Excellent job HTC! The fact that you listened to your users and also made this little inside video to show us some behind the scenes stuff goes a long way. The boom sound is the reason I will buy this phone over the S7. I was also very impressed to see high resolution audio recording, something very overlooked on a smartphone, and a feature a lot of people don't even realize is severely lacking in the industry. Plus with the addition of the SD card everything is tied together. Not having to carry around an external speaker, an external mic, and a separate mp3 player is awesome. I noticed the website says expandable storage up to 2TB, but is it true that Android has an internal limitation to 200GB? Also very pleased to hear about the 30% boost in battery life. Looks like you guys put in a solid effort and I'm looking forward to making this my next phone.

I pretty sure HTCs quality is good , I had HTC 7 till I bought Sony Z5 4 months ago, now my Sony Z5 is dead because I accidentally dropped it from my hand with less than 1 meter high, with protection case on , and it went dead. Now I have to go back to use my old HTC 7 and I even intentionally throw it really hard to the floor when I was fighting with my wife few days ago, but it is still working properly , HTC is a tough guy, thumbs up

I just can't stand the people treating the comment section like a warzone, cussing like hell when someone doesn't agree with their opinions. Look, the people who like it have their reasons, and the ones who don't have their reasons too. There's no right or wrong when choosing a device to buy, just the choice that suits your needs and likings best. If others prefer something else, then cool. So whether or not you like the 10, the older HTC Ones, a Samsung, an LG, or even an iOS or Windows device, then that's great! As long as you enjoy what you have, I think that's really awesome ^^
The HTC 10 definitely sounds allot better than the mainstream phone companies since they actually TELL US what's in the phone without having too look at the text & try to figure it out for ourself! If we're getting the info directly from the company, that makes me think that HTC sounds like a great phone company! KEEP IT UP GUYS!

One of the finest from HTC. Its all the imperfections made perfect from M7 to M9 . Just missed out on the water and dust resistant. I am using 10 for the past 6 months and this is my 5th HTC . The camera is one of the most amazing cameras i have ever experienced in a smartphone. I rate the camera of 10 greater than any other from 2016. Great industrial build and really gives you the batman feel. Really very satisfied with HTC and they are just brilliant!

Getting the top score alongside the S7 on DxOMark for the camera is a major achievement plus the clever way in which you incorporated Boomsound this time so that it's there but not obvious is commendable! my HTC M8 was one of my favorite phones I ever used. the music application alone was incredible and the blink feed and android skin were nice and clean. HTC sensation was my first HTC phone and smart phone. this looks incredible hopefully it will be amazing
OIS in both front and back cameras, 4k video, enough battery life to watch 10+ hours of video, and those chamfered edges. You don't find any of that amazing?

Thank you guys you Always care for your customers I LOVE the HTC 10 and i wish the phone to be rooted so all the apps on the phone could be removable i mean sometimes i don't want all the apps on my phone and i wish i could delete them and use the space but i can't.. another thing is that when i turn over the wifi on my pc to get the internet from it my HTC M8 couldn't search it so i had to add a special wifi sharing programme on my pc... I am a dj and your phone is exactly for my needs...high quality low light pictures and videos with optic stabilization..sound from another planet..battery life....performance...and i wish to make super good and modern earphones and customizable with colour ear pads so i can feel trendy and match my outfit and white earphones!! my favourite colour on earphones...quality of earphones are huge advantage for me because of my work..i want to hear fine sounds from it with proper sound isolation...I'm waiting to buy the HTC 10 !! I went from the HTC One M8 to the Samsung s6 worst decision I've made in phone upgrades. I've been waiting for this phone for quite a while now. Can't wait to get my hands on it!
I'm not going to lie, only owned a One M8 (and I resell phones so I've owned every single smartphone that's released in the past six years)... It was one of my favorite phones despite only owning/using it for about a week. The complaints about the M9 were warranted and to actually see a manufacturer pretty much fix or alter everything for their consumer's complaints is awesome. It took them a few phones to get it done but hey, at least they did it. Honestly, on a pure standpoint of improvements I don't think another phone comes close. Of course we'll have to actually see how it performs, if the battery life and camera are disappointing yet again HTC may not survive - so I doubt they would do shoddy work. Still a stunning phone.

