “I’ll show ya.” ... That’s a Good man right there! Somebody’s got to learn the young ones not everything gets done by computer!
Appreciate ya!
It’s so nice to see all the family and friends that are family come together for projects 👍🏼
“There we go. Guaranteed to work until it doesn’t.” I’m using that at work tomorrow hahaha
It seems to be a Fab Rat slogan, he has said it in previous videos too. :-)
guaranteed till I can't see the taillights any more.
At least i`m not crying at 7:00 am like the last post
Never ever a disappointing vid. Great content 🙂
Love the name that part bits!! Michelle, you’re a good sport! Love the channel!
Love "Name that part". Good job Michelle 👍 Make it a Screamin' Yellow⚡Jeep!! 😄
Good things come to those who wait! Missing this video this morning.
Me too
How nice of Paul's mom, to help out with the merch side of things.
Thanks for another great video guys!
As always great video with great content! This channel has really become one of my favorite channels to watch. Paul is just so great at fabricating and very diverse in so many areas that there is multiple types of videos to watch. Add to that the great personality of all these in his videos just makes for a very fun uplifting & informative video imho.
Being 75 myself, it is nice seeing old guys in your shop.
FINALLY I got some Fab Rats!! I dig these guys!
I have to admit, I never expected to see my Daddy (Max) on RUclips! Pretty Cool 😎 So is the Jeep!
@Selina Neve, it looks like your Dad knows what he's doing! "Flat as a pancake!" We didn't get a good look at it before your Dad took his hammer and dolly to it but it certainly looked good when he'd finished and that is some thick plate to try and move around. Congratulations Max and he certainly deserves your pride, Selina. Helping friends with your own skills and abilities is an admirable trait. 👍✊️
@@joseywales3789 He is the master at body work! And he’s one of my favorite people EVER!
@Selina Neve, Beautiful words of praise, I bet that Max is a humble guy too and feels a little embarrassed when people tell him how gifted he is. With Paul, Michelle, Matt, Jayme, Papa Dar, Max and all of the other nice, honest and hardworking people that are on this channel, I'd love to live in the community. 👍✊️
My JKU on tons and 40s weighs 6500lbs without me and all my gear so easily 7000lbs loaded up. I wasn't even worried about the weight of my cage I am just glad it will work so I don't get crushed to death when I roll it over.
Some tractor pullers were upset when the roll cage specs came out for 2"x .134" DOM.
No one that has tipped one over since then has been pissed at how heavy they are !!!!
@@haroldphipps3457 exactly
This is one of the best youtube channels ever.
That looked like on heck of a party. Glad to see Matt & Jamie in the vid and Papa Dar in theirs.
I always get so excited when I see you guys have uploaded! I love seeing what Paul gets up to and love learning some of the techniques he uses!
Glad to hear the cage is not overly heavy ,cheers. Enjoyed watching , thanks
I love that Paul and Matt are a couple of goobers that love hanging out with each other.
The 11 people who gave you guy's a "thumb's down", must really be living a sad, sad life. My two fav RUclips Channels are Fab Rats and Matt's recoverey. Please keep the vids comming....you guy's are awesome in what you do and very funny too. Greetings from South Africa.
Michelle, you are hilarious! 🤣 I love your willingness to play along with What's that Part!! If it was me playing the game, it would be called Stump the Chump! 🤓
You know, you guys don't have to end every video at almost 11 min. I'll watch hours of b roll!
Here here...!!!👍😆
I had to go back for a minute... I said to myself did I just see a singing duck? Nice one. I cannot compliment enough on the build. Big shout to the body guy, I mean no pressure or anything on hand-built fenders. I am in the Northeast and people think they can build then I send them this and well there are some bruised egos. Well done.
You "should" be able to just buy the right bearing from McMaster. (Or other industrial supplier.) The right size bearing exists. But it may not say it is for a rear end on the package.
yeah , as long as you know the ID , OD & depth of it , any supplier with a decent catalogue can supply it
"Break Rooster" I love Name that part. Lol. Lmao.
I thought she said brake brooster. Either way sounds much better than it's boring real name.
@@TrevorDennis100 crap, she may have. Lol.
If God see's fit to rake me now at least i will go satisfied that i got to see "name that part with michelle" one last time...life is good. Michelle is just to awesome.thank you guys for knowledge and humor.
I really enjoy watching this channel. I’m going to order a couple of shirts, one for me and one for a friend over in Wisconsin who’s also watching.
