Clair, Nice work. I recently discovered these affordable pottery wheels from Vevor. I watched a lot of reviews on RUclips and found that Vevor offers a variety of pottery wheels, with the size of the wheel head being available in 3 different sizes. The smallest is 9.8" in diameter, the next size is 11", and the largest is 14". The 9.8" & the 11" have 350 watt motors, and the 14" has a 450 watt motor. The 14" is the size of the high-end pottery wheels. I bought my 14" model on Ebay for $220 with free shipping.
Thanks for sharing! I’ve been deliberating on whether to buy this one. Just wondering how you fire/glaze your pieces? Do you need to transport them? Thanks so much!
Hello! Very nice video! i'm considering to buy the same wheel as a gift for my girlfriend! I read some good reviews on Amazon but there were also some negative! One customer wrote that after the second use his wheel was burnt down. Is your wheel fine after 9 months that you made the video?

I used to bring them to a studio, but now I have my own kiln! You can check out my new video on the firing process 😄
So cool! Thinking of purchasing the same one, which clay did you use for the cups?
I use plainsman clay or PSH clay 😄

I dont own the wheel anymore but it worked very well for me for many many months!
Does it slow down a lot when you put pressure on the wheel?
No it’s actually quite good at handling pressure :)
How much was this?
It was $300 CAD
