Wake up ppl. This is happening all over way to often. Another child duct taped. This is madness. I am a grandmother and would d*e for my kids! Why would you do such a thing? You feed yourself, but not the baby??? These children are literally t*rtured. Dcfs, cps, whoever tf they are in your state always drop the ball. Why?? They're all over worked. They have massive amounts of cases. No funding for caseworkers. Actual GOOD caseworkers. There are other reasons I will NOT get into. We lost yet ANOTHER beautiful baby who NEVER had a chance... As a 76 y/o gay man, I've never had a family of my own. My heart has just been ripped out and stomped on by these creatures. I can't even see the pictures of that dear little soul without yearning to provide a happy, loving childhood for her. So, HOW - how can anyone treat their own sweet little girl so inhumanely? HOW? There is no way anyone with a heart can understand.
I’m an elderly (straight) lady and I’ve never had a family of my own either. Drugs and the money 💰 the “parents” and grandparents receive from the state can turn them into deviants. Food stamps, welfare checks - while the child is covered in feces & locked in a cage/closet. I’m with you.

I agree wholeheartedly! But who’s funding it? For agencies to be tougher they need more people for better follow up, better databases, and better charges to work with. Funding to social services keeps on decreasing, people hate tax increases, people get upset at extra criminal charges being created, and the largest bulk of money goes to defense every year. We can talk all we want but until we advocate for budget restructuring or a change at our state or federal levels, it is all lip service

There should be no reason at all that they don't see the child that they are checking on. How do you document the child is ok if you don't see them? Starving a child is not done over night. This was a horrible failure!
When a parent cannot provide for their child. When a child has bruises and you are aware of this and you do NOTHING to help this child, you are a participant in the abuse.

If there is an open CPS case, the child should be required to show up for routine well checks with the doctor. And CPS should be automatically alerted if they don't show up. I am so sick of hearing about these poor babies who were completely failed by CPS.
My idea is these kids get put in all day preschool starting age 3. Need a Dr note for excused absences. Unexcused absence calls for a wellfare check by police. Automatic warrant for police to enter the home and search for the child. These kids have already been abused and neglected. If they are going to keep reunifying these families there has to be accountability from these families five days a week. That's the least we can do for these kids.
I'm watching this as I lay next to my 4 year old daughter. She and I are sick night now. This morning I just begged her to eat something because she hasn't ate much the last two days. It absolutely kills me to see my sweet girl sick right now I could NEVER imagine purposely hurting my kids. My heart is broken. Just broken.
They play the system. They know the case workers are overwhelmed with cases. Plus, the workers are scared of these parents cause most are aggressive drug addicts.

How do you weed out the would-be monsters in foster care? There is no way to predict the future. Monsters look and act like everyone else. They blend in. Social workers are not psychics. There isn't an easy solution. There just isn't.

This is terrible! I've said so many times that instead of focusing so much on abortion rights, they should focus on some of these poor and neglected children who are already born. So many people failed this poor child. It's sickening.

I'll never comprehend how a woman can carry their baby for 9 months to give them life to do this. The way a baby looks at you for everything, they only want warmth, food, love, to know they are protected, they have the most pure love on earth. We have babies not to fulfill something we're missing, not to give us love, not to entrap a partner, and definitely not an accessory to make us look better. Sad when animals make better parents than some humans. I've seen a dog give its life up to save its puppy, a momma cat lose its eyesight to go into a burning home and bring each kitten out alive one by one. There is zero reason that in cases like this when DCS shows up that they don't demand that the parents present that child. Where is she, we can go there. Who has her, get them on the phone. There is no excuse for this nonsense.
MY daughter’s childhood friend was a runaway and she came over to my house , when mom found out she called and told I could get arrested or in trouble for keeping her, it wasn’t long, I told her that’s ok. I would rather be in trouble than a teen on the streets.
Thank you for taking her in. I know she needed it and I know she’s so grateful. I had a friend in the same position. I grew up in Wisconsin but my high school best friend was from just outside Las Vegas. She lived in Wisconsin because her mother was neglectful, father was completely absent, and family friends fostered her in Wisco. She told me about having to walk around to the different trailers and beg for canned food. As someone who came from a stable family and who never had to worry about my next meal, that was hard to hear from someone I loved like a sister. My parents let her move in with us when I was a junior in high school and I’m eternally grateful that they cared enough. I’d love to be a foster parent someday.

