Yeah they’re ads do seem scammy looking, but they’re so bad that it’s entertaining to watch.
If I were a marketing agency, I'd be knocking on their door. To have a more professional looking company. Their packaging is "rough looking" due to it coming directly from warehouse distribution and not from another company that handles their packaging. Hence, they can keep their prices low and ship for free.
Anything Chinese is a scam

This shop looked so fake, but I decided to place an order anyway. To my surprise, the items arrived today in almost perfect condition, and many of them were even better than expected. Although the packaging was pretty meh, I understand why some people receive broken items. But yeah overall a good experience for me.

I know this is such a small detail, but when he said that he bought it for his son he smirked a little. The sign of a good father who just gets instantly happy from the thought of his child.
They have an office in Boston. However all the stuff comes directly from China. I did some research on them. It is a Chinese based company that was mostly dealing agricultural goods in China. Now they are branching out and want to provide goods to the American consumer factory direct at low prices. They want to become a competitor to Amazon. They have a LONG way to go to do that. They definitely need to work on the packaging. Overall my experience was good, but the selection of products is more like stuff you see that you like, but not necessarily stuff you need.

They seemed sketchy so I dropped like $10 just to see what happens and everything I ordered actually showed up which was nice. Trying that from wish and you never know if the thing you ordered will show up or not. Also everything actually worked. Yea these things are obviously not the best quality and have a tendency to feel cheap but with how low the prices are its a wonder they work at all. Honestly it feels like they have to be hemorrhaging money. They probably make pennies off a lot of sales and they don't even charge shipping to boot
Most items are actually worth very little in terms of materials and labor involved. Brands and middleman sellers obscure this fact and charge way too much to customers in order to make billions. For instance an iPhone lightning cable uses 1$ worth of material and 1$ of labor to make, Apple sells it for $20 on their store website....

I got a bunch of ads back in december, and I've been shopping with them for months now, all of their electronics aren't the best, but their clothing is ridiculously cheap. perfectly fine hoodies, pants, shoes etc. for $10 or under.
I’ve already placed 5 orders and loved everything. Products were good not cheap. Packaging little strange but nothing was broken. I don’t care about the box, as long as product OK.

I bought a pair of night driving glasses, and an electric hand mixer. The glasses were excellent, very clear, and fit quite well. The mixer is very underpowered, but for things like omelets or Pancake type batters, it's not too bad. The mixer box listed 1 wattage amount, and the mixer has a sticker on the base with a different wattage amount. I'm guessing the lesser wattage is probably more accurate. You're right about the packaging. The box the mixer came in, was pretty dinged up, but it survived the trip. Happy trails to you...

I've been ordering from them for the last several months and always got everything I've ordered.
I just bought some jewelry and shoes through them and I gotta say neither one of products are not bad. I was surprised how the jewelry looked, and the gold chain feels quite heavy which surprised me too. But overall I had no issues with them and it arrived to my place quick. Good review👌🏿

The package is that way is because it goes through customs. My package was the same way. Everything I ordered from them really work and was in good condition.

I waited a few weeks and I decided to buy a few things (a fake game boy with 400 games, a motion sensitive led light and reading glasses), everything was great.
I was surprised that they all worked and the “game boy” and light was rechargeable.
I will buy again.

I love Temu I've placed 13 orders in total I love that all my stuff comes at one time and I don't have to wait months to get my items everything I have ordered has came in less than 2 weeks . Amazon was triple the price for the same items

I actually won a DIY LED lit mini dollhouse for my wife. All for feeding the fish on the Temu app. It was originally 60 and was on sale for 30. Just got it for free and it actually showed up. Looks awesome and I can't wait to put it together
I love Temu. I got those foam runners off of there. I have the black and red ones. Now I will get every color. Got a rug coming in too. I may have to do a few reviews. Temu is the plug!!!

Hahaha valid statement! Typically this type of company wins by having better vendor channels or providing channels for manufacturers to get product to consumers at better rates than others. Kind of how Walmart sales in volume as opposed to lower numbers at higher prices. For example you can buy a trinket from alibaba for $10 but if you buy 25 they'll sale them to you for $6 a piece instead. Same model for some of the international shippers. But seriously, they're everywhere!!
Some friends told me that they are receiving more spam/scam email and calls after signing up for temu. They are probably making profits by selling your Data. I can't be too certain but that's what it sounds like to me.

By CCP subsidised shipping costs. Similar issue happened in Kenya and local shop owners are being hurt by these practices.

