Those words have a powerful meaning, especially because it comes from one of the greatest shows from the 1980s, Knight Rider.
I grew up with the show, and still love it to this day. So I decided to create a number of Knight rider intros. So sit back, relax and enjoy the first video in the series.
I had to start with the original theme and the intro. The original introduction was so mysterious, and is quite well known for KITT zooming into the camera (or away from the camera for that matter).
So here it is: classic knight rider clips, the original theme from the original show (originally composed by Stu Phillips and updated by Don Peake) and that famous voiceover (By Richard Baseheart, who plays Wilton Knight in the Pilot).

As a kid in the 80's this was so cool. It was the best non sci-fi series on TV for me and I couldn't wait for the next episode to be shown on tv. Even now the whole thing is very cool, if not more.

Awesome stuff. Every child of the '80s will have watched this. Was one of my favorite shows. Back around '86/'87 i even had my picture taken sitting in KITT. (possibly a replica as i live in NZ, i remember the interior, dashboard and steering control was identical to the show car).
Man I just went through Airwolf,Magnum PI,Miami Vice, A Team!!! I miss being I kid in the 80's watching these shows!

Wow, I am from England I was born in 72 and I remember this in the 80s on a Saturday night. Essential family viewing Class class class ... feel bad for kids these days that they don't have the likes to enjoy now, I had a great childhood.
I'm 12 now and I used to watch this every Saturday night as well. Before it stopped. I still have most of the likes of you guys had back then, but what this generation is into today... It's kinda horrific if you look at it now.

To be fair there were lots of great tv themes in the 80's but this was one of the best & most memorable.

After school when I was 6 years old, I would run to my room turned on my small television and watch The Incredible Hulk and Knight Rider. I loved it.

I loved this when I was a kid, I had big hair just like Michael knight, and it just made my childhood the best. I used to pretend I was Michael knight when I was a kid. I loved him, the minute I first saw him and I still love him, he tickles me, I get a kick out of him.

Thanks! for bringing back my nostalgic memories of 80s era when I used to watch this on television screen with precisely I was pretty much crazy for watching this and moreover AIR WOLF and TALES FROM THE DARKSIDE too...wonderful actors, wonderful time, wonderful movies and their stories too i wish If I had a time machine or any kind of gadget I would love to go back in 80s era I am so lucky that I was born and raised in 80s that time there was no Facebook no WhatsApp no Instagram just chill my life the way I wanted to live it with my honda cbr-400 (1983) model, my radio/transistor, my video cassette player and my television with aerial one antenna...did you remember that time????...hahaha haaaaaa….😀

Just so classic...that whole intro just screams eighties...it just amazes me how something can be just so of its time, and yet sort of transcend it at the same time...fashions may change, but no one can say that a sleek, black pontiac firebird riding alone through a purple tinged desert at dusk, with that brilliant synth score playing underneath is not as cool as f*ck and always will be....