I had used only htc phones like htc One, M7, M8, M9+. This time I wanted to buy Samsung Galaxy S7 edge, but you guys made me a fan of HTC again, hope HTC 10 to be the flagship killer.
Thanks HTC, you hit a home run. The best camera, a great looking phone, a beefier battery, and smooth performance. I sat out on the Galaxy S7 and LG G5 for this phone. I have owned mostly HTC devices but got an S6 last time.. BIG MISTAKE. I'm so glad to be coming back to team HTC this time around.
Yes this phone is absolutely perfect for almost anyone. However, I finally learned that IR blaster is now gone.... I know that many don't use it. But it is a huge factor for me and similar people. Please bring it back HTC. You never know how useful a simple IR blaster could be. Currently I use it extensively to control all non-WiFi DSLRs without having to pay extra for a remote with multiple functions. You could use the IR blaster to remotely control multiple things in your room, Monitors, AV Receivers, TVs, Air conditioners, and even customer IR operated switches and lights from just a single device! Losing the IR blaster is just a huge deal breaker, after getting so used to it on the M8. I hope it comes back next year so that people like me could upgrade without giving up anything.
I'm just so relief that the metal casing lives on. The rest of the features would slowly grow on me. That being said, I would have to cover that gorgeous metal casing with a phone cover anyway seeing as how slippery it is. By far though, HTC One M8 is still my favorite hardware. Way to go on that front facing camera, totally genius! Can't wait to purchase my own :D
Just yesterday I saw this in a Mall and quite like it. I am planning to jump from Samsung S6 Edge to this. Hands on heart it is truly amazing and a great phone. It is not annoying or have duplicate apps madnesses in Samsung.
their service is very bad .. my sincere advice is not to buy from them... quality is just pathetic.. my htc one had a defective display and went dead within 2 yrs.. Apple would have replaced such a defective device but not HTC

Shelby Davis maybe they do that in your country.. but India is a market they neglect .. HTC's the worst phone brand ever.. I've bought a LeEco and I'm much happier now

I'm so happy.. I've been a HTC fan since HTC Desire Bravo A818 2010 After that I went for the HTC ONE X, loved it but sadly i dropped it..... Upgraded to HTC Desire Eye, Loved it, it was in my opinion better than the HTC One M8 but sadly dropped it. Then went for HTC One M9+ but the battery life just wasn't enough so changed to Huawei Nexus 6P but now i am going back to HTC again, very happy to see the company I've been always sticking by finally getting back in the game
I really hope you guys turn the game around starting with M10, there's so much potential in everything you do, but always something that holds you back against competitors. M7 was great, minus the camera, and M10 looks beautiful but hopefully it holds up on the inside, and you guys continue with the simple/beautiful design and speedy software. Keep it up!
thank you HTC it's beautiful I was going to get the S7 Edge but until seeing this and everything you guys did definitely changed my mind I knew to wait and see what you guys were doing I already knew what it was going to look like because you guys let it leak and I wish you would not let the phone leak until the day you announce it it just ruins the anticipation but all in all it's a pretty looking phone and I know what I'm getting now thank you HTC for the wonderful job
I wasn't too excited about this phone when it was announced but it has really grown on me. I've been an htc user for the past 4 years between the m7 and m8 and when I saw the lack of dual front speakers I was put off. After learning about the 24bit dac and the new take on boomsound I think Im okay with it. When compared to the competition htc simply out does them with the software and design/build quality. The only issue with htc one phones has been the camera, hopefully the ten can fix that issue. I look forward to giving this phone a shot.
I've had an m7 and an m8 and I absolutely love them. The m9 didn't have anything that made me want to get it and although this htc10 have some great improvements, I think I'm gonna pass for a few reasons, mainly because I do use the IR A LOT, I have no idea why you guys removed it, that was one of the things I loved the most from HTC, you should've removed the fingerprint scanner, that thing has me all paranoid with the way carriers spy on us. Anyway, the other thing I don't like much, is the speakers placement, I loved the front facing ones, I guess I'll just have to wait and test them out to see if they're actually better. And lastly, although the new usb port is becoming a standard, it's not that popular yet, and it's great to just ask someone with like a Samsung for a charger and be able to use it. I guess this might be an interesting option in a year or so, but definitely not now.
This phone, smartphone, super-extra device is really the Top. Had some doubts, which one to choose, now definitely know that it will be best, the HTC10.
I will be ordering this device, battery size and life major seller. Love all the improvements, sound is major since i need to hear on a phone major function, adjusting that camera is huge plus its whats held me back from previous models. Metal body is and design has always been a highlight of htc devices they always have visually stimulating presentation. Have to look see screen in person im sure they have made it look better than previous versions im ok with lcd 4k display great sacrifice for battery life and cost effeciency as we know your bouncing back. Im choosing this over g5 because i believe htc and want to see them back in the game. Back on the block means hungry for the customer satisfaction, proving themselves again.

