The PlayStation 5 Pro might be on the horizon, but I still believe the current PS5 is worth buying in 2024- and that won't be changing anytime soon. What do you think? And what's your favorite game of the current generation? Spider-Man 2 was a blast, albeit a little too short for my taste. (also if anyone can find someone who put a PS5 in a tree before me please don't tell me, it's my proudest accomplishment)
Hey, I’m curious about the iPhone 4s that belonged to Edmund on iOS 5, did you ever get an answer, do you still have the phone, did you find out any more about it?
Not worth it at all because i found out that the horizon forbidden west burning shores dlc is on it and i got REAL MAD and i'm talking about REAL MAD and now i was forced to hate horizon for the rest of my life, but also i found out that there's a Nour play with your food version on ps5 AND AGAIN I GOT REAL MAAAAD! SO THAT'S WHY IT'S NOT WORTH IT AND I HATE THE CREATORS OF PLAYSTATION NOW!
@@Bugsnak_Crewcould you explain that to me I don’t understand I want a PlayStation because I have an Xbox but I’m not sure if to wait for the pro or what?
Right I had to rub my eyes like what. I could see questioning if the switch is worth it but we have a long ass time before the PS6. We haven’t even gotten this generations GTA yet 💀
I was gifted a ps5 slim for my birthday today. Im coming from switch and playing a couple retro games on my pc. Im completely blown away by the graphics in these games - they look like movies to me.
@@Ares_pb I feel you brother. That's what I'm planning right now. It's my birthday today and I got nothing, waiting till Christmas to hopefully get a PS5. Or I might go another birthday and Christmas for a pc, but i don't think i can wait that long.
I love the PS5 for two main reasons: the SSD and the controller (best first party controller ever in my opinion). I don't even care it doesn't have that many great games, I like the ability to play the entire PS4 catalogue with (mostly) enhanced framerates and graphics, and the extra PS5 games are a cherry on top.
And non Ps5 games like BDG3 and Alan Wake 2 and so on. 140 Ps4 games have the free 4k/60fps patch for the Ps5 so far . Why play your old ps4 games at 1080p/30fps when you can play many at 2160p/60fps .
My only issue with the Dualsense is the fact that it doesn't use any of the Hall effects sticks that are supported on both Xbox and Nintendo systems now, if the Dualsense had these in the thumbsticks I would be less hesitant to play my console, especially since the controllers are the same price as a singular game
Just got mine today, and I will say it’s an 8/10 but checking download percent is annoying instead hovering over your games and apps. The technology with all their controllers never surprises me but it’s honestly in my top 3 controllers. If you missed out on the last console gen this or the series x is the best especially if you were using an Xbox one or skipped out on this gen you could play the exclusives and games that weren’t ported to Xbox like myself
@_Boxodbox_08_ It's not friendly if you have weak internet. My wifi is pretty weak, and my ps5 wouldn't even pick it up when I was setting it up, I had to manually connect it to wifi, vs my PS4 which picked it up right away. If you get the Slim Disc Edition, you'll need internet to register the disc drive.
@@Box0gears Don’t get one if the internet isn’t on par, just stay with a PS4 because it’s not as bad as Xbox with constant humming of the fan when checking connectivity. Sorry I didn’t respond to it as fast as I could but he’s pretty much spot on
@@gn2727I’d say it’s definitely on preference I enjoy indies, PS exclusives, and it’s ease of access to media like music, RUclips, the Series X takes a bit longer (5-30 seconds) to load apps but that’s without an SSD compared to my PS5. Cloud streaming is cheaper but the amount of internet speeds you need is crazy compared to PS Streaming. I would say the controller is great but it’s definitely done to preference when it comes to controller, I’m an xbox guy but I really do like the PS5 controller but Xbox one/Series controller feels great but I’m on the fence about that
Bought a ps5 - 12 days ago. I was a part of the PC Master Race, but still owned a few consoles here and there. I got myself a PS4 slim towards the end of its lifecycle. I was surprised at the number of exclusives available for the system. What impressed me even more was the level of optimisation that the games had as it ran pretty good on hardware which was released in 2013. Played all the exclusives I wanted to play, and sold it at the peak of the PS5 scarcity, as sony initially stated that they were not going to allow cross generation game development. Yeah, I regret selling it. As for getting the PS5, my GPU went kaputz a few weeks back. Financially, it made sense to get a PS5 rather than spend a boatload of money for a GPU(GPU’s are very expensive in India). The level of optimisation and the longevity of consoles further pushed me to get the system. But now I have second thoughts on the system. As Josh and other RUclipsrs mention in their videos, pure Gen5 game development has only begun. There are very few games that we can call truly next gen. It has been disappointing to see the state of the Gen5 console gaming. Xbox has been dead for a while, with stats claiming buying ratio of 1 xbox to 3 PS5 units. Due to the lack of competition from Xbox, Sony has been dormant unlike the PS4 era. Really hope to see this scenario to change down the line, or I might get buyers guilt for not waiting for the ‘pro’ or the PS6. Cheers guys.