One of my hats was a licensed, practicing social worker. I stopped practicing because the court system worked against us when trying to protect at risk children. The judges consistently placed the child back in the abusive home and the children were harmed or worse. My heart couldn’t handle it anymore.
Makes me sad and angry, my life was dedicated to caring for children first my own Two, then I went into peoples homes and took care of their children while they worked for 15 years, then I cared for my two granddaughters! I’m 75 now and it was the most rewarding thing getting to know and care for these precious children! Shame on these people!
21 days in jail the first time? I got 2 years probation and 90 days jail for going into someones car and smoking a cigarette when I was drunk at 24 yrs old. Fawking kidding me!
DO NOT give the child/children to the parents/caregiver/grandparents if their is suspicion of ANY abuse. Check every time for possible neglect. Investigate! This happens way too often. DCS/Human Services/Judges all need to be held accountable.
This absolutely INFURIATES me. My granddaughter was born last Wednesday as a beautiful sleeping angel. We had such big plans to give her an amazing life, never wanting for anything. Then people like this are having children and throwing them away like they are garbage. I sincerely hope my granddaughter Daisy and Kinsleigh are happily dancing in heaven.

Our justice system also lacks.I was a juror in my life.All a person has to do is ADMIT THEY DID IT and they will escape the death penalty. Or they are on death row for sometimes as long as 20 years.

This has to end with CPS not doing more to protect children they know are being abused by mom, the boyfriend and the grandmother. This is not the first little girl who died at the hands of heir immediate family members. Adam Montgomery in New Hampshire repeatedly abused Harmony. He was recently convicted of her murder. This abuse has to end.
In northern indiana couple years ago I had social worker at my house creating false reports trying to help her friends, my daughters mother that abandoned at 1 yr old, i was sexually assaulted by this social worker as joke and antagonizing effort to collaborate there false accusations. And every false accusation that I have had in last decades has resulted in dcs failing some other kid while knowingly conspiring to create false reports on me becaue they didn't like me. Because I only focused on my daughter that I raised solo and bought her a home for graduation and always followed the law and good parenting. So they tried getting back at me because I finally got support order from mother 12 years later. At that time the mother was threatening death and sexual assault to daughter and myself to evade child support. Social workers and dcs helped her.
Cps is definitely focused on reunification rather than the safety of a child. There needs to be a deep dive into CPS and how they are not protecting our nation’s children.
The court system chose to make an example out of the Crumbley parents. This case about this little girl, must be the perfect case to make an example out of the social workers involved, and even their supervisor.
I know that for a FACT too!!!! I was placed in a foster home for 6 months while the courts were giving my biological mother time to get her act together...IF she didn't do everything the courts asked of her, then my younger brother & I were going to be placed in custody of our alcoholic father & stepmother who we had not been in regular contact with & didn't even know our stepmother at all...After the 6 months of being with our foster parents & their daughter, I wanted to stay & live with them because they were a much better family & were not dysfunctional like ALL of our family was!!!!!!! We ended up being placed with our alcoholic father & stepmother & suffering YEARS of mental, emotional & physical abuse until I ran away constantly for 2 years from 13 years old to 15 years old & my father finally gave up & let me go...I basically moved out on my own at 15 years old...
The government needs to do something so child services are held accountable when things like this happen. Especially when other family members are calling them to notify them of abuse.
So here goes!! If judgement have been taken against parents for not guiding their children and the lack of care and be sentenced for years (crumbly’s) surely the DCS case manager must be taken to task too as this will no longer happen in the system, unless people are kept on their toes with accountability in doing their jobs and get paid!
What is the point of social workers going to a home if they do not insist on laying eyes upon the child who is the subject of their visit? How many dozens of children have been injured, dying or dead while social workers are right there ? You would think they would know better by now, or perhaps they do, but with no consequences for such neglect workers can keep on doing it.
These agencies need to be held criminally negligent. They are just as culpable. Our legislators need to be held accountable. This is absolutely uncalled for. Where are the constitutional rights for these children????

