She's 10 years old here with the KORK orchestra, she's already a professional singer since the age of 8 years old . Considerind all the performances she has done at different ages and the quality of her interpretations she is in my opinion the best singer on the panet precisely because no one else has reached her level by comparing anyone at the same age as she is and very often even at the same level as very well-known artists.

Angelina will continue to shock you as she sings at different ages in different genres. You not only get her amazing voice(s), but you get her own arrangements-and the versions are different each time because she’s a jazz singer giving us true, extemporaneous singing.
You need to see her now, at 18, really letting that voice go like I’ve never heard before with a live performance of an original song, Bad Valentine, at a small jazz club. It’s 180 degrees opposite of Summertime, and you’ll be stunned again by her delivery with attitude, her power, and that effortless talent. Thank you guys I think 10 yrs old ,just sublime, she has sung this song many times here with the Kork Orchestra which is an honour to sing with. she sings it differently, because of the event , the Louis, Ellla style was firstly at Norways got talent at 8 yrs old this performance is more her version and my favourite by anyone, if she is with a jazz band she is more jazzy the girl is a musical savant, More AJ anything is great, any age.💜👣🤯

Don’t forget, this is live, no autotune, no lip syncing, just pure hard work 4-6 hours a day, 7 days a week, 52 weeks a year since she was 3-4 years old, plus a taught ability to read, deconstruct, and rearrange music in an after school music program, taught herself how to sing by watching jazz videos on RUclips with her Grandma Mery , according to her. Born Angelina Jordan Astar on January 10, 2006 in Oslo, Norway to her Norwegian mother, Sara Astar and her Swedish father, Gerry Christian Slattman.
Angelina started singing around 18 months of age, after listening to Whitney Houston on RUclips. She quickly became obsessed with listening to music videos and her maternal grandmother, Mery Zamani got Angelina interested in classic jazz.
Mery Zamani is Iranian and was a prodigy as an artist and poet while growing up in Iran. Angelina attended the Oslo Waldorf School and participated in the Oslo School of Music and Performing Arts after-school program, where starting around age 4, she had training in music but no vocal training. Her teachers were smart enough to not attempt to change what she was doing vocally. More recently she along with her grandmother have designed and made the clothing she wears on stage.
Why Angelina always performs barefoot At age 6, while traveling in the Middle East with her mother and grandmother, Angelina noticed a girl around her age standing on the side of the road, asking people to step on her bathroom scale to be weighed in hopes of getting some money. Angelina took off her shoes so as to not get the scale dirty and stepped on the scale many times to make the girl feel better. Angelina befriends the girl who was not wearing shoes and has scars on her feet, and learns she is an orphan. The orphan girl tells Angelina how beautiful she thinks her shoes are. Angelina says her shoes don’t fit her well and she wants to give her shoes to the orphan girl who thanks Angelina for giving her the shoes. Angelina asked the girl what she wanted to be when she grew up and the girl replied, “I want to become a doctor, but that will never happen since I have no parents and I have siblings so I have to do whatever is necessary for us to survive.” Angelina told the girl to never give up on her dreams. The poor girl asked Angelina what she wanted to be when she grew up and Angelina replied that she wanted to sing for the whole world. The poor girl said she would pray every day so Angelina’s dream would come true. Angelina still says she thinks of that homeless girl every day and has always performed barefoot to remind her of all the children who are less fortunate.
At age 9, she became the youngest published author in Norway’s history by writing a book about this encounter in the Middle East. PLEASE PURCHASE Angelina’s book from her merchandise store on her official website, angelinajordanofficial Angelina, at age 6 and 7, did record a few songs in a recording studio at her school, most notably “I Who Have Nothing”, a truly remarkable performance for a 7 year old. At age 7, Angelina’s audition on Norway’s Got Talent, was a cover of Billie Holiday’s “Gloomy Sunday”, a song which was banned by a number of European countries during World War II because authorities worried the song would increase the suicide rate. Truly bizarre that this is the song to launch the career of a child musical prodigy. One of the judges on NGT cried. Angelina had turned 8 years old for her next performance on NGT, covering Billie Holiday’s “I’m a Fool to Want You” singing acapella which was required by NGT unless the singer also played an instrument while singing. This was the Judge’s cut round of the competition and was not performed in front of an audience. In the Semi Final round of NGT, Angelina sang “Bang Bang” which was written by Sonny Bono and was first performed by his wife Cher but is best known sung by Nancy Sinatra. The improvement in each performance is incredible even though there were only a couple months between them. In the Finals, Angelina did a cover of George Gershwin’s, “Summertime” and won the contest, capturing 46% of the votes from the ten finalists. When asked what she would like to do with the prize money she won (500,000 