If you can, YES, include Porto. Completely different "feel" between the two cities, if I can just pick one word. Honestly, between the two, I prefer Porto. And there's much to do in day trips from Porto. Porto is an easy bus or train ride from Lisbon (stop in Coimbra on the way - I have a video on it as well), if you want. I'd be interested to know if you choose to go to Porto and which city, Porto or Lisbon, you liked most and why. 😀@@TheresaofTheWorld

Great video and so much information! Visiting Porto from Nov 27 to Dec 1. Do you think it's a good idea to stay one night in Coimbra on our way to Lisbon, or do you think another night in Porto is better and a day trip to Coimbra? Thanks! Great options and I'm so excited to visit Portugal!
Hello! I'm so pleased you enjoyed the video and found it informative. I'm the type of person who wants to see and do as much as possible so, that said, I would recommend a day in Coimbra for sure. In fact, I did this before (Porto > Coimbra > Lisbon) by train. It all depends on how much energy you have. :-) I'm unsure where you're flying in from, but if you have the energy and time to maximize your first day in Porto (Nov. 27), you could do 3 days in Porto (see my 3 Days in Porto video for ideas of what you can do: ruclips.net/video/j2O7wZmPpi4/видео.html), do Coimbra on the 30th, and then leave Coimbra on the 1st to Lisbon. It is very doable. If it's too much, and you need time to relax on the 27th, either just stay in Porto and go direct to Lisbon, or add Coimbra and spend one less day in Lisbon (I don't now how long you're in Lisbon). For a day in Coimbra from Porto > Lisbon, check out my Coimbra videos: ruclips.net/video/ohFYHr-l8Ow/видео.html and ruclips.net/video/-dz12elbz68/видео.html. And the best for planning is my One Day in Coimbra (from Porto to Lisbon), which is right up your alley: www.corrtravel.com/1-day-in-coimbra-solo-travel-itinerary-and-guide/ I also have videos on Lisbon (15 Things to Know, Top 10 Things to Do on First Time Travel, and my Lisbon Itinerary) you may also want to watch. I will be in Porto with my husband for the first time the first 2 weeks of October. We were coming to look for apartments in Braga, but I'm starting to fall in love with Porto. What to do. What to do. An excellent, informative video. Thank you.
Oh, you'll have a great time in Porto in October. What to do... Well, I did a very relaxing 3 days in Porto and spent most of it out of Porto. Even to Braga for a day! I fell in love with Braga. You're most welcome. I hope it makes your planning easier. You'll love Porto in early October. I've been at that time and the weather was great. Great video. Thank you so much for all you do. Going to Portugal in September out of my comfort zone I usually go to Italy 😂. Doing 3 days Lisbon 3 days Porto 5 Algarve and 2 back in Lisbon. How does it sound? Would you change it ? @CORRTravel
Oh, I LOVE Italy. It's hard to beat, right. 😂 Thank you for asking my opinion on my travel. The amount of time in each area sounds great. You can fit a lot in in each destination, plus you don't need a card to get between destinations (don't discount the bus as sometimes it may be quicker and cheaper than the train). I'm guessing you're flying roundtrip in/out of Lisbon, right? If you can (by airline miles?) I'd fly into Porto (warmer at that time) and make my way south ending in the Algarve to keep hitting prime weather (and being cooler in the Algarve). Then fly out of Faro. But if you can't do that, don't worry. Your plan is still good. And you shouldn't have to contend with any holidays in September.