Step one -stop blaming an anonymous “system”. It is the PEOPLE in the system who let these children down again and again. Name and talk about the judges who made the decisions, and the Social workers who believe “ reuniting a family” is priority even when the child is abused. I always wondered why they just send CPS workers out alone. Seems so unsafe for the worker and obviously is ineffective when it comes to protecting the children 💔 a case comes to mind where a worker brought the children to the fathers house for a visit, he rushed them in and locked her outside. By the time first responders showed up it was too late. Can’t remember the guy’s name, but it was covered by several RUclips channels.

My mom and aunt use to have foster babies. DCSF asked them if they would take a 3-month-old baby that had been severely SA by her own mother and father. Of course, they said yes, and then changed their minds when they were told they had to take that baby for unsupervised visits with both parents. They couldn't bear the thought of handing that baby over to evil and they stopped fostering.
What it seems everyone forgets is that these kids are just a payday to "mom & dad". The kids are probably on medicaid, food stamps, afdc, tanf -lots of freebies & cash for having kids! Stop with the paying of bad, undeserving people having children.
And the saddest part is these babies are born with drugs in their bodies and so many physical abnormalities and in pain so they cry and that’s when the abuse begins! Never ending nightmare!
So many social workers make house calls without seeing children or inside the houses, they mark it done and leave. We need to update the system before it reaches this point.
Did the grandparents demand to talk to a judge ? Grandma mentioned she told CPS issues before the court hearing. Were grandparents in the court hearing ? If not , why? Who stopped them?

As someone who has dealt with DCFS; fighting for the safety and well-being of a child is a joke. The system does not care. The emotional and financial toll it takes trying to save your loved one is crushing. If the parent is destitute and abusive they will give the child(ren) to their abuser over and over again. It's only when the parent(s) have money and are not abusive is when DCFS holds the children hostage.
I have custody of my grandbaby for 2 years and she is 2 1/2. Took me petitioning the court DURING and BEFORE CPS completed the investigation. My daughter ultimately lost sole custody and now she has supervised visits an hour a week
I can't have kids of my own. It's gut-wrenching to see people torture children. Kinsleigh was so cute. I can't imagine hurting another living being. Rest in peace sweet angel. I'm so sorry your life was so short and painful and scary and confusing. You didn't deserve any of it.

How do you weed out the would-be monsters in foster care? There is no way to predict the future. Monsters look and act like everyone else. They blend in. Social workers are not psychics. There isn't an easy solution. There just isn't.

I'll never comprehend how a woman can carry their baby for 9 months to give them life to do this. The way a baby looks at you for everything, they only want warmth, food, love, to know they are protected, they have the most pure love on earth. We have babies not to fulfill something we're missing, not to give us love, not to entrap a partner, and definitely not an accessory to make us look better. Sad when animals make better parents than some humans. I've seen a dog give its life up to save its puppy, a momma cat lose its eyesight to go into a burning home and bring each kitten out alive one by one. MY daughter’s childhood friend was a runaway and she came over to my house , when mom found out she called and told I could get arrested or in trouble for keeping her, it wasn’t long, I told her that’s ok. I would rather be in trouble than a teen on the streets.
Thank you for taking her in. I know she needed it and I know she’s so grateful. I had a friend in the same position. I grew up in Wisconsin but my high school best friend was from just outside Las Vegas. She lived in Wisconsin because her mother was neglectful, father was completely absent, and family friends fostered her in Wisco. She told me about having to walk around to the different trailers and beg for canned food. As someone who came from a stable family and who never had to worry about my next meal, that was hard to hear from someone I loved like a sister. My parents let her move in with us when I was a junior in high school and I’m eternally grateful that they cared enough. I’d love to be a foster parent someday.

