- NOVEMBER 2020 - PORTO Portugal We visited 2 museums during our 15 nights in Porto... the stunning Photography museum and the Casa do Infante.
The Photography museum is well worth a visit for the spectacular 18th century building alone! We were fortunate enough to be there during the Alfredo Cunha 50-year exhibition, which was amazing!
Turns out the Casa do Infante permanent exhibition was free on Sundays while we were there, so that was a bonus.
As always, our videos show snippets on our way to and from these places... after all - the journey is important, not just the destination!

I'm sorry to hear things aren't going well in SA. Masks are mandatory inside buildings in Portugal, supermarkets limit the number of shoppers allowed inside but bars and restaurants are still open. This is our first time here - somehow Portugal was never on our radar before but it's such an amazing country... which is why we've taken so much video footage 😂 There are still a few Porto videos to upload then the Lisbon vlogs... we saw so much in our 10 days there!

Another very interesting film, thank you ! If you like that sort of museum then if you are in Reims in France, the Museum of the Surrender is a beautiful time capsule to visit. It's where the Nazis officially surrendered and the room used has been preserved with the original table and chairs, wall maps etc, quite moving.

I remember hearing about those curfews!
It meant that supermarkets were packed mid-morning during the weekend, with everyone racing to do their grocery shopping and be home before 1pm!