Call it “optimization” of you want. 9th gen consoles are just too powerful to use all that power. It takes too much development time. So developers make less ambitious games visually and put them on ps4, when they could have been a ps4 game in the first place with no trouble.
I got mine around October '23 and that's all I've been using lately. I love the controllers and several games that are specific to the PS platform. My last PS was a PS3 which I still have. It's got very few hours on it because it just never grabbed me like my PC did back then. My PS5 is the fat disk version but I got it at Costco with a great bundle that included GOW, a second blue controller and the Sony charging station. That deal was too good to pass up and there was nothing exciting about the new slim versions, especially their prices.
I got mine like a week ago, it's been hell of an experience, and I'm in more or less same boat as you got PS4 Slim at the end of it's cycle, played all exclusives and sold it. What I don't like is the lack of new good games, it's mostly remake or the games that were also on PS4 like FW and Ragnarok for an instance. Very few exclusives atm, but I also don't mind cus I don't wanna spend lakhs on PC upgrade for optimization standard to be dogshit these days anyways. I just hope I don't regret I didn't wait for Pro version like you stated.
PS4 launched in 2013, the PS generations usually last about 9 years. Not sure why the video is saying it’s half way through its life cycle at 2 years in
I still remember Cyberpunk's fiasco like it was yesterday, people saying that on PS5/Series was less buggy but nobody was able to buy them due to scalpers lmao
I just got one and played Like a Dragon Ishin. It’s fun. I finished my ps4 games on it and platinum it. Also the added frames help a whole lot in dealing with bad fps from earlier gen.
Great vid, I just ordered a PS5 slim as part of Amazon’s spring sale, reduced from £479.99 to £389.99 after deliberating for the past 48ish hrs 😅 had a standard PS4 and been able to play online with friends on PS5 for a few years now, definitely been a weird transition but beneficial for some including myself. I wonder if PS5 - PS6 will be the same

I've just upgraded from ps4 to ps5 slim. Just one frustrating thing is the download time for new games. I remember the good old days when I bought a game. Open the box and insert the disc into console and walla! I could play the game instantly. None of this waiting round for half a day waiting for a game to download
This year, I finally can enjoy "The next gen experience" with this guy. Although it was at Rental. I even recorded my Gameplay using recorder built-in, much like what PSX had
My good friend called me out this morning and encouraged me to buy a PS5; he bought the Samurai Showdown package and we were reminiscing about using Nakoruru in SS 2. It's been decades since I've been active in the gaming world and I didn't know where to begin. So I typed "PS5" here on youtube and your video schooled me in under eight-teen minutes- thank you! Knowing that I can play PS4 games in the PS5 console and that the current one will do everything I need it to do now saves me time wondering if I should wait or not. I'm excited for this new chapter in gaming for me, thank you for helping me decide which PS console at this time gives the most bang for your buck.
Do you recommend me to do the upgrade? I'm a PS3 user. (No joke, I have the phat ver. that plays PS2 games). I haven't bought a ps4 or 5 but now I'm considering making an upgrade, should I do it? A new Ps4 with GoW is cheaper here where I live but for $70 more I can get a ps5 slim bundle with ratchet and clank and Returnal.