def getting a HTC 10. why love HTC. still using my m7 and I hate to give it up after 3 years battery still last all day. and never had one single issue with it. whil friends are constantly having bugs and battery life issues with their galaxys
Everything seems to be clean, build quality is awesome and beautiful, screen to body ratio is great, software inside is as clean as vanilla android and most of all i like the return of capacitive buttons which ensure you enjoy your 5.2inch display without being compromised by navigation bar.
This may make me give up my Note 5. I REALLY like the audiophile grade sound (ill wait for reviews on this), and the more Vanilla (google) like UI. Wish it was 5.5 inch, but otherwise...looks great. I had the Thunderbolt, liked it....except, NO Updates,. was stuck on 3.6 or whatever for ages
Although I use a samsung now, I miss my HTC. The brightest innovation ever created by HTC was two Speakers for dynamic sound quality. I wish other cell phone companies would get up with this standard and realize the same thing. Listening to music on my cell phone or watching a video with the sound projected away from me has never made sense. I cant wait to pay off my phone (which I love as well NOTE 4 By Samsung) and go back to what I loved even better. I LOVE HTC!!! You guys ROCK!!!! I am just curious... I've been using Samsung Mobile phones since ever can't say no to that, but since HTC One M7 ( and we talk here about the lowest performance in the M class ) came up on the market i've completely change my mind about Samsung. Noticed you said about the UltraPixel on the 4MP doesn't let you zoom and thing, honestly i don't find that as a problem at all. In fact i was stunned with the camera. I was stunned with everything with that phone, especially the BeatsAudio or as i'm calling it BeastMode. Now to cut to the speech, honestly i never adored HTC ( seriously i can't lie ), but that is that i never used one. Now i'm entirely in love with my M7, but you guys seem promising about the 10, so i really hope i can get my hands on one of those phones. *ps: If you could return the HTC logo in the down center front that would perfect the picture.
I've got the One M9. Decent phone, but I've really been looking for something a bit better. I'm pretty impressed with the 10 so far. It appears to be an improvement over the 9 in every way. It looks a bit like the iPhone now, which is good because I like their design, just not what's inside. I'll be keeping an eye out for the 10 once there's a version available for Verizon.
this phone looks amazing.. I would still rather have both the speakers on front, I have a Nexus 6P and M8 for Windows and I love the front speakers.. I love the fingerprint scanner but I'd rather have it on the back so the speakers can shine on the front, like the 6P.. actually HTC did great with having the speakers and the scanner on front with the M9 Plus, I was hoping that phone would come to the US

M8 is an amazing phone! HTC made Android something wonderful with their design, boomsound and Sense UI.
Struggled with M9, but hope HTC revived the their past glory with M7 and M8 today!
can't wait to get it.. I've been waiting an waiting for the next HTC phone to come out..ever since I got this HTC phone u guys got me hooked.. I had all the iPhones an notes and galaxys but I would still choose an HTC.. u just have to own 1 to experience it..hope this comment helps somebody.

I had used only htc phones like htc One, M7, M8, M9+. This time I wanted to buy Samsung Galaxy S7 edge, but you guys made me a fan of HTC again, hope HTC 10 to be the flagship killer.
The back design looks a little like my S6 fitted with a Spigen Tough Armor which has the same slopes as the 10. Looks awesome!
Thanks HTC, you hit a home run. The best camera, a great looking phone, a beefier battery, and smooth performance. I sat out on the Galaxy S7 and LG G5 for this phone. I have owned mostly HTC devices but got an S6 last time.. BIG MISTAKE. I'm so glad to be coming back to team HTC this time around.

