My first Hinderer is the Jurassic, Tri-Way ,Spearpoint, Battle Blue, Black G10. I love this knife. I have owned a few other models, but will always keep this one. It is very comfortable, and looks pretty cool. I also have an 18 3.5 Gen V, Firetac, and a Halftrack on the way. I love his stuff and will always have some Hinderers in my stash.
Yeah, every time I see one of your hinderer reviews, it becomes clear to me that I'm going to have to get myself one at some point. This is a very beautiful knife. Thanks so much.
I'd like to see this with a sheepsfoot or wharnie blade.
Got lucky and grabbed a stone washed version. Was hoping for a working finish as well, but I'm just pumped they're finally making them again.

Congrats!! Been eyeing a Jurasic. Bought 3.5 skinny choil and no choil. Kept choil and love it. The no choil made me miss the choke up position. For me the second position was worth losing a little cutting edge. Want a wharncliffe blade shape next in a 3". Seems like it would be a perfect EDC size.

DLT had a dozen or so in working finish a few hours ago, but they went in minutes. I have a bunch of XM-18’s and two Eklipses, but no Jurassic yet. Thanks for the review.

Love Hinderers, wish they went back to full production soon, as it's even more difficult to get one.
They pretty much are back to full production, but there's pent up demand.

Got the od green sw coming. Pretty freaking stoked.
Had the original s35v, 3.25 Jurassic had a love/hate with that one. The knife was perfect, the action with Teflon was terrible. After broken in, it would have been awesome as a flipperless version but let it go since I didn't want to mod it. Got a xm18 gen 6 on order to give Hinderer another try.
With using my xm18 I found that the "Working Finish" isn't really for work. The finish gets messed up easily.
I can never get these on time! I’d rather have them do bigger batches with less frequent drops. Like twice per year but 100X the amount
Keep supply low to keep demand high. The small batches sell out completely, immediately, because people know if they don’t jump on the one they want, they may not get another chance. If they made 100x the amount of the current drops, they wouldn’t sell nearly as many because people would know that the supply was high. So don’t get high on your own supply, or whatever.

No joke. Not sure how GEC stays in business, they only seem to make a couple dozen knives per year and sell out before they even hit dealers 🤷♂️
I've had my xm-18 slicer for about two weeks now, I thought the Jurassic was discontinued! I wanted a Jurassic or an eklipse... And haven't they actually discontinued the eklipse? I've heard that from a few people.
Don't get me wrong, I'm super excited about my xm-18.
They just came out with new Eklipses. The Gen 1 Jurassic is gone, but this Gen 2 only came out a year ago.

I've got an Eklipse and an xm 18 3.5 and would consider a Jurassic, but getting a bit tired of 20çv and m390. I would welcome s45vn or something else.
