Thanks! We will definitely do more Sparks, but have scheduled a couple of other albums first.

The single edit is an atrocity....a very bad edit. They should have released the full version as an A-side. I like where it is on the album....it is the final rave up after the very entertaining "Big Bands." It needed to end like this, not on a damp squib. Well that funny divebomb does that, completely undermining what came before. Humour does belong in music! Musically it is fantastic. The drums are great. I always liked that open hi-hat sound. Adam and the Ants took it for "Zerox." It appears again on "The Decline and Fall of Me." Proper hard rock. And the guitar solo that explodes mid way, fuzzed up string bending cacophony and whammy bar madness, shoved through vibratone, panned all over the place.....I wish Eno had the Mankey Bros playing on Here Come The Warm Jets. Certainly Earle, who like Eno was a bit of a tape recorder whiz and sound effects man. I think they both recorded "The Lion Sleeps Tonight"? They really came into their own on the next album. Jim Mankey has a lot of Peter Green in him and some Velvet Underground in there too. His bass playing on the track is rather nice too.