kroner or about $80,000), Angelina replied, “I want to give it to the poor children”. Angelina had become a star in her native Norway and her videos on RUclips went viral. She gave a few concerts during the summer of 2014 while 8 years old. In December 2014, Angelina realized a life-long desire to sing at the Save the Children's Peace Prize Celebration which is part of the Noble Peace Prize celebration. Angelina’s family took her to United States, Brazil, Germany, France, United Kingdom, Russia, South Korea, Singapore among other corners of Earth, to perform for heads of state and to help raise money for charity. All before Angelina turned 14. At age 9, Angelina recorded a music video covering the 1956 Jay Hawkin’s classic, “I Put a Spell On You”. The video begins by showing Angelina writing her “wishes” for how she wants to perform the song. Angelina has always created her own arrangements for her cover songs. At age 10 and just a week before her 11th birthday, Angelina recorded a demo of “I’m Still Holding Out for You”. Her family never pursued having that recording officially released but someone leaked it on a RUclips video. Thankfully, everyone involved with that song is now ok with the leaked version. Many angels (fans) believe this is one of Angelina’s best performances. When Angelina was 11, she performed a number of concerts in Norway with a jazz/rock band. Those concerts included up to 14 songs, each remarkably performed. Angelina seems to be at her best when on stage, never nervous, only 100% confident. Also at age 11, Angelina recorded her “It’s Magic” album which has, at times, been in the top 10 best selling jazz albums. On June 27, 2018, at age 12, Jordan performed Frank Sinatra “Fly Me to the Moon” for Quincy Jones in The O2 Arena in London. She has said that was the high point of her young career which was already in it’s 6th year. During 2018, Angelina lost her paternal grandfather, her friend Avicii and one of her idols, Aretha Franklin. She did a moving tribute for each. In 2019, Angelina accepted an invitation to compete in the 2nd season of America’s Got Talent (AGT), The Champions. She had, since age 3, wanted to perform for Simon Cowell and she earned his praise with her genius arrangement of “Bohemian Rhapsody”. The surviving members of Queen loved it so much they put a link to it on their Twitter. Angelina was eliminated after covering Elton John’s “Goodbye Yellow Brick Road”. Angelina’s family refused to sign any agreement with AGT. Angelina, before age 14, had covered more than 130 songs from 80 different artists, spanning at least 8 genres, all of which are available on RUclips. Angelina has always made changes to each song she covers and often her version is preferred over the original. On RUclips, search on The Complete Works of Angelina Jordan as Rusty Shackleford has put all songs in one file and has a complete playlist in the description of that video. The pandemic hit shortly after her performances on AGT and likely caused a change of plans by her family, most notably her Uncle Michael who is her manager. Her family agreed to a contract with Republic Records in August 2020. Republic Records declared Angelina Jordan their highest priority new artist. Reportedly her family requested Republic to allow her as normal a childhood as possible and therefore have yet to fully promote her. During the pandemic, Angelina was often seen buying meals for the homeless on the streets of Los Angeles. In November 2020, Angelina released “Million Miles” which she wrote after the passing of her beloved maternal grandfather. She dedicated the song to anyone who has ever lost a loved one. Angelina had previously released, 3 other original songs: “What is Life”, “Oslo” and “Shield” In April 2021, her original “7th Heaven” was released. A jazzy, danceable, inspiring song. Angelina has posted numerous short performances on Tik Tok and Instagram. Angelina had concerts in Norway in July 2022. In December 2022, Angelina performed at the Asian American Awards in Los Angeles. On 2/27/23, Angelina performed at the FIFA Awards ceremony in Paris, France, with a viewing audience in the millions. On May 5th, 2023, Angelina released her original "Love Don't Let Me Go". On July 23th she released her orginal EP “Old Enough”.
Angelina perform Concert at the Music Hall in Portsmouth New Hampshire on Sept 22nd, 2023. It Was a great concert, who was not and could regret it, a big mistake. On 10/27/23 she released her new orginal singiel “Our Time”. In November 2023, she was presented as a debutante at Le Bal des débutantes in Paris. On 12/08/23 she released new Marry Christmas EP “Driving Home for Christmas”. On 12/10/23 she sing in Oslo at the Nobel Peace Prize Celebration - Unchained Melody tribute to 2023 Nobel Peace Prize laureate Iranian human rights activist Narges Mohammadi. On february 29, 2024 she had two concerts in Las Vegas, Nevada,on the Elvis stage.
On May 16, 2024, the first fruits of Angelina's cooperation with Tobi Gad were released. This German composer and record producer based in Los Angeles invited Angeline to an intimate concert at the Hotel Cafe JESSE & FRIENDS, the same one where Adel sang and was discovered. Tobi then took Angelina to London, where she performed His song If I Were A Boy at the London Palladium, and they recorded two versions of the song, Live At Saint James Church, and another studio version illustrated with a film from the streets of London. It seems that Tobi has started cooperation with Angelina and there are several joint songs in the pipeline. At the May concert in Los Angeles, one of them was presented: BAD VALENTINE.

