When my next door neighbors went on vacation in the summer, there was a very bad and foul smell coming from their house, so bad that even doors down noticed it and started questioning out of curiosity. When the neighbors came back, one of us confronted them about it. We found out there was a big dead raccoon inside between roof attic. It took a whole day for them to find out where it was coming from. It's just an animal/rodent, so imagine the smell of a human being decomposition! How do you not smell that, even through the cracks of windows?

With the Idaho house being torn down, you can tell that now it's going to be one of those obnoxious trends where every neighbourhood with a 'crime house' is going to fight to have it torn down. Jumping on the bandwagon as everyone seems to do these days and completely ignoring the fact that it's all loaded with evidence. Instant gratification has now taken the place of common sense.

This is exactly why residents PROTEST these homes in their communities. I've never lived near one, however I've been through neighborhoods where they've been opened and those neighborhoods go "down the drain". Can't imagine what it does to property values.
