This is definitely on point, I have regret getting the slice because based on the slice, it was too thin, only tasted a nicely charred crust with a touch of delicious tomato sauce, tease of cheese, which felt like an incomplete pizza because I wanted more tomato and cheese, so I definitely motivated to try the Sicilian!
it is very good but nowhere near the top 5 in NYC I have recently tried Dario's in West Hempstead, also really good. He was the pizza guy at Lind for years
We went to New York from England on a pizza pilgrimage, with a plan to tour all the spots and find the best slice. (Obviously an impossible task, but made for a fun plan). We started at the first place we came to, nearest our airbnb. It was (at the time, little known) L'industrie. Totally ruined the plan, by being so obviously the best, right at the very start, lol. After a few days of checking out different spots and nothing living up to it, we thought, "Well maybe it was just because it was our first taste of New York pizza" and went back to try again. Nah, it was obviously a cut above. I really miss it.
