The sec generation was my first car in my life and was in University...bought it as a second hand and the previous owner took good care of it. Still have it to this day as a trophy😊
You mentioned the purpose for the slot next to the shifter......believe it or not it’s mostly there for access to the NPR cable lever. If you pull the rubber sleeve out, there will be a lever to disengage the electronic transmission if it needs to be towed
I have a black 2014 just like this with the Hemi, loaded, and only 23,000 miles. I added chrome rims, chrome pillars, and a spoiler and get compliments daily. I like my interior better. No wood with black on the doors, dash, and console with black leather interior. Just love the 300. Hope your enjoying yours!
I had the Dodge Charger version of this car for an extended rental when my car was in the shop for a collision repair. (No, not my fault).. Anyway, it had the V6 and I was surprised with the response as well. Having owned an earlier 3OO with the HEMI, I never felt the V6 Charger was underpoawered at all. Like you Bill. I'm naturally inclined towards a V8, but that V6 definitely gave me food for thought.
I had to subscribe, I've seen a few videos months ago & came across this one as I was looking for reviews of the 300. Your amusing in your videos. God Bless!
That's one thing I like is the analog clock. My 2006 Lincoln Town Car has an analog logo or as I've called them quartz anyhow I thought those were a nice touch on the Town Car & some model years of the Navigator as in the Chrysler 300. I wish Lincoln kept the this type of clock.
Your right the first design was or had a Bently look but I had test drove one of that design several years ago & even as a preowned I wasn't able to qualify but now such as this one is a nice car especially in this color. When I sold Chrysler products I drove one of these & loved it. Not a fan of Chrysler but I like this Chrysler luxury car. Excellent review.
I own a 2013 300C all-wheel drive with the Hemi this is my second one and I have to agree with you I love these cars I've also had two SRT8s and 1 Charger RT
beautiful interior? it's garbage a typical American luxury car. American luxury means big and cheap. You need to try and spend some time in a good Europen car
Thanks for the review, I spotted one of those online for 8k, milage is 110k kilometers looks like a great deal what do you think? . Btw I like your watch, I have skx009 best everyday watch super cool. Thanks again
2012 Approaching 300K miles and still running. Even the mechanic noted the car would go 300K miles. Even the ZF tranny, the oil was never changed and still has no issues. This impressed me more than ever when it came to German technology.
@@lobsterwhisperer7932 Having almost 300K miles, it doesn't matter which automotive brand you buy, all of which will have recalls. Even the best, RR and Bentley, will have recalls.
@@rafdecc Like any vehicle, whether it is Japanese, Europe, or the USA, I always take it to the dealership and follow the manufacturer's guidelines. These are heavily maintenance vehicles. For this vehicle, the mechanic I had asked, what is the longevity of this car? He told me, about 300-400K miles. I purchased it for that reason, and the 30 MPG factor (I would range from 26-34) for a non-hybrid full-size entry luxury vehicle. I still own it since it has longevity. This vehicle was a previous rental (Enterprise), and I purchased it at 17K miles. The powertrain was a V6 with the ZF tranny. Like all manufacturers, you must do many reviews to determine which year has fewer issues. I have owned vehicles from both shores (USA to Japanese), and there are known ones that don't come with issues.

I’m don’t like those computer delays before it delivers the power when you floor it. I liked the more traditional power delivery from the muscle cars of the 80s and 90s. This is a nice car as well. Would you ever do a test drive down by the beach 🏖
The little compartment next to the gear shift handle comes out and it has a little handle that you can pull incase it ever needs to be towed or anything to help prevent any damage to the car Not sure exactly how to word it it but more or less that is what i remember being told by my husband years ago when i first bought my car
I kinda wish I had bought a petrol V6 over the diesel V6, but I'm sure the diesel is more fuel efficient. BTW, my diesel 300 will easily roast the tyres on dry asphalt... it makes me laugh! :D On a side note, sadly, we don't get electric pedal adjustment on RHD cars.
I love watching American RUclips, you show the compartment in the back and casually state “ you can fit a pretty nice sized hand gun in there” hahahaha , yet where I live in Western Australia, our government has just made it illegal to own TOY gel guns and if we get caught with this toy gun it’s up to 3 years in prison ( I’ve just purchased this particular car and my gel gun would have fitted perfectly in that compartment 😂)

Been driving my 2005 300c since I pick it up in August 2004, loved every minute of of it, but I just ordered a 2019 300c, loaded. I needed the driver assist and all the other tech advancements. Went from silver gray to red velvet with deep mocha interior. Should be in the first part of July. I couldn't take a chance of missing out on the rumored discontinued 300's. Chrysler sucks!!! I had a ‘95 Chrysler Concorde back in 2000 and had nothing but mechanical issues, computer problems, steering alignment issues, weather stripping coming off, etc. if you want a luxury car get a Lincoln TownCar, nothing beats that V8 and a air ride suspension, plus has 239 hp!
