Not that bald idiot at 14mins though. You can tell he wrote his solo out beforehand except it was in the wrong key. And he didn't realise what the blues scale was.
It was honestly a really great solo with a lot of "outside" playing (I'm sure that was Wayne was whispering his approval in his ear). Not exactly appropriate in the setting, but it was a good solo and you could see his fellow band members enjoyed it. Name calling isn't cool though. I'm sure that dude is playing PLENTY of gigs back in NY.
FUCK! Lilly can play!!! Please keep playing. Don't ever let anyone else's negativity keep you from something you are great at. You are an excellent trumpet player for your age. Please feel confident and keep going. Anyone that has tried to bring you down is jealous, I assure you. Keep going! You obviously love it!
Also, I felt a lot of passion and I was very emotionally into the piece. It was definitely extremely nerve wracking to be playing next to one of my inspirations, but it was very rewarding and I gained a lot out of it.
That duet on wish upon a start was awesome. She was right there with Wayne.
Thanks so much!
Awesome Lillie! 🎺
@@lilliechristie8590 I can tell you listened to louis and took inspiration from him haha loving it!!
she was totally awesome great chops.
Wayne is one of the all-time best! There ought to be a trumpet wall of fame! Those other trumpets were crazy impressive too!
2:27 u knows he’s serious when he switches to his trumpet glasses
IMAGINE having either of the duets VIDEO recorded for your musician résumé! Wow.
This band is crazy good. Don't much care for the set list. Wayne never disappoints,

Go Lillie!! Great to see a talented lead player who is also a young woman.
So you wouldn’t like her if she wasn’t a woman
Mike is really good! Wow, playing on par with the man himself.
Great job Lillie! Respect!
And also great job Mike! (and the rest of the band)
These trombone solos are awesome. Nice work kids.

I love the bass players emotions :)
Wow great sound Lillie!
Great job Lillie!
Thank you so much!
@@lilliechristie8590 was that you on lead trumpet?
The 🎺 player that accompanied Wayne on wish upon a Star has quite the sound. She was bigger in sound than he was many times!
This has got to be the best year he played with them hands down...
My personal favorite is "Maynard and Waynard". Mike Christie is killing it!
I like how all their faces look like if they're not enjoying it😂😂 but it was good to be honest 👍👍👍🔥🔥🔥
Love the nod to lead horn at 4:35.
My God that Lilly can PLAY!
Thank you so much. I really appreciate it.
She is very talented, but I kinda felt she was just playing notes and less passion. Maybe it was nerves, not sure.
Not dismissing that she's good, but I knew more tonally better people in high school.
Hello, I'm not in high school. I'm in my 4th year of college. Thank you so much for promoting young musicians!
Also, I felt a lot of passion and I was very emotionally into the piece. It was definitely extremely nerve wracking to be playing next to one of my inspirations, but it was very rewarding and I gained a lot out of it.
Adrian Condos on bari sax. Formally of the Disneyland All-American College Band, now with Lucky Chops.
Holy shit Lillie is crazy
why do they always make these genius musicians wear ugly uniforms
Are you crazy Lillie! You're not supposed to sound better than the guest artist! lol
They are good !
Wayne's airflow is filthy.
Nope best lead player in the world
Carl Carl. Good type of filthy.
sounds like the louis dowdswell version
Wayne did say it was the arrangement done for him and Louis at 19:02
Awesome
23:54 WOW!
Muy hermosa la chica q toca la trompeta me enamore de ella
Not sure if you realized, but I don't think this is in your 2016 AACB playlist.
Thank you!
34:15 name of composition pls
"Maynard and Waynard"
Trust me...Wayne holds a little back when playing with young people.
What's the leads trumpet name?