Buy the ps5 with disc drive. You can still play all those ps4 games but have the best experience with them. Plus if there are any used games stores near you you can probably get many of the best ps4 games used for cheap
@nelsonsham2368 I mean that's just the state of console gaming at this point. Unless you want to shell out for a gaming pc everything is paid online play. Can't play the newest games on ps3...
@@brianp6859 people kinda forget Nintendo exist... and they are beating both Xbox and PS in console hardware and software in this generation Annd yes PC is eating good this generation of console
Games don't look old because they are released on old hardware. A console don't make graphics. A graphics engine makes new graphics. New games released like MK1, Quarry are still using Unreal 4. A game engine designed ten years ago, and that's why they don't look any better.
I bought a used disc of "Horizon Forbidden West" and "Jedi Survivor" from a bargain bin for $10 each. Try to find those games on PS Store digital for that price. The $50 saving for the digital Ps5 is not worth it .
@@Crashed131963 that's your opinion I have no desire to collect or disc swap to play games I'm I'm my 30s grew up in the cartridge/ disc era I'm good on that but you enjoy 👍🏾
i wouldnt say so, i've had multiple ps5s and the only actual ps5 game i played was rift apart, theres just not many actual ps5 games, it's all remakes and ps4 titles
Lmao, what a stupid comment. PS5 SSD and 60fps across essentially all games. If you can WHY would you not upgrade? Why persist with the slow as f*ck PS4 mechanical hard drive?
I got one a couple weeks ago because when GTA 6 gets released, it will only work on the PS5 and the Xbox. It will probably come a year later for the PC (if not more). For those of us who grew up with GTA 5, we've been waiting SO long for this game that getting a PS5 was simply a necessity. I believe that there will be no stock of PS5/Xbox when that game gets released, so now it looks like the perfect time to buy it. It also has some great games, but for me being able to play GTA 6 alone is worth the money.
You better hope it comes out on the ps5 because I'm hearing stories that Sony saying that it might be on its last life span I don't know if it's true but with GTA 6 coming out you never know they might pull an stunt like the only way you can play GTA 6 is to get the new ps6🤷
@@tyreekjones5668 nah that won't happen it'll work on ps5 slim or fat maybe not with same fps but it'll work. Cause Sony won't disappoint whole ps community.
Yes, but for certain target customers. - Families with teenagers at home. - People who like playing with friends on a couch. - People who are casuals that prefer to game on a 40 to 60-inch screen in a living room. (Me) - People who badly want to play the exclusive games that PlayStation offers.
Higher refresh rate, higher frame rate, SSD speeds.. even if you have a backlog of PS4 games, the games are objectively better on PS5. After 60fps with most games now on PS5, I can even got back to mechanical PS4 speeds.
I've been jamming the PS4 pro forever, believe it or not I wanted the PlayStation 5 forever too and my son owns a gaming store but they were so hard to come by I mean his business comes first! I finally got my PlayStation 5 slim disc and I'm telling you I could not be happier! The gameplay is just so much better, the graphics the load times etc etc etc! I do not regret this decision whatsoever and I couldn't be happier with the performance and the all-around experience including the resolution and frame rates! I played resident evil 4 remake that I played before on the PlayStation 4 pro and the differences were astounding to me! Some people say they couldn't tell the difference, I most definitely could! I did not enjoy the game as much on the PlayStation 4 pro but absolutely enjoyed it on the PlayStation 5 slim! And I'm not easy on my systems as they'll play for 12:15 hours straight! But I also have a dedicated fan that I set up to make sure to dissipate the heat away from the unit! My suggestion is don't wait! I mean you could wait but then you get it and there are a few bugs in it and things just don't quite work as well as they should as it being a launch model ! I've been gaming for 45 years and I feel like a kid again with this system!
I haven't owned a console since PS1, and went to PC since then. However I fell out of the trend back in the early 2010s when everything went digital exclusive and physical discs were no longer sold. I still have a PC, but upgrade costs way too high and not worth a whole new system just to play a bunch of select titles. I'm considering going for the PS5 - most likely Slim as the Pro prices in Australia (when it gets released) could be in the excess of $900 plus - which is BS for a console. It would be a win win for me, as there's certainly games esp Hitman WOA on full disk that only came out on 5, as well as playing catch up on the last 10 plus years of decent PS4 titles too.