Yes this phone is absolutely perfect for almost anyone. However, I finally learned that IR blaster is now gone.... I know that many don't use it. But it is a huge factor for me and similar people. Please bring it back HTC.
You never know how useful a simple IR blaster could be.
Currently I use it extensively to control all non-WiFi DSLRs without having to pay extra for a remote with multiple functions.
You could use the IR blaster to remotely control multiple things in your room, Monitors, AV Receivers, TVs, Air conditioners, and even customer IR operated switches and lights from just a single device!
Losing the IR blaster is just a huge deal breaker, after getting so used to it on the M8. I hope it comes back next year so that people like me could upgrade without giving up anything.
This really makes me want to upgrade from my 6P. Great job HTC.
I'm just so relief that the metal casing lives on. The rest of the features would slowly grow on me. That being said, I would have to cover that gorgeous metal casing with a phone cover anyway seeing as how slippery it is. By far though, HTC One M8 is still my favorite hardware. Way to go on that front facing camera, totally genius! Can't wait to purchase my own :D

Just yesterday I saw this in a Mall and quite like it. I am planning to jump from Samsung S6 Edge to this.
Hands on heart it is truly amazing and a great phone. It is not annoying or have duplicate apps madnesses in Samsung.

their service is very bad .. my sincere advice is not to buy from them... quality is just pathetic.. my htc one had a defective display and went dead within 2 yrs.. Apple would have replaced such a defective device but not HTC
+HTCAmerica I used to like htc two yrs back.. but my phone was defective .. defective display, defective audio and then it went dead and HTC India demanded 50% of the price for servicing it.initially and all of a sudden they said support for M7 has been stopped. way to go HTC .. you've lost a customer for life!

Shelby Davis maybe they do that in your country.. but India is a market they neglect .. HTC's the worst phone brand ever.. I've bought a LeEco and I'm much happier now
"If it doesn't squint them eyes don't cop that ride. HTC always had the baddest looking phones, like a nice whip. If I am to believe this ad, I'd say HTC took everything at their disposal and put it into the 10. I wish the bezels had been a tad smaller, other than that, flawless!

After that I went for the HTC ONE X, loved it but sadly i dropped it.....
Upgraded to HTC Desire Eye, Loved it, it was in my opinion better than the HTC One M8 but sadly dropped it.
Then went for HTC One M9+ but the battery life just wasn't enough so changed to Huawei Nexus 6P but now i am going back to HTC again, very happy to see the company I've been always sticking by finally getting back in the game

this is my fst HTC and I like it. Everything is all rounder.
I really hope you guys turn the game around starting with M10, there's so much potential in everything you do, but always something that holds you back against competitors. M7 was great, minus the camera, and M10 looks beautiful but hopefully it holds up on the inside, and you guys continue with the simple/beautiful design and speedy software. Keep it up!

thank you HTC it's beautiful I was going to get the S7 Edge but until seeing this and everything you guys did definitely changed my mind I knew to wait and see what you guys were doing I already knew what it was going to look like because you guys let it leak and I wish you would not let the phone leak until the day you announce it it just ruins the anticipation but all in all it's a pretty looking phone and I know what I'm getting now thank you HTC for the wonderful job

I wasn't too excited about this phone when it was announced but it has really grown on me. I've been an htc user for the past 4 years between the m7 and m8 and when I saw the lack of dual front speakers I was put off. After learning about the 24bit dac and the new take on boomsound I think Im okay with it. When compared to the competition htc simply out does them with the software and design/build quality. The only issue with htc one phones has been the camera, hopefully the ten can fix that issue. I look forward to giving this phone a shot.
I've had an m7 and an m8 and I absolutely love them.
The m9 didn't have anything that made me want to get it and although this htc10 have some great improvements, I think I'm gonna pass for a few reasons, mainly because I do use the IR A LOT, I have no idea why you guys removed it, that was one of the things I loved the most from HTC, you should've removed the fingerprint scanner, that thing has me all paranoid with the way carriers spy on us.
Anyway, the other thing I don't like much, is the speakers placement, I loved the front facing ones, I guess I'll just have to wait and test them out to see if they're actually better.
And lastly, although the new usb port is becoming a standard, it's not that popular yet, and it's great to just ask someone with like a Samsung for a charger and be able to use it. I guess this might be an interesting option in a year or so, but definitely not now.

