- Attempting the Yorkshire 3 Peaks BAREFOOT was harder than the national three peaks and at times it had me questioning if I'd make it. Thanks to Joey D as always and thank you to everyone who's sponsored and helped us raise as much as we have, I'm blown away by the support.

I got stuck up the side of Pen y ghent sat on top of them pillars had a smoke easy up back down scary I’m a bit scared of hight’s lol the view was amazing

I credit 'Simon, a bloke in the woods' for putting me on to Hazey's channel during the 'Show us your Steak' challenge a good while back. Two wonderfully different and inspiring guys. There's nothing like the great outdoors for doing your noggin some good.
As a man who suffers often crippling bouts of depression, I just want to say thank you for what you do to raise awareness on the issue.

Thank you Hazee, I discovered your channel during the first lockdown and the ending of a 5 year relationship, and one year on from losing my dad to cancer.
I got through a winter, thankless jobs and months without my daughter seeing her dad.
You have inspired me to return to nature and deepen my relationship with her, I sleep outdoors at least once a month in woods, sea cliff ledges and almost at the top of mountains.
You reminded me where my personal key is to unlock joy and self.

I used to run around barefoot when I was a kid. I never wore shoes. As an adult with my tender footies, I can't even walk 4 steps barefoot without yelling ouch, at least a dozen times. To hike, barefoot, I can't even imagine.
On a serious note, thank you for bringing awareness & raising money for mental health. This is so priceless to me.
I doff my cap to you sir. Having been through hell and back with mental health, it needs to be shouted from the roof tops that do not keep it to yourself if you're struggling. Help can come from the most unexpected direction when people know you're fighting demons. 👍👍👍
When I saw you put your shoes on to descend the national 3 peaks I was a bit disappointed. I had a quick, quiet thought to myself that you cheated a bit. After watching this I am ashamed of that thought and take it back x100. You're a good man Hazy, I appreciate the no bullshit, down to earth style, thank you for throwing your weight behind an important cause. Cheers!

Jokes aside, top effort pal, and for a great cause - I struggle with anxiety and it's your videos I watch before work to calm me down and remind myself that I've got this and there's no need to panic. If you can walk 3 peaks barefoot with no complaints and only humour, I can survive a 12 hour ward shift with equal humour and grit. Top lad, salute x
I’d need a medic if I attempted that 😆. I recently walked Pen-y-Ghent as part of the Pennine Way and my feet were sore with nice cushioned trail shoes on. You’re a top bloke Hazey. Much respect 👍

Just watched this now hazey after completing only two of the Yorkshire three peaks yesterday.
I was absolutely done afterwards, Ingleborough and whernside kicked my a**e and that's in boots!

3 peaks was a challenge with shoes for me but barefoot is just incredible.....as someone who struggles with mental help and finds hiking and walking is my medicine i am truly gratefull for what you are doing.

Me and my mate did the Yorkshire Three Peaks the other week but we wild camped it over three days carrying stupidly heavy packs. My two bottles of rum a necessity. Was great to see the route again in your vid. Hats off to you. Incredible achievement. And big respect to Joey, too.

Amazing, I did the Yorkshire 3 Peaks, had a break in the pub on route, by the end my hip was knackered and I used my hiking pole as crutches, but completed a bit destroyed, but I had boots on! Amazing what you just did, you must have been tripping with the pain!!!🤪👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻❤️
I welled up massively once you reached that third peak, I could feel the proud accomplishment through the screen. you're a massive inspiration and thank you so much for spreading awareness for Mental health. wow, what a true champ.

I have to say, a cause for men’s health mental (&physical) is absolutely important 💕.. men can be incredibly stubborn about self care and it’s a genuine problem..
I have spent countless hours talking with caseworkers about the double standards around men being victims of DV, the social bias around “being strong” and the general stigma of mental health in general..
It’s a CRUCIAL MESSAGE for men.. we believe you, & there’s lots of people who CARE and will absolutely help in any way they can. Wether it is just listening, or even helping navigate legal issues in family court..
there’s someone out there who has been through the same stuff and can understand..💕

Have done them twice in boots.....the first time I did them had blisters on blisters the size of 10p pieces.....how you did it....all credit....what endurance 😮
So happy to see this! My dad was a Yorkshire lad, with a view of Ingleborough from his kitchen window. I was born and bred in Suffolk. I did however climb Ingleborough the one and only time in 2002. Barely made it. Can’t believe you did it barefoot! Much love.
Absolute respect man, done the National a few times and do the Yorkshire a few times each year and they are tough, tough walks so without footwear this is epic. What a cause to do it for, most men think it’s weak to talk about their mental problems and I was guilty of that, I couldn’t believe how much better I felt once I opened up, it changed my life.

After this I was inspired to go out now I just done my first catch and cook I foraged 5 velvet swimming crabs and a brown crab cooked at home and shared with my family thanks haze for getting me started down this road
Wow i did the Yorkshire 3 peaks other month for mental illness we had a pal that committed suicide so we was raising awareness ,,, took me 9 hours of pain and i had good boots on too god nose how you managed that bare foot absolute soldier 😳😳😳👀