@@truckercowboyed2638 There have been 9 total exclusive games for the system in 4 years, so if you arn't interested in Japanese themed games, or Marvel, you are left with 4 games. One of which (astros playroom) is a demo game (really fun though).
My advice, if you like couch co-op or can't afford a PC get a ps5 or Xbox but if you don't couch co-op get a PC which is more power more everything for more but for less if you consider the use and overall value, and the reason why is there no literally no exclusives with the ps5 or Xbox you can basically get everything on PC, the only console it doesn't apply to is the switch but even then you can emulate but at least that has exclusive niche games and is portable, my ps5 is catching dust, the industry is basically (PC, XBOX, PS) vs (Android, IOS) vs (Switch)
I went with PS5 slim digital. So far I’m happy with size. I’m not bother about plastic legs as they do what what they supposed to do(not noticeable at all) and console is stable in horizontal position. You can see that slim model is made for Sony to cut cost. Power and hdmi cables quality is typical to Sony so mediocre at best. Controller seems better quality that Xbox Series that are haunted by stick drift problems.
I love my PS5 but like… only because I skipped the entire PS4/Xbone generation. If I’d had a PS4, I’d be annoyed about how much the PS5 is just a remake machine. I compared FF7R ps4 to PS5 And I honestly can’t even tell the difference.
You've trained me with these videos. Thinking of getting a PS5 and thought, "I wonder if someone has made one of those PS5 in 2024 videos like Josh makes..."
please can u tell me which when is better ps5 slim or ps5 and is there going to be more exclusive game on these 2 when pro comes out or no thank you so much
Well to help you in this both are the same but the slim have less power draw and have 1tb of storage then normal 825gb and as for the pro you need to wait for Sony to say something and what to buy is up to you if you want more options for games buy PS5 with disc if not buy digital I would say buy the slim at least you will have the choice to change to blueraydrive if it fails
The PS5 is genuinely one of my favourite consoles. Being able to play PS4 games at a smooth 60 along with a great mix of indie and PS5 exclusives is brilliant.

For the current generation i entirely decided to opt for PC gaming due to the fact that for my personal life i get more use out of it and also Sony just released all the "exclusives" for pc and for games like Bloodborn u can just ask a friend for a ps4-5 and complete the game that way there's no reason to buy an entire console solely for that.Hopefully the next generation of consoles won't be so mediocre I'm not hating on anyone or anything just trying to bring reason to the discussion. I still haven't bought one and been on series s for Xbox been a fan of Sony but that was the only next gen I was able to get my hands on at the time, so now debating rather I'll get a ps5 or not as my Xbox s is amazing and once again I have always been with Sony but at this point I'll probably wait till gta6 hits the shelves before I think about getting one of these
People (including the guy selling me the thing at walmart) advised me against buying the digital slim. However I bought it anyway and I've never been happier with a purchase
I still have at least a dozen PS4 games to wade through, due in large part to developers not understanding the concept of tight, well written stories. As much as I enjoyed Days Gone, it dragged on forever. The last game I truly enjoyed almost every minute of was Uncharted 4, because it had a likeable main character, a strong supporting cast, and a story without unnecessary bloat. So, it's little wonder that I'm avoiding this generation of consoles when the last truly enjoyable game I played was on my PS4 Pro eight years ago. I regularly replay titles like the original Last of Us because they don't preach at me, and I love and have replayed Everybody's Gone to the Rapture because I've never before or since been engrossed in such an evocative environment. These are PS4 (Pro) games I've not seen the equal of on PS5, and The Last of Us was, of course, originally on PS3, yet it still wipes the floor with games running on hardware far, far more powerful. My point is that we've reached the stage, it appears, where technology has outpaced creativity. I'm more interested in a compelling story, characters and atmosphere than zillions of pixels flying around a screen showing me how impressive the technology is. I also refuse to give my money to games companies whose political allegiances and need to preach outweigh their desire to enthral, captivate and entertain. I've had a choice in the last three years: to buy a new games console dominated by upscaled old games, and hand over £70 for the privilege,, or to carry on enjoying my PS4 Pro, and use the money I've saved on real life adventures overseas I'll remember forever. I've gone with the latter option, flying off to Egypt last year and New York two months ago. Next year, it's back to America to re-visit New York, then head over to San Francisco and LA. Instead of living vicariously, my money is giving me real life memories and adventures. If console manufacturers and games designers are unable to provide great, memorable experiences anymore, I'll carry on finding real world ones, and eventually consign my days of gaming to the past.
