Not many cars can stay in production from an original design for so many years, and still have penache and remain highly desirable. The Chrysler remains a good looking car, sexy and durable. No Ford or GM has done that.
cedric gildersleeve I haven't had any problems with the battery or alternator, but the transmission is shifting harsh sometimes on the 2nd to 1st downshift. My blind spot warning system sometimes overheats after the car sits in the sun for over an hour as well. No other problems so far!
The recall on the alternator is for a diode which reportedly malfunctioned. I own a 2013 300S Glacier Edition with awd and the 3.6L v6. I’ve had very good luck overall with all the Chrysler products I’ve owned over the 50+ years I’ve been driving. In my opinion and experience GM is the worst.
When I first bought my car, I had this same issue. However, when I looked online, it said to disconnect the positive battery terminal for about 3 minutes, and reconnect. When I did that, it worked and I haven't had any further problems since. Maybe it'll work for you as well. :-)
How does this engine compare to the 3.6 passat you owned? I currently have an 07 passat 3.6 V6 so how does the performance compare as my parents are looking into one of these (although possibly the V8 version), and reliability so far as well? Thanks
Luke W This car feels slower with the V6 versus the Passat 3.6, but the fuel economy is better and it feels more substantial and solid. The reliability has been pretty good except for the transmission. Mine was replaced under warranty 2 weeks ago because of a harsh downshift from 2nd to 1st gear. But I'm pretty confident it would have been fine without a new transmission in the long run. So for speed, the V8 will do 5.2 seconds to 60 mph and 6.2 seconds with the V6. Overall, the Passat's VR6 is just as good as the 3.6 in the 300.
When you turn on the heated seats/steering wheel, do the settings stay on when you start the car up again or do you have to turn them on manually every time you turn the car on? In my parents' '09 300 you have to turn them on manually every time, and it gets a little irritating in the Winter.
I have a flex pipe leaking on exhaust 113,300 miles on my 300 I am not sure how it is called a flex pipe it's all metal. 5" piece welding in pipe on driver side. Kinda a pour design.
lookign at changing from an older 300 to one like this liek the review looking at things many brush over for basic functions practical usage.. to dr dre Balkan jamboree on.
I have been interested in purchasing this car, finally a video with answers to questions that i have, thanks.

@Ron Snow
Agreed. GM has handsome off the line new vehicles that go to hot 💩 quick.
Is it a big car in person?
How is the V6? I’m not sure which one to get. The C AWD or S AWD V6
How to fix the bluetooth? I have 13 300s and the bluetooth doesn't work says hands free system like in the vedio shows...

I did that and it worked
But when i turned my car on for the next day it didn't work again ._.
You may want to buy an aftermarket head unit from Crutchfield. They have some great stuff, and it's a snap to install
That’s why you use an aux cord….
How did you fix the Bluetooth on the Chrysler 300s please?

You can set it up to stay on in the settings or do it manually.
Yes manualmente

Did u ever find a fix for the bluetooth?
Requires a new bluetooth module more than likely, there’s tutorial videos online for it. Not very complicated from what I’ve seen.
Is a 100k bad for this car?
You can go over 200k before any big problems
No, as long as it was properly maintained, the first 100k.
I’m getting one today 🔥🔥🔥🔑😍😄😄
how are you liking the car so far ?
@@ricardov9609 good :)
Does this year have Bluetooth available?
For music
@@ricardov9609 is it still running Good?
The V8 isn't too bad on gas. Not alot of people need that extra power. Not really usable