One of my hats was a licensed, practicing social worker. I stopped practicing because the court system worked against us when trying to protect at risk children. The judges consistently placed the child back in the abusive home and the children were harmed or worse. My heart couldn’t handle it anymore.
People don’t realize that people like these people want the children back for the government benefits that the child brings in!

This absolutely INFURIATES me. My granddaughter was born last Wednesday as a beautiful sleeping angel. We had such big plans to give her an amazing life, never wanting for anything. In northern indiana couple years ago I had social worker at my house creating false reports trying to help her friends, my daughters mother that abandoned at 1 yr old, i was sexually assaulted by this social worker as joke and antagonizing effort to collaborate there false accusations. And every false accusation that I have had in last decades has resulted in dcs failing some other kid while knowingly conspiring to create false reports on me becaue they didn't like me. Because I only focused on my daughter that I raised solo and bought her a home for graduation and always followed the law and good parenting. So they tried getting back at me because I finally got support order from mother 12 years later. At that time the mother was threatening death and sexual assault to daughter and myself to evade child support. Social workers and dcs helped her.
Cps is definitely focused on reunification rather than the safety of a child. There needs to be a deep dive into CPS and how they are not protecting our nation’s children.

I know that for a FACT too!!!! I was placed in a foster home for 6 months while the courts were giving my biological mother time to get her act together...IF she didn't do everything the courts asked of her, then my younger brother & I were going to be placed in custody of our alcoholic father & stepmother who we had not been in regular contact with & didn't even know our stepmother at all...After the 6 months of being with our foster parents & their daughter, I wanted to stay & live with them because they were a much better family & were not dysfunctional like ALL of our family was!!!!!!! We ended up being placed with our alcoholic father & stepmother & suffering YEARS of mental, emotional & physical abuse until I ran away constantly for 2 years from 13 years old to 15 years old & my father finally gave up & let me go...I basically moved out on my own at 15 years old...

What is the point of social workers going to a home if they do not insist on laying eyes upon the child who is the subject of their visit? How many dozens of children have been injured, dying or dead while social workers are right there ? You would think they would know better by now, or perhaps they do, but with no consequences for such neglect workers can keep on doing it.
These agencies need to be held criminally negligent. They are just as culpable. Our legislators need to be held accountable. This is absolutely uncalled for. Where are the constitutional rights for these children????

I always wondered why they just send CPS workers out alone. Seems so unsafe for the worker and obviously is ineffective when it comes to protecting the children 💔 a case comes to mind where a worker brought the children to the fathers house for a visit, he rushed them in and locked her outside. By the time first responders showed up it was too late. Can’t remember the guy’s name, but it was covered by several RUclips channels.

My mom and aunt use to have foster babies. DCSF asked them if they would take a 3-month-old baby that had been severely SA by her own mother and father. Of course, they said yes, and then changed their minds when they were told they had to take that baby for unsupervised visits with both parents. They couldn't bear the thought of handing that baby over to evil and they stopped fostering.

As someone who has dealt with DCFS; fighting for the safety and well-being of a child is a joke. The system does not care. The emotional and financial toll it takes trying to save your loved one is crushing.
If the parent is destitute and abusive they will give the child(ren) to their abuser over and over again. It's only when the parent(s) have money and are not abusive is when DCFS holds the children hostage.
I have custody of my grandbaby for 2 years and she is 2 1/2. Took me petitioning the court DURING and BEFORE CPS completed the investigation. My daughter ultimately lost sole custody and now she has supervised visits an hour a week
I can't have kids of my own. It's gut-wrenching to see people torture children. Kinsleigh was so cute. I can't imagine hurting another living being. Rest in peace sweet angel. I'm so sorry your life was so short and painful and scary and confusing. You didn't deserve any of it.
