In this VladTV exclusive, Fat Joe speaks on how he tried to get 50 Cent and Ja Rule together at Summerjam to squash their issues. Joe immediately said that it didn’t work, and said that he doesn’t think it’s going to happen. Joe said because he tried to make peace, he was cursed out by Irv Gotti.
From there, Joe spoke about beefing with 50 Cent for eight years, but not really being ready for rap battles and beef on record.

Irv Gotti can call it ''Kumbaya'' and scoff at the very notion of it but I grew up with the teachings that we as black people need to stick together and look out for one another drilled into me and I read a lot about the Black Panthers, Marcus Garvey, Malcolm X, Dr.Martin Luther King Jr, etc, and I grew my hair out and was rocking a massive afro as something of a political statement.
But now that I'm older(and the 'fro is long gone), even though I still believe that we're stronger together than we are divided like Michael B. Jordan said when Marvel's Black Panther grossed more than $1 billion dollars at the global box office, I have a decidedly more broader point of view these days.
If 50 Cent and Ja Rule hate each other and can't stand each other for the rest of their lives(as they have for close to what I think may be about twenty years now), that's actually okay. That's cool.
So long as it doesn't spill over into violence(as the beef has in the past)and that's where it stays and no one dies dies behind it and Ja and Murder Inc are over on one side doing their thing and 50 is over on the other side doing his thing and one isn't bothering with the other and they're keeping it moving, that's the best way to go. They can hate each other if they want to but like Christian Barret said, these brothers need to focus on what is important and not the wrong things. I have way too many things that I want to do in my life to spend my valuable time tearing down other black people. But like Vlad and Fat Joe said, I'll say never when it comes to the idea of 50 and Ja ever squashing their beef. Those two just really don't like each other and again, that's fine as long as that's where it stays.
It can't be squashed. One side believes 50 and interscope tipped the feds off and ruined their empire and Murder Inc on numerous occasions damn near killed 50. There's no squashing that.