All my Temu items are on point. Only thing I had to return was the tent repair tape. It was perfect tape for tent repair. It just didn't stick to my tent material. I am going to try the 6 inch wide crazy sticky tape. I got their rechargeable batteries: 18650, AA, AAA. All very good quality & double the mAh than other more expensive brands. My flashlights, headlamps, lanterns, regular digital camera & trail cams eat batteries alive. I ordered their smart recharging ports that charge Li-ion & NiMh via USB-C. So I can charge them from my large 20k mAh power banks. I got some of their molle canvas bags, too. Great quality. I will be buying most my gear from Temu.
Oh man I’m obsessed with temu. I totally get why anyone would be hesitant. My first order I spent like $11 to be safe. Now I’m regretful cuz I wasted my first time 30% off. Lol. I work for a national shipping company and we get tons of temu. That always makes me feel better as their customer to see they are doing real business. It’s going to take a while to get but free shipping can’t be beat. They do give you an option to pay with PayPal Apple Pay google pay. I loved that they give other payment options. They are not perfect,boxes can be a little banged up but never had a broken item yet🤞if they take longer to arrive than expected they will credit you $5. They do hold up on that deal. It’s worth doing your research for sure. For me I’m just having a good time. Everything is cheap cheap. 😊

I used PayPal, too. For the same reason. I had $5 free with free shipping. Spent $2.13. Tbh I doubt I’ll ever order from them again but I got 4 things for cheap. 2 of which I actually needed. 🤷🏼♀️

Alright, I m actually an international student from China. This company in China is called 拼多多. They mainly served for the people who is not really rich in China. They don't really care about is the product have good package or not, as long as the price is low and things can work, people will buy it.

i've bought around $150 worth of
items from temu and i'll be honest, they've been pretty damn good. i bought some underwear which looked like PSD and when i got them, they were legit PSD underwear. temu has them at 6 or 7 a pop while they are officially sold for like $25. the discounts go crazy. but overall, i'd say temu is a legit place to get cheap stuff.
Only thing I was interested in is the RGB lights for my room and pc setup. I ordered a couple of things that were super cheap hope it’s good quality

I've must have ordered about 80 items thus far from Temu and returned (easily) about 30%. I've not been happy with everything but that was expected. Today 2/1/23 I can't get into the site at all. They just started putting add on youtube so I guess they are overwhelmed. Best site for crafting supplies and kitchen gadgets.

@@CoZChristopher Easy return process, easy to find your items that were sent and next to the listing just click return. You either print out a return address label or as in about 5% of my purchases they say, no return, keep, give away or donate. Choice of store credit or balance deposited back onto your credit card. If you have a broken item they want a photo. Honestly, best and easiest return I've ever done.

@@stampbykory Hey, I have an update on the return process. You have free returns from one order (no matter how many items you have in that order) at ONE time. I made a return on a 5 item order, done, end of return. Then a week later I was able to try out another item and it didn't do what it said so I tried to return it however, because it wasn't included with the other return in the order I got this message: "A flat shipping and handling fee of $7.99 will apply and be deducted from your refund." It's a $3 item, so forge that. Something to be aware of to try out all your items at one time and decide what if any to return.

I’ve shopped here for many items. Products are ok. All shipped from China. A lot of non-brand name items but so far, for me, decent sturdy items from Bluetooth earbuds, wireless keyboard/mouse, some sneakers (Yeezy knockoffs), exterior solar lights. Haven’t had a bad experience yet. Packaging is trash but products are solid 8/10 overall.
I ordered a bunch of novelty toys , hover ball ,light up fidget spinner , all seemed worth the low prices, only thing 2 of the items looked way smaller than advertised and one box was slightly crushed overall 6 of the 8 items seemed a good value the other 2 octagon led lights and swinging balls seemed way smaller than the picture

I cant tell you how much I've already ordered from Temu. I havent had one bad experience yet. I just hope the prices don't change, as everyone continues to complain about their packages. Better packaging will likely mean no free shipping or pricier products...or both. Be careful what you ask for.
I've been getting so many ads about temu that I had to see if it's legit or not.
I feel like Temu is a good app (I haven't ordered anything yet though) but based off what I've seen and heard, I think you should really think about buying certain things. Like you you buy something fragile, you might have to think deeper into buying it because like most people say, their packaging isn't great.

I ordered 10 products and they should arrive by the 17th. I will let you guys know how everything came out when they arrive. (Products) 2 different hats, afghan scarf, nylon belt, bracelet, handheld laser, bandana, fidget pen, phone case and some privacy screen protectors.

Everything came in on the 11 and was exactly as expected. Nothing was damaged and packaging was pretty decent.

One of the awesome features of Temu (which may have already been mentioned) is that if a price for an item in your order drops in price after your order's been delivered, you can request a price adjustment (a partial refund or discount basically), as long as the order was within 30 days, if I recall
It has not been mentioned in this video to the best of my knowledge and it is a MAJOR CALLOUT! I've used that feature several times in my recent orders!! Thank you for sharing it here!!!!