Is worth it. The console itself it’s great it’s just this generation is lacklustre in terms of games. It’s worth it for the faster load times, better frame rate and 4k and the cool features the controller has

Personally my PS4 vanilla has lasted me years but it’s been chugging along for a while. Fans were loud as hell and the heat was crazy. Loading times were a chore every time I put in a new disc. I probably would’ve gotten a Pro to upgrade it but PS5 Slim felt like a better investment due to backwards compatibility and Rest Mode downloads of games. Worth it on Christmas or major sales and especially bundled with a game you want like Spider-Man.
The Ps5 is still great for people who want to play new AAA games for $500 not for $700 with a Ps5 Pro . Same reason people buy the Xbox-S instead of the more expensive Xbox-X. 140 Ps4 games have the free 4k/60fps patch now ,that alone is worth it .
yes, late comment bc youtube randomly put it on my homepage buti just got my ps5 slim digital 2 weeks ago. coming from PC, Switch and My Old PS1+2 im more than impressed. Sure my PC is stronger but I enjoyed Couch-Playing again. I didnt regret buying, got mine in a 100$ off deal.
I wasn't really all gung-ho on getting the PS5 to begin with since it'd be fruitless to upgrade since there'd still be plenty of games PS4 would release during its life cycle. Fast-forward to now, I realized the PS4 won't have much games released for it in 2025 and the PS5 can stream gameplay on Discord and stuff, so that was a wake-up call to upgrade. I'll likely get this as a Christmas or birthday present.
Thanks for the great video. I am thinking of buying PS5 slim in the next week or two. Your video helped me decide. Not waiting for the Pro. But just clarify, PS 4 games can be played on the PS 5? Thanks again. Cheers
Can you play the PS5 Slim disc drive after removing the disc drive, I want to turn it into a digital PS5… ???? Because where I live they don’t have digital PS5 slims .. I’ll also add a digital faceplate

Got PS5 yesterday PS5 1tb slim Disc-edition. Had a PS4pro 1tb-ssd disc-edition. Run much smoother on PS5. Didn't like the low fps on PS4 even pro it wasn't good. I'm gonna get the PS5pro when it's being out for 1.5yr or soo. The big difference i notice was the FPS, and little better graphic, but i haven't tried much games jet, only couple. The FPS on the PS4 games was way better on the PS5, The eyes don't hurt, and brain don't hurt and falloff and get blown away by the PS4 10.000rpm fan's . hehe The RUST game look's little sharper, Graphic looks almost the same. But it runs soo smooth. What's the fps for RUST on PS5? Feels like 100fps or some on PS5 an 15fps on PS4. Makes it easier to play and hit in combat. The new controller prob help some to. I paid around 700euro (7000kr/swe). I think its little too much, and i don't want the Digital Edition, it was needed to upgrade.
I got a ps5 about 6 months ago. I still haven’t taken it out of the box. I have no desire to play it at all but it was on sale. Every game that comes out is basically just a money sucking scam now anyways.
3:43 yeah, I keep hearing this argument, constantly. I’ll just say this, if game developers wanted to, they surely could make a version that can be played on the new consoles without having to “compromise”, it’s not the fault of people still playing on the old consoles, far from it, these new consoles just do not provide any significant changes or reasons to upgrade or trade in for the new consoles, I’m sorry but having to decide if I want to *SOLELY* play with 4K or 60fps isn’t convincing, we were told that these new consoles would make it impossible for any of us to go back and game with our old consoles, well, it sure seems like y’all are still having to decide if you want the best graphics or the best performance, not much different from what we’re getting on the old gen 🤷 Just stop blaming us for the “compromises” cause, again, they can release a PS4/Xbox One version and a PS5/Xbox Series X/S version, but they don’t. Why? Because it’s not that different
I don't regret my purchase at all its pretty great and I woudn't put stock in the PS5 Pro, we are barely scratching the surface of the actual PS5s power so what is the point. The main reason I enjoyed it was PS+ before the price hike, it was seriously nuts value, even now there are so many great games on sale that its probably worth it to jump in.
