Because I can't eat seafood, I'm now thinking of using chicken salad in the place of the tuna salad and I bet it would be just fine although yours looks just scrumptious. Hey from Germany again. I used to eat this when I was young in the UK. I work in a bar that serves food and I'd totally forgotten about this. I may suggest that we add it to the menu. It looks divine. And the look on yr face when you do the taste test proves it. I could, and probably do watch yr videos all the time. I'm like you in the kitchen at home too. Experiment, tweek and bam. Nailed it.
These tuna melts look fabulous. I watch you a lot on TV but have no wY to comment there. You make me happy and I have cooked several of your recipes. Even though I have been cooking for 50+ years I do find new tips and ideas on your show. I love peach tea!! Do you make yours or buy it? If you make it I would love to have the recipe. I have been buying Crystal Light peach tea but it is getting very hard to find. God bless you for your sweet nature and the obvious love you have for cooking and for 'your' Ron. My husband was also named Ron. Sadly he passed away in 2019 at 83. He had a good full life and was ready to go. I can't help smiling every time you say My Ron. Thank you.

I have never heard of tuna melts until I moved to Fl from NYC. I’m thinking maybe it’s a southern thing? Either way it looks scrumptious and I can’t wait to try it! I make mine similar, only if I use a white cheese like provelone, mozzerela, or munster I top it off with tomatoe. If I use a yellow cheese cheddar, or american, I top it with cucumber. I think those compliment the cheeses best. Love your choice of bread.

Hi Rachel! You will be surprised at how good things like tuna salad and potato salad are using dill pickles instead of sweet pickle relish. Also in my deviled eggs and egg salad I use chopped green olives instead of sweet pickles. Please give it a try….it’s the only way we now eat these things….but I guess it’s just because we don’t care for the sweetness and prefer the sour taste of the dill and the olives. We also like some of our foods on the hot/spicy side too! We do love a good tuna melt!! Love your shows!❤

Yes, English muffins and also I add shredded carrots instead of pickle relish. Try it...gives a wonderful taste with the tuna and I omit the celery since the shredded carrots are crunchy somewhat
Your tuna mix recipe was SO tasty even if I omitted the celery & raw onion. My husband doesn’t like to eat tuna but he said 3x during & after lunch it was the tuna that was good. I wanted to make a tuna sub like from Subway but their recipe was just tuna & mayo. No flavor so I saw your video & it was seasoned just right! We even ate the tuna leftovers as dip with slim pretzel crisps 😊 it was good ❤

Last night I made your chicken tostada a d they were delicious ,prior I was guilty of seasoning with Taco seasoning where Mexican dishes were concerned and though they were good I suppose not like the seasonings you have to taught, tonight it will be tuna melt as something quick is in order thank you I enjoy all your videos