Her grandmother first exposed her to jazz and she starting searching you tube videos when she was three. At 6 she first started working in the studio in an after school program. Age 7/8: Norways Got Talent.
She asked to go on the show at age 5 but had to wait until she was 7. You could do her performances individually with judges comments, or react to the all in one video without judges comments. She selected the songs and contributed to the arrangements. I believe she is the youngest person ever to have won this level of talent show as a singer.

Age 13: Bohemian Rhapsody
AGT Champions: She got high praise, a golden buzzer and Queen gave her the copyright to her version of the song. Her manager, her uncle Mike, refused to sign a contract for her AGT appearances that included her having to sign up with Simon's record label, so the video that includes her receiving the golden buzzer was taken down and is much harder to find. She eventually signed with Republic Records at the age of 14 as the studio showed a lot of respect for her talent and her family's concern for her young age. They gave her her own studio with part of the contract reportedly being that they were not allowed to promote her as they would other new artists until she was older, perhaps 18.

She wrote this song Million Miles for her grandfather who had just passed away.

Age 17: Unchained Melody.at the Nobel Peace Prize Concert:
Here she is this past December singing Unchained Melody. At age 5 she told her Mom she wanted to sing at the Nobel Peace Prize Concert and sang What A Wonderful World at the children's concert at age 8. She is the only child singer asked to perform more than once at this prestigious annual event held in her hometown of Oslo, Norway. She has played with the KORK Orchestra many times over the years. Here she honours the recipient, an Iranian woman and female rights activist who is jailed in Iran The woman's two children are sitting right in front of her as she performs - especially meaningful to Angelina to have the honour of performing as her grandmother is Persian.

I want to see y'all react to her *very first* recorded performance (as far as we know), reportedly at 1½ years old, singing (bits of) Whitney Houston's version of "I Will Always Love You" (she's singing along to a karaoke track, and using a real wireless karaoke mic). A few things to note before you watch it:
1. It starts to repeat midway through, but there's a little part later on that is not seen in the first half of the video, so you can skip from around 3m17s, where it starts to repeat, to 5m29s and watch until the next cut (about 9 seconds later), and you will have seen everything.
2. The woman heard singing behind the camera is her mother, Sara. She is trying to get baby Angelina to repeat for the camera what she had already done off-carmera. ("It was so sweet, I just had to record it", she said of the moment in a 2014 interview.)
Now for my own assessment of what is seen and heard in the video: In some ways, it's kind of what you would expect from someone so young: she actually doesn't sing very much of the song and, apart from the title line, which she keeps returning to at the wrong moments, most the words she's singing bear only a passing resemblance to the actual lyrics. But in other ways, it's absolutely incredible: her pitch is _extremely_ good considering her age (at least as good, I would argue, as her 23-year-old mother); she is singing with surprising "sensitivity" (IMO); and her "physicality" as she sings is so similar to how she would sing later on (some of which you've seen in your previous reactions to her) that it's very hard not to take the video as evidence that the phrase so often used to describe her, "born to sing", is, in her case, _literally_ true.

If you ever watch her Norway’s Got Talent finals performance of Summertime, age 8, notice several of her supporters in the audience are holding signs with Louis Armstrong on them… also it’s a different arrangement with a trumpet player as her side man. The reactor estimated the age of The Barefoot Angel based on her appearance; no reason to criticize him. The meaning of blind reaction is that you don't do any research about the performer beforehand.
