Honestly, Link's hit effects in some games (WW, TP, SS and BotW) looks like he's bashing his enemies or knocking them back with his sword. You may be onto something with that. It could explain how a child with 0 sword training (or amnesia) can take on scores of enemies with just a sword: it's a long club/keyblade, so you need contact more than anything. That might also mean a thicker blade than you'd think, which might allow for a thick guard, like the one you see on the Master Sword. So it really could be a club with a guard that looks good sheathed in a parade! When thinking about any potential weight issues: they're Elves, so it's probably Mithril?
I agree with the dancer blade! And that's exactly how it's used too! A lot of ther attacks are swinging, getting the benefit of a curved sword, but they do have a thrust attack that is very painful!
You should definitely check Redeemer in-game. As u already know, those guns are used by what is basically a robot, so weight isn't that much of an issue. Redeemer is used as heavy bladed weapon, with wide swings and shooting when swinging. Not best for sword combat, but then it is still shotgun. "Parry this, u filthy casual!"
Could you do For Honor? There are alot of interesting and wacky type of melee weapons that players can customize for Knights, Viking, Samurai, and Wu Lin. Might be interesting to look at and judge it.
Given what we're told by various Final Fantasy VII media, Cloud was basically experimented on to the point of becoming a borderline superhuman with slim muscular human attributes. While I'm unaware of what properties Mako or experimentation would modify in Cloud, but while the Buster Sword would absolutely never be lifted by anyone outside of SOLDIER, it is a little more believable for Cloud to be able to use it. I suppose it depends on Cloud's modified strength variables, the material that the Buster Sword is even made of, assuming it's made from Mythril, what general attributes Mythril has by default, and how heavy a giant blade would be on the end of a hilt.
Actually it was really close at a picture of a psycho buzz axe from borderlands There's a small trigger at the base of the grip so the blade does actually rotate however trigger on the handle allows it to rotate upon impact so it just saws through
"The designers need to explain themselves what they were thinking when they made this one." which one the Brokk, or the jat kittag, the former is wht if we added spikes to hammer, the ladder, someone probably did a line of coke saying lets add a jet engine to one side of the spiked hammer
Fun fact, Some of the other Kingdom Hearts Keyblades actually have a blade from hand guard to the tip. In all honesty The Kingdom Key would have to be an axe to have a "blade"
Personally I think guns with like swords in them instead of just on the bottom of it is cool but imagine you're fighting someone and they hit like the barrel of your shotgun sword then it's just not going to work it's going to become a one use thing
Loved the video! I was wondering if you could cover the hidden blade from the Assassin's Creed series and (maybe) its variables (gun, hookblade, etc.). I think it would be pretty cool :)
Hi there , love the videos , i have always wondered and Don't know if you covered it already , Darksiders 2 death's 2 small scythes and his big scythe , it looks really cool how he uses it and was wondering if you could look at them
i think theres somewhat of an argument as to the master sword's obtuse bevel and chunky guard; its facing constant abuse against inhuman foes and being a nigh eternal weapon of a hero, its better to better be a bit on the stocky and sturdy side than ending up looking like the master sword in BOTW's promo material after one rough fight; courage necessitates resilience lest it become foolhardiness, so the same goes for his sword. basically like a one handed dragonslayer approach without completely forgoing subtlety or the heroic sword and shield vibe, yknow?
I'd really love to know your opinion on some of the weapons in the Soul Calibur franchise. Some of them are actual weapons taken from the real world.....and then there's Sigfried's anime like great sword, Nightmare's Soul Calibur and Cervantes's Gun blades. Oh almost forgot about Ivy's whip sword.
I have an interesting idea how affective do you think the swords in sonic and black knight are?, I would love to hear your coverage of those. Another one I would like you to check is guilty gear swords and weapons
I’m a new subscriber so there’s a chance he’s done it but I missed it. But opinions on the Sword of the Creator from Fire Emblem 3 Houses? I highly doubt there’s any realistic explanation for a sword that’s also a whip but I dunno, it seems cool
I’m interested to hear what you think about Zuko’s Dual Broadswords from Avatar the Last Airbender. Were there ever swords that came in pairs but could fit together and form one blade? Or would that be a cooler idea on paper than in practice?
Yeh... It feels like 90% of the really awkward melee/gun combinations come from either india or germany (I mean, c'mon. Flintlock Cuterly? Seriously?).
You should cover sundown's dual blades, the mechanism of making it a large scissor is amazing to see everytime

Terraria and Dauntless weapons. They are both really good games imo, and I really want to see your opinion on their weapons.
Terraria has so many swords, which would he judge? Nights edge? Terra blade? Zenith?
@@crabulonbestgirl9130 that's what I want to see, which weapons he chooses
There are a lot of swords and weaponry from mortal kombat that would be interesting to learn about!
Yes!
I think the European long sword named after the dude was just kinda like a cross cultural shout out. "we like your sword!"
"We like yours too!"
Idk?
I agree with the dancer blade! And that's exactly how it's used too! A lot of ther attacks are swinging, getting the benefit of a curved sword, but they do have a thrust attack that is very painful!
Booty ahead.
Nero's Red Queen, Dante's Devil sword Dante and Vergil's katana. PLSSSSSSSS
No, not just those
Every dmc weapon

Your channel NEEDS more views, this is really amazing content. Keep up the good work
Thank you!
Would be fun to see you explain the weapons wielded by Dead by Daylight's killers
As far as Warframe weapons are considered, weight means nothing
Could you do For Honor? There are alot of interesting and wacky type of melee weapons that players can customize for Knights, Viking, Samurai, and Wu Lin. Might be interesting to look at and judge it.

I know it’s not a video game, but could you cover how effective Lancelot’s Arondight is in the Fate Franchise?
I'm Not shure, but I think He talked about it in a older video
@@ootocannon4933 pretty sure he’s only talked about archer’s swords and maybe Saber’s Excalibur, probably EA as well
I would love if you could cover the hidden blade (and their different variants) from the assassin's Creed franchise in one of your videos
Please make more for Warframe weapons
If there’s one thing I’ve learned from these it’s to not have the guard stab your hand
I love how my man has a mandalorian shirt with boba fett on it
The buzzaxe does actually spin, as shown by Kreig's rampage animations, as well as his DLC trailer
Loved the video! I was wondering if you could cover the hidden blade from the Assassin's Creed series and (maybe) its variables (gun, hookblade, etc.). I think it would be pretty cool :)
so what you're saying is if I give a better bevel to the master sword it would be a genuinely good sword?
alright I'm off to forge a sword
Do a video on the Terraria swords, and if you do, you gotta go over the Terra Blade and either the palladium sword or the Meowmere.

ah, the redeemer, or as I call it: the wrist breaker
Man called a kama (pronounce comma) a kayma, BAKA

the round hilt doesnt have much of an excuse tho tbh
also nice catch on the bolt in sam's scabbard, i didnt notice until last time i played revengeance and it was a nice touch of thought by platinum

The amount of mispronunciation in this vid is off the charts
Just to add some::::: Falchion is pronounced with a k sound not a ch. khopesh is a ch sound not a s. Kama is bot pronounced kaima, its kaaama.