I'm a pc gamer that's looking into getting a ps5. I've heard a lot of games run at 4k 30fps and that is absolutely bananas. It's 2024 and people are pushing 200+ fps. 30fps is unplayable for me. How many games are capped at 30fps, is there an option to set games to 1080p 60fps instead of 4k 30fps, and if so, what percentages of games give you that option?
@@frisby7143 I ended up picking a ps5 up the day after making that comment, and I'm pretty sure, most if not all, games run at 30 fps on resolution mode.

Wished there was a way Sony could make the Vita or a future handheld as a pseudo Switch for the PS5. For example I could download the Castlevania to the Vita and play on the go, and when I get back home I can sync the save data to update my progress on both the home console and handheld. And do this without the need for an internet connection. Like using a cable to transfer your saved data from the PS4 to PS5.
Honestly the ps5 is always worth it never had any major issues it’s cheap considering how much pcs are and the amount of problems I have had on a good pc and honestly 60fps feels smooth if you choose the right settings
yes that part! pc's are so damn expensive! and even still, someone could have a better build than you just cuz they got the $ to waste on the best hardware. At least the playing field is equal on consoles. besides fancy controllers or whatever, but that doest compare to Framerates and ping drops 😂 also, sitting at a desk feels like a job, i want to Relax when i play games, not feel like a sweat
I love my PS5 and hope to get a Series X again so I can have both. I enjoy the PS5 a lot more because I like the controller and the exclusives, but both consoles are great in there own way. I think it might be able to go on for four more years. But I'm very worried about GTA 6. It definitely won't be able to run at 1080p 60fps unless Rockstar did some crazy optimization.
I was hype for a ps5 when it first came out. Was disappointed with its availability and the excess scalping which left me with the choice of skipping anything ps5 related. Im not spending extra for anything that can be bought market value, also im not ordering something and waiting a prolonged period of time. Id rather grab and go when im buying a system and no loops. Pros: you can detach and attach different covers basically changung the look of the ps5, graphics are improved and are more realistic Cons: sony basically made ps5 users technicians because they made it where you have to take apart the console and clean it, also the fact that it has low storage i.g GB's suck and you have to but a ssd chip for more storage.
Calling it now PS5 Pro will be 800 bucks thats 200 more from PS5s original value when it first released basing it off Sony Directs shop where i got mine

Is there somewhere to find this list?
My only issue with the Dualsense is the fact that it doesn't use any of the Hall effects sticks that are supported on both Xbox and Nintendo systems now, if the Dualsense had these in the thumbsticks I would be less hesitant to play my console, especially since the controllers are the same price as a singular game
You can love it very many reasons, except games lol.
bro formulated the title like it's been a few months since the ps6 realesed, and honestly i cant blame him
Just got mine today, and I will say it’s an 8/10 but checking download percent is annoying instead hovering over your games and apps.
Ah alright,Thank you for answering. I greatly appreciate it.

Xbox has been dead for a while, with stats claiming buying ratio of
1 xbox to 3 PS5 units.
I love my ps5 because 140 ps4 games have the free 4k/60fps patch for the ps5.

You still got a ps4? 😅 just wait for the 6, the 5 is at the end of its life, Sony admitted this..

Should have waited for PS6. Learned my lesson with the 5
The Ps5 is still great for people who want to play new AAA games for $500 not for $700 with a Ps5 Pro .
Same reason people buy the Xbox-S instead of the more expensive Xbox-X.
140 Ps4 games have the free 4k/60fps patch now ,that alone is worth it .
Buy a base ps5 or wait? Will the wait worth?!
The diference of the performance will value the money that Sony will ask for they Pro model
You should wait, for sure.