You guys should use STEEL-IT to protect it , it also looks bad ass although its a bit pricy you could weld over it too
10:25 Matt's parable of the seal
Fab Rats my favorite RUclips channel
good job guys all the work to that jeep and very few redo's or missed parts thank you all for the upload
I have a question for you......You had 3 or 4 videos for Scott's build and Paul said he had 110 hours in that project!!! So now you have 10-12 videos for papa Dar's jeep project how many hours do you have in this project..??? .. Never a disappointing fabrication video. Great video again cant wait for the next project...!
My absolute favorite channel. Keep it up guys . Love all the content👍👍👍
Michelle is a trooper and very funny. My wife and i really liked tge redemption part where she comes in with hair dresser 'parts'.
Michelle cracks me up!!! LOL!!!
Good thing Matt showed up...uh why was it good Matt showed up...? It's usually fun when he shows up.
GETTING CLOSE, CAN'T WAIT TO SEE PAPA DAR ON THE TRAIL.
Paul and Michelle , Name that part Is EPIC :-))
Everyday I watch one or two of your videos. (Found your channel a few weeks ago) and it's been really cool to see the whole process of various projects, this awesome jeep being one. Its great to see your kids learning so many invaluable things about life, creativity, and trying things. Not glued to a cellphone or tablet but actually evolving into capable humans. I'll watch every single video you post and show my support anyway I can. Looking forward to getting me one those fancy Fab Rats ball caps and a tshirt soon.
Note to self: The one thing that made the corporate 14 bolt axle a true, reliable alternative to the tried and true Dana 60 is now the 14 bolt's Achilles heel!
When did they stop making the smaller pinion support bearing?! That's the craziest thing I've ever heard! Less favorable, but it's still a 14 bolt axle! Heck, if you were going to grenade that differential... I seriously doubt it would make much of a difference on that pinion support.
*THANK YOU PAUL!* I'll spread the word around here in my area of Texas; we can't just buy a 14 bolt anymore, not without pulling the third member/pinion to make sure it isn't the smaller support bearing.
I used to really love gas welding, nothing you can't do with that that you can do with TIG and some things even Tig would struggle with, old school.
She did a wonderful job packing up my shirt and hat!!! Love them and omg was so awesome seeing you guys had 5x lol I'm a fluffy dude and needed it 👍👍❤
you always have so much fun doing these, good for you.
Thanks for posting! 👍👍👍👍👍 You guys are more fun than a barrel of fun things.
Glad Papa Dar arm looks better, good enough to drive this summer I hope.
Watched a few old derby videos of paul and matt today. Kinda made me want to put one one together.
You guys crack me up that’s why I keep watching 👍👍
Another great video Fab Rats
Love it Michelle you rock about time you get the Jeep outa your shop great job but Matt got his going first :))
Great video guys and gals... I love the Name That Part portion 😂😂😂😂
BETWEEN YOU AND MATTS RECOVERY, YOU GUYS ARE A JOY TO WATCH, YOU ALL WORK AND PLAY WELL TOGETHER. A PLEASURE WATDH YOPU GUYS, MAYBE IN THE FUTURE YOU ALL WILL UNITE.
People have attempted to use oil impregnated bronze bushings as a replacement for the bearing with dismiss results. They usually last only a few miles.
well i reckon that's a job well done guys and gals. The humour and bantering reminds me of my workshop days so thanks heaps for the grins and memories. Cant wait to see the end result papa Dar.
matt has brought me to your channel, just love you guys and familys ,i understand matt is michelle`s brother, sorry if i`m wrong...people alike meet...that`s what we say...so much truth in paul`s words about the cage and the rust...just another great video...greetings from the heart of the alps...
Matt and Michelle are good friends. No relation to each other. Matt and Jamie and Michelle and Paul met while doing demolition derby’s in Utah and have been close friends since.
@@josephsorensen7168 thanks a lot for the good background information,so i was kind of wrong ,very nice that i know their story now ....thumbs up....
OH No!!! it's bleed over from Matts channel
Thanks for ........ making me laugh
Lol haha great job you guys. Papa Dar can cruise the red rocks no problem. Ur all a tight families that help one another always.
Rhymes with snake rooster, perfect !
Nothing like teamwork and friends
It will last longer than the warranty, which is the end of the driveway 🤫😉
Good job 👍👍
I'm anxious to see the Jeep and the Corvair out on the trail 😁
Couldn’t like you all more. Thank you for sharing.
