Efforts Underway to Address Soft Muting on RF919

The RF919 has really wonderful features, but the softmuting issue is (for me) an absolute no-go.
I will order one as soon as this problem will be solved. Otherwise I´ll keep away from this item.

Dan I can think of one instance where muting is preferred…any station with “Brother Stair” or old B.S. as I call him…😂!

Hello i own 140 radios and i call tharaddy rf 919 radio of the year muting or no muting. But the qodosen dx 286 is the very best in ultralite period 2024 im calling the year of the radio. According to previous comments, this would entail creating an external VFO circuit, which is an engineering change. It will be interesting if they can come up with a firmware update instead?!?
