- Hello! I'm back (again)(I know- surprise, surprise) with another video where I expose myself and my planning and journaling habits to make you feel a little more comfortable in this paper-loving community.
Instagram isn't always fake, but it is usually heavily curated. You might see a post and think "wow, goals" but how much of it is actually genuine? In this video, I give you some insight on my multi-book planner and journal system and what I do when I "fall behind" in them- because trust me, "falling behind" happens WAY more than you'd think- even has a person who's job is in the area :)

Thanks so much for talking about this! I feel like I’m always planner #2 when I’m stressed out and then I play wild card by coming up with a whole new system cause I convince myself the system no longer works for me when I abandon it! It gets a bit exhausting. Glad to know I’m not the only one :)

I have trouble keeping ONE planner current lol I just start again where I am and move forward.
I’ve been living off scrap pieces of paper and sticky notes for so long I finally ran out of them and had to start a planner.
I’ve kind of binge watched all your videos. I love your handwriting!! I’m like you, getting behind in your planners is painful… but it’s okay, we’re humans. I’m about to receive my hobonichi avec, thought to try it out instead of the EC life planner.. I’m not longer into decorating but into organizing and keeping memories ♥️ I’m excited for your next video!

Randi!!!! I love this video SO MUCH! Honestly I have been loving ALL of your videos lately. I am definitely planner #2 and it is so frustrating to be that person. This year I have a multiple planner system and I am already finding myself in that inevitable "falling behind" scenario. I am *trying* to tell myself that the blank pages are okay, but girl it is HARD! I like things neat and nice and complete. But life is not like and I know better ... your videos are a GREAT reminder of all of that especially since your planners are a huge source of inspiration for me. So please keep showing the good and the bad ... it makes all so much more relatable and realistic ... and helps me not to beat myself up over a missed page or two or an incomplete weekly. Why do you have multiple planner? What are you using them for? I have one planner and for Journaling I have my 5 year Journal. That's it. Also I think if you're falling behind it means the system or the material (digital or pen and paper) is not working for you and you need to change it. I never fall behind if my planner works for me only when it doesn't.
Try to figure out what you want to archive and what it is your planner needs to do for you, than go with that.

RT1 shoutout! Though to be honest I almost forgot it comes with gel ink, I swap mine out for Jetstream ink😅 But it's such a nice and simple, and comfy pen! I love mine.
I’ll never forget the day I bought a pen for the barrel but switched out the ink cartridge IMMEDIATELY 🤣🤣 you gotta do what works for you!