@@markwegner6100 yeah i will
yes, late comment bc youtube randomly put it on my homepage buti just got my ps5 slim digital 2 weeks ago. coming from PC, Switch and My Old PS1+2 im more than impressed.
Cut PS5 in half, along the line, don't TRUST ME, Now you got 2 PS5.
You can sell the part whit the disc. And get some back.
Gonna be half the price for digital games too.
I wish I had a PS5, but it costs too much. I plan on getting an Xbox Series S as it is cheaper. Currently using an Xbox One S.
Xbox is great if you want to get a taste of next gen gaming. I have one to replace my dead Xbox 360 slim. Never really been interested in the PS5 and their exclusives but I might be in a minority.

I have a Series S and I really do like it, it’s just the games man. It’s killing me, all the games are on PS. I’m probably gonna sell my Series S with the Elite Series 2 controller and put some money together and buy a PS5.
I'm thinking about selling my series x to put towards a ps5 aswell, did you get your ps5 and was it worth it?
@@J2Friskyy yeah I ended up keeping my Xbox. If you’re not gonna have money to play games off the rip then you should wait. I played spiderman ghost of Tsushima and Detroit become human and played Helldivers I’m now playing xdefiant and saving for games.
@glooon4113 I got some cash spare, just seems like PS has the better games atm. Xbox is good for the game pass, but I barely play anything on the pass tbh.
@@J2Friskyy I’m playing ps rn but once bo6 releases I’ll be playing that on Xbox until gta 6 I’d say
What console do you recommend for someone who's going to start streaming games on Twitch for the first time?? 🤔
Why not get pc
@bruhrito1437 Don't really know anything about PC gaming. Plus isn't it more expensive? 😂
@@ytuser4597 fair, I don’t really know too much about it myself. But I feel like it will have more stability and can last you longer than any consoles if you invest in a decent one. But hey, I am not very knowledgeable when it comes to these things 😅
Both can stream on twitch just fine.
Right, right, forgot the ps 7 came out already.. Whyd i think the latest ps worth buying was the 5?
Exactly 😂
Got PS5 yesterday PS5 1tb slim Disc-edition. Had a PS4pro 1tb-ssd disc-edition.
Run much smoother on PS5. Didn't like the low fps on PS4 even pro it wasn't good.
I'm gonna get the PS5pro when it's being out for 1.5yr or soo.
The big difference i notice was the FPS, and little better graphic, but i haven't tried much games jet, only couple.
The FPS on the PS4 games was way better on the PS5,
The eyes don't hurt, and brain don't hurt and falloff and get blown away by the PS4 10.000rpm fan's . hehe
The RUST game look's little sharper, Graphic looks almost the same.
But it runs soo smooth. What's the fps for RUST on PS5?
Feels like 100fps or some on PS5 an 15fps on PS4.
Makes it easier to play and hit in combat. The new controller prob help some to.
I paid around 700euro (7000kr/swe). I think its little too much, and i don't want the Digital Edition,
it was needed to upgrade.
Just bought a PS5 Slim yesterday , what a beautiful piece of hardware! Didnt get to play last night, but I'm going all out today!!!!
I got a ps5 about 6 months ago. I still haven’t taken it out of the box. I have no desire to play it at all but it was on sale. Every game that comes out is basically just a money sucking scam now anyways.
What the hell??! Then take it back to the store man lol 😂😂
You are a fcking sociopath
Im on ps4 at this point im gonna wait for ps6 because ive been hearing that ps5 isnt all that compared to ps4 which is why i havent switched over
the minimal number of PS5 only games is holding me back
Got a ps4 slim in 2019 used to game a lot, but now not so much. Sould I buy the ps5 slim?
