I'm watching this on my Poco f5 and I have been loving it, I waited 5 years for a new phone and my old phone was a Asus selfie 4 lite and I felt like I lived my life as a joke when comparing the phones.

I don't understand why a lot of people have a problem with the plastic back, I don't think it's ugly at all and at least not fragile, I like it.
I'm one of those who waited and didn't upgrade to Poco F4 coming from Poco F3. I'm glad I waited because this phone packs a lot for its price.

F3 has better amoled display and speakers than this
was not sure about the snowy back but in the video looks amazing!
If the internals are right this must be the best phone to buy for a headphone jack currently no good options with 3.5mm jack under 30k

It's so good looking.
Display is great, Performance is great (MOST important thing for me buying a phone), battery life is great, Cameras are Ok ( Least important thing for me buying a phone) and overall it's an awesome package for the price. Personally I rate it 9.5 out of 10.
You forgot the software which is the most negative thing on xiaomi phones.
@@DoctorFreakHW I heard that Xiaomi no longer owns Poco brand. Poco is a separate business entity now.
Its still the same thing. Software is garbage. They cant fix the notifications problems for years now. Dont get me wrong, price/performance is top but sw is not soo good.
@@DoctorFreakHW Yeah people say that a lot and I know it's true but I've been using my Xiaomi Mi Max for around 7 years now and it's on MIUI 10 Android 7. Haven't seen any kind of problems, yet!
Wow didn't think I would find another person that mains performance over other things in smartphone. You don't even know how hard it was for me to manage to find a good performance phone under 600$
watching this as I wait for my Poco F5 to arrive tomorrow. I am upgrading from my LG G8 ThinQ which I loved. The LG G8 is still working fine and honestly the only issue with it is the battery doesn't last me a full day anymore. I could have waited even longer before switching but this Poco F5 was the right amount of bang for the buck so I ordered it. I hope it is as good as advertised. I have used a chinese brand before, Realme 6i, and I was very pleased with it. This will be my first Xiaomi/Poco. I can't wait.

I've been waiting for 5 years for a good new phone. My current Poco F1 is still going very strong, but it's getting dated without an NFC (and a broken headphone jack).

Thanks for the video man really high quality production and well explained. I'm using iPhone 11 last couple of years and honestly tired of iOS, feels like Poco F5 will be perfect to get back into Android, and I'm not wanting to compromise on performance
why did you feel tired on ios? I planned to get by iphone 11 pro version over this poco f5 but now I am confused 😅

Really,this is the only phone with all the features i want without breaking the bank.But still,I dont need it,my Oppo A5 2020,my Redmi 9T and Realme Pad Mini still satisfy me.Soooo save my money for later...great job though Poco,respect!
It's the camera, I don't want to faf around with non stock app to get 4k60, bit add the option! Everything apart from the native app supports it

I have both F3 and F5 and personally I appreciate the lighter weight of the Poco F5 more, there simply wasn't any benefit for me from that glass back, the phone was in a case anyway and there is no wireless charging either. And it's not like it would improve structural stability either as both phones survive heavy bending.
Any other major difference apart from weight and headphone jack?
@@bobbrown-so2gt The battery lasts longer and the phone have more comfy temperatures to hold while gaming but otherwise it's pretty comparable experience
Is the screen nicer and better looking than the 11T PRO?
What about the face sensor? In poco F3 it was really awful. The Screen was not blocked properly during a call. It would be also nice to hear about call quality including loud speaker.

Bro did you testing graphics for asphalt 9?? It CANNOT play on 60 fps but idk maybe in 30days there is update and 60 fps on asphalt 9 become playable ..
the no micro SD slot is deal breaker for me, I have a big FLAC files collection and currently use a 256gb SD.

bruh we have the same phone lineup, finally bought this phone at 8 sept after using the Mi A2 since Dec 2018 (poor jasmine needed a well deserved rest). all i can say is this phone very worth the price if you're looking for productivity (except for the camera) since it can do multiple tasks without a slight lag.
Puwede ko i-consider ang brand na POCO pero wala silang physical store. Wala pa naman ako tiwala sa mga delivery riders ng shopping apps. Bale Sir Carlos mas ok ito kaysa redmi 12pro 5g.

0:22 Let's quickly mention that the 870 is very much a 865 with some clockrate changes, nothing but software. So Poco has used the same processor for the F2 pro, the F3 and the F4 !!
Also please for the love of god, install a custom rom on this phone
Thank you. The only thing bugging me on my poco x3 pro was the delayed notifications. Since this is a deal breaker for me which device do you recommend for timely notifications around the same price range??
My experience after using a Poco F4 for a year and moving to a F5 (My sister needed a phone with bigger storage so I gave the F4 to her):
The bad:
-Speaker quality went down significantly. Sound clarity on the F4 was beautiful. The F5 has the volume fro. The F4 but clarity is very poor.
-Light detection ok the F5 to adjust brightness of the screen automatically is extremely bad. The F4 was pretty good at this.
-They decided to remove 4K 60fps recording and dual video mode (the one where you could record with both cameras at the same time).
The good:
-It now has 3.5mm sound jack.
-Fingerprint sensor is waaaaaaaay better now.
-The new SoC is extremely fast.
-Camera quality was improved and now you have X10 zoom for pictures (still x6 for videos).
-Battery life was improved.
-F5 seems to heat up less than F4.
Notification delay?
Unfortunate to hear about light detection since that can be quite annoying. Usually it's software related so maybe they'll fix it. My LG was awful on past Android versions but was fixed on Android 10.
Best thing for the camera is to install the gcam and you're all set

Do POCO charge fast when using a USB C PD 3.0 charger with capacity of 45w or 65w?

It does support PD although it only says “quick charge” when charging, the estimated time from 33-100% is 33minutes.

I have been using Realme 5 Pro for 4 years, although the phone is still working and no lag, I think I need to get a new phone, coz I feel my Realme phone will shut down any minute. Purchase this phone and can't wait for it to arrive.

seems only the performance (30%+-) is the only upgrde here
f5 lower TSR from f4 (might not be important but its still a downgrade)

In my experience of this phone It's a shame they cannot get simple things working like pocket mode, notification delays (despite app allowed fully etc) and decent memory management (despite app allowed fully etc). What a joke that pocket mode doesn't even work out of the box, it's a 10 second test.

This is not my first choice but saw a ridiculous bargain and ordered it right a way after confirming the local Xiaomi warranty and brand new status with the seller.

Turn off Miui Optimizations on the developer settings may fix for delayed notification.

@@nniivekkappo7544 You can google it but I don't think it fixes anything and affects other things, it also resets your app permissions so you have to redo it. Better to turn off battery saver for individual apps, set them to no restriction, let them autostart and check your push notification settings. Oh and for Gmail turn on sync and check your labels to tick allow notification for every email. No missed notifications that way.
Which breaks other things in MIUI I believe? MIUI just needs scrapping, who wants 15 minute+ delayed notifications with everything not set to optimised for that app. MIUI is a joke.
currently i have iphone xr and want something new. iphones are too expensive, so i am looking at poco f5, nord 3 and realme gt2 pro - they cost the same at my place. what do you suggest of those?
Poco 5 since SD 7 gen 1 is second to SD 8 gen 2 in terms of performance. The pro version back camera is ugly as hell so choose the standard one with 12gb ram and 256 gb storage
go for realme gt 2 pro. it has better camera, good chipset. will be good then poco f5

Get the s21 ultra. Still a solid phone. Get the f5 only if you’re willing to use an adapter for the jack.