This phone, smartphone, super-extra device is really the Top. Had some doubts, which one to choose, now definitely know that it will be best, the HTC10.
for the longest time I thought the speakers were only on the bottom and lost all hope, but now I am happy
I will be ordering this device, battery size and life major seller. Love all the improvements, sound is major since i need to hear on a phone major function, adjusting that camera is huge plus its whats held me back from previous models. Metal body is and design has always been a highlight of htc devices they always have visually stimulating presentation. Have to look see screen in person im sure they have made it look better than previous versions im ok with lcd 4k display great sacrifice for battery life and cost effeciency as we know your bouncing back. Im choosing this over g5 because i believe htc and want to see them back in the game. Back on the block means hungry for the customer satisfaction, proving themselves again.

I've had Samsung and LG and HTC and I love them all. but I've always loved HTC. never had any problems with HTC.
def getting a HTC 10. why love HTC. still using my m7 and I hate to give it up after 3 years battery still last all day. and never had one single issue with it. whil friends are constantly having bugs and battery life issues with their galaxys

Everything seems to be clean, build quality is awesome and beautiful, screen to body ratio is great, software inside is as clean as vanilla android and most of all i like the return of capacitive buttons which ensure you enjoy your 5.2inch display without being compromised by navigation bar.

I'm still using my HTC one m7 , battery life sucks now but been good for 2.5 years
This may make me give up my Note 5. I REALLY like the audiophile grade sound (ill wait for reviews on this), and the more Vanilla (google) like UI.
Wish it was 5.5 inch, but otherwise...looks great.
I had the Thunderbolt, liked it....except, NO Updates,. was stuck on 3.6 or whatever for ages

Although I use a samsung now, I miss my HTC. The brightest innovation ever created by HTC was two Speakers for dynamic sound quality. I wish other cell phone companies would get up with this standard and realize the same thing. Listening to music on my cell phone or watching a video with the sound projected away from me has never made sense. I cant wait to pay off my phone (which I love as well NOTE 4 By Samsung) and go back to what I loved even better. I LOVE HTC!!! You guys ROCK!!!! I am just curious... Does the HTC 10 pair with a Samsung Gear S Smartwatch???

I've been using Samsung Mobile phones since ever can't say no to that, but since HTC One M7 ( and we talk here about the lowest performance in the M class ) came up on the market i've completely change my mind about Samsung.
Noticed you said about the UltraPixel on the 4MP doesn't let you zoom and thing, honestly i don't find that as a problem at all. In fact i was stunned with the camera. I was stunned with everything with that phone, especially the BeatsAudio or as i'm calling it BeastMode.
Now to cut to the speech, honestly i never adored HTC ( seriously i can't lie ), but that is that i never used one. Now i'm entirely in love with my M7, but you guys seem promising about the 10, so i really hope i can get my hands on one of those phones.
*ps: If you could return the HTC logo in the down center front that would perfect the picture.
If you're happy with the One M7 then we can't even imagine how you'll feel about the HTC 10. It's definitely a device you have to check out.

I've got the One M9. Decent phone, but I've really been looking for something a bit better. I'm pretty impressed with the 10 so far. It appears to be an improvement over the 9 in every way. It looks a bit like the iPhone now, which is good because I like their design, just not what's inside. I'll be keeping an eye out for the 10 once there's a version available for Verizon.

this phone looks amazing.. I would still rather have both the speakers on front, I have a Nexus 6P and M8 for Windows and I love the front speakers.. I love the fingerprint scanner but I'd rather have it on the back so the speakers can shine on the front, like the 6P.. actually HTC did great with having the speakers and the scanner on front with the M9 Plus, I was hoping that phone would come to the US