3:43 yeah, I keep hearing this argument, constantly. I’ll just say this, if game developers wanted to, they surely could make a version that can be played on the new consoles without having to “compromise”, it’s not the fault of people still playing on the old consoles, far from it, these new consoles just do not provide any significant changes or reasons to upgrade or trade in for the new consoles, I’m sorry but having to decide if I want to *SOLELY* play with 4K or 60fps isn’t convincing, we were told that these new consoles would make it impossible for any of us to go back and game with our old consoles, well, it sure seems like y’all are still having to decide if you want the best graphics or the best performance, not much different from what we’re getting on the old gen 🤷
Just stop blaming us for the “compromises” cause, again, they can release a PS4/Xbox One version and a PS5/Xbox Series X/S version, but they don’t. Why? Because it’s not that different
Only reason for me to buy a PS5 is for NCAA (which is not on PC) or Playstation exclusive games where I don't have to wait four years on PC.
I have a crappy cheap laptop and an Xbox one that I got recently about 6 months ago and I have money saved for a ps5, is it worth it?
I'm a pc gamer that's looking into getting a ps5. I've heard a lot of games run at 4k 30fps and that is absolutely bananas. It's 2024 and people are pushing 200+ fps. 30fps is unplayable for me. How many games are capped at 30fps, is there an option to set games to 1080p 60fps instead of 4k 30fps, and if so, what percentages of games give you that option?
As far as I’m aware not a single PS5 game is capped at 30fps.
@@frisby7143 I ended up picking a ps5 up the day after making that comment, and I'm pretty sure, most if not all, games run at 30 fps on resolution mode.
@@frisby7143I think the ps5 is capped at 120 fps games like blood borne cap at 30 fps
Having ps4 and pc is ok specially if your patience gamer! Some ps5 games also released in ps4 and some exclusive games release on ps5 will come to pc so for me waiting is the key
Title should be "ps5- is it worth it now?" Cuz a lot of people still sticking to their ps4
Is it still $500 for the basic model with a disc drive ? Im tooo poor...😅
Where i looked a big market company with disc it was like 450 and without 400. But that is euros so its cheaper in america or where you are from
Wished there was a way Sony could make the Vita or a future handheld as a pseudo Switch for the PS5.
I had to get a ps5 bc my ps4 just quit working
I love my PS5 and hope to get a Series X again so I can have both. I enjoy the PS5 a lot more because I like the controller and the exclusives, but both consoles are great in there own way. If you want to know which one you should get id recommend the PS5 if you want a full next gen futuristic experience.
what are the exclusives?
@@danieltkach2330 I shouldn't have to explain there's tons
@@hydro_chronic would you name a few? Wikipedia lists two or three, but obviously there's more if you are saying this. Would you mind? I haven't owned a PS since PS2 and now considering the PS5, but I don't see good reviews or exclusives, maybe getting the info from a gamer who knows the system is better
@danieltkach2330 Spider-Man 2, God of War Ragnarok, Horizon Forbidden West, Gran Turismo 7, The Last of Us Part 2, Helldivers 2, The Last Ronin, Dragons Dogma 2, Ghost of Tsushima, Final Fantasy 16, Ratchet and Clank Rift Apart, Sackboy A Big Adventure, and many more.
its muuuuch more worth it nowadays, and year by year i gets better thankfully. the slim model is better designed, psvr2 is insanely good, and the cross gen games are at its best with ps5. this is the third time playstation only gets good around like 4 years after the fact, its like the one piece of hardware manufacturing lmao
I miss PlayStation a lot but i am extremely patient and also can easily let go of unnecessary ambitions.
getting a ps5 this christmas its the first play station console ive ever owned im so exited
Pros: you can detach and attach different covers basically changung the look of the ps5, graphics are improved and are more realistic
Cons: sony basically made ps5 users technicians because they made it where you have to take apart the console and clean it, also the fact that it has low storage i.g GB's suck and you have to but a ssd chip for more storage.
After the release of the PS5 and Xbox series in 2020, game makers need 2 to 3 years to complete one AAA class game, and that's quite a long time.😂
I like the physical more than the digital. Because I can always have it forever. Some happy with my PlayStation 5 slim.
What trend? They only release a pro model for ps4
they talk about 8k gaming but my screens can barely show 1080p lol
Calling it now PS5 Pro will be 800 bucks thats 200 more from PS5s original value when it first released basing it off Sony Directs shop where i got mine
Ps5 Pro is out now but 800 buckarooss? Im getting the normal one
Good content! 👍🏻