Thank you SIR. Great info! Metal work and lathe. I used a drill and files - to make a Cam Pin for a 351 Cleveland. Made it out of a broken drill bit. Had a micrometer to get the part made down to a few thou. Took me an afternoon - maybe 3 hrs - but it was worth the $160 the Steeler Ship wanted.! Cheers
Eventually it will be on the trail! We Hope!
Y'all are so cool! And you do great work!
Rymes with "snake rooster"!! 😂
I needed that. I'm here at work in the middle of a major winter storm and needed to get away. I love watching you all doing what you call "work".
Good job Paul love the cage bro 👍 I hate how some people have cage with only two pipes yours looks safe for my fam so I kn its a1 for your pops
I knew Matt was good-people, don't sweet the small stuff Paul, Matt I'll show ya how the cow ate the cabbage, ;-) , I was waiting for Matt to say, who's ur Daddy!, but he's to classy I guess, lol, great video guys, thanks for sharing.
I like the cage . Looks good and more than that it looks like it will protect who ever is in it. Excellent work on it. Put in a good seat and restraints and for God's sake keep your arms in if you go over. Maybe some grab bars would help....
Wait for the Willys project to start. Hoping that next. Jeep project is fun to watch. Now to see videos of it on the trail.
I love this channel so much! I gotta 👍 and comment as soon as it starts!
It's the only way I can keep up with what videos I have watched or not .👍👍👍
Same with Matt's🍌 videos too! 👍👍👍
Tig welding is the best welding process for getting out broken bolts. I’m an aerospace welder and we get out a lot of stuck bolts using tig.
I love this, "Guaranteed to work until it doesnt" (hits it again w a hammer) lol
Warranty... Back when I was working the company bought a new/different control panel for one of the machines I worked on. I got a chance to chat with the installer, as he was nearing the end of his work I think it was me that ask 'what kind of warranty does he provide?' He said a break light warranty, I didn't understand at the time and must have had a 'funny' look on my face because everyone was laughing but me. They then explained it to me, as long as we could see his break lights, it was warrantied... After I understood, I was laughing too. 🤣
Hot Dam now thats a tank. GOT SEE IT ROLL
Your comradery is what's missing in today's world keep it up please you are a pleasure to watch
Yep, putting in a pinion seal is a game changer.
"What's that part?" Took me out LOLOLOLOL
Where I grew up in northern Minnesota we Call it the tail light warranty
I TOTALLY understand the 2 years and then GM stops making the part. I have a 1981 Chevrolet short wide pick up with a 250 ci straight 6 cylinder. They made a certain exhaust manifold for two years, then they stopped. Since my exhaust manifold has been cracked for a long time I have been trying to find another exhaust manifold for the last 10 + years with no luck.
Thanks for the fun video guys!
what a beast! another great video thanks
When you need a bearing that is no longer available from the vehicle manufacturer you should go to a bearing jobber with the dimensions of the bearing and they will find a perfect fit for you since they have sources from around the world.
Thanks, what fun to see you fix what would be impossible for me.
Awesome video
Color of choice. Never heard of that color. Cannot wait to see what he decided on. Thanks.
That looked like a standard needle roller bearing. Auto parts store might not have them, but go to an industrial bearings place and they should have boxes of them.
That was funny but the sad thing is I have that song stuck in my head. Lol. Keep up the good work and stay safe out there.
Funny just had a pinion seal fail on my truck, now that Jeep is top heavy with Matt up there 🤪
My guess is it’s getting painted pink, seeing how it’s a girl truck !!!
Michelle’s “Wonder Pets!” reference FTW. I’ve blocked that show from my memory for years, but can laugh about it now.
Michelle, you didn't let us down. I laughed my head off when Matt ask you what part is this. It is your fault that I am now dead. I died from laughter. You are very entertaining. Keep up the good work. I believe that you are my favorite character on these videos.
Thank you guys, it was a long crappy day! And you turned it around and made it all better! P.S. Michelle you stuff will be going out soon!
Finally someone sets a diff up correctly. Maybe preloading the bearing was missing but passes in my book.. Love your work , from Australia.
that bearing could been found at granger! just need numbers they carry every bearing made, i needed a special bearing for wench on my 70' bronco sport that couldnt be found any where else.
Old school body guys are the coolest.
"When it rusts clear off i might not still be alive" 😂 doesn't have to last forever, its just gotta outlast me, that's what I like to say lol
I love these cross-over episodes.
